Extremely intelligent. Up-to-date on all the latest procedures and medicines. Returns phone calls promptly. Plus, patients are scheduled so you are seen with little or no wait time even though she always has the time to talk with you. Quickly received my pap test results.

dr. ferrara is a wonderful doctor. She worked with me to have a success vaginal birth after a c-section. Other docotors in town would not allow this. I recommend her to everyone.

Dr. Ferrara does nothave a personal touch to her patients. She is very uncompassionate and do not now how much knowledgeable she is. I lost my baby ..do not know the reason and she did not know either. Hope she diagnosed that earlier as she knows I had health issues. All she says is come for a visit I will see (more copay) and finally says everything seems OK (dunno if it is reallu OK). The max time she spends with a patient is 3-5 min. Gladshe is moving ...no regrets I can move on..If you guys r looing for a ob/gyn please go for someone else.

I had seen Dr.Ferrara for several years for routine exams and was satisfied with her care. When I became pregnant, and began to experience issues, she seemed to distance herself from my care. Once, when I finally reached her to find out my test results she "oh, yes, I see my partner left me a post it note" -and then proceeded to tell me that my baby would not be able to survive. FROM A POST IT NOTE, not even the official report from the test!!! I cannot believe that a woman who has children herself was so dispassionate. I think this doctor knows her medical facts and provides adequate medical care, but if you are looking for a doctor who also cares about your emotional well being, this is not the Dr. for you.

Dr. Ferrara delivered my baby years ago. She was always extremely kind in the appointments, even loaned me a video, but the delivery wasn't as expected. I was quite unimpressed with her partners and hoped beyond hope one of them wouldn't deliver me. Despite the office opening into the L&D floor and seeing the door from my room, she didn't once check on me. The nurse told me she saw the baby's head and urged me to make "practice pushes." I said I'd wait for the doctor. When she arrived, she didn't say anything to me. Scrubbed up, caught the baby 20 mins later, inspected the placenta, left. Like I wasn't there at all! Didn't see her again until discharge. I was shocked. Her office stopped carrying my insurance shortly after. They double charged me for my files & never got them to me. The office moved and became a spa, hawking wares from every corner and angle. I wasn't sad to move on, which is a shame considering how great Dr. Ferrara had been.
DONT EVER GO SEE THIS DOCTOR!! SHE IS VERY RUDE, INCOMPETANT AND HER PARTNERS ARE NO BETTER. GOD FORBID YOU GET SICK OR NEED HELP OVER THE WEEKEND AND YOU NEED TO HAVE THIS OFFICE PAGED. NOT ONLY WILL YOU GET ANOTHER DOCTOR ON CALL BUT A INCOMPETANT ONE JUST LIKE HER. I WAS MISDIAGNOSED BY THIS DOCTOR ON A FRIDAY, PAGED HER PARTNER THRU HER ANSWERING SERVICE ON SATURDAY (SHE WAS OBVIOUSLY AT THE BEACH BECAUSE IT TOOK HER AN HOUR TO CALL ME BACK AND THIS WAS AFTER I HAD HER PAGED TWICE!) EVEN THOUGH I WAS IN CONSIDERABLE PAIN THE PARTNER WOULD NOT CALL ME IN A SIMPLE VAGINAL CREAME WHICH WOULD HAVE EASED MY DISCOMFORT CONSIDERABLY. NOT LIKE I ASKED FOR ANY TIME OF PAIN MEDICINE BUT SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS A CREAME AND THEY COULD NOT DO IT. SHE INSTEAD WANTED ME TO WAIT UNTIL MONDAY TO COME BACK TO THEIR OFFICE FOR ANOTHER OFFICE VISIT (MEANING ANOTHER COPAY/ MORE MONEY) WHEN I JUST SAW HER 24 HOURS AGO!! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR OR HER PARTNERS TO ANYONE!!! SPREAD THE WORD!!
