26/06/14 5 5 1 1 I've been a patient for a few years and will switch. While Dr. Mody is very pleasant I cannot put my faith in a physician that doesn't do a patient exam. Seriously, my dr's appts could be done over the phone and with out the battle of Boston traffic and parking. I'd like to have a physician that listens to you when you're having an issue and does an exam, not just send you off to a lab without moving from her chair. She's a wonderful person just not the physician for me.  Respond

05/04/12 5 5 5 5 Elinor Mody was recommended by another physician (friend). She has been super. She has been respectful of my wishes in treatment, and helpful in referals when needed. I have found that she does not "over-treat" and respects the role of proactive good health in management of RA. She is a a gem of a doctor.  Respond

12/06/09 5 4 5 5 I have been a patient of hers since her residency at BWH when I was first diagnosed with RA in 1992. I strongly feel she has kept me from deteriorating. She keeps up with the latest research and continues to suggest med changes and adjustments when current course no longer works. Her ability to empathize with her patients is outstanding. In my opinion, her sense of humor certainly helps when "bad" times occur. I have and would recommend Dr. Mody to anyone who is afflicted with arthritis.

07/07/08 5 4 5 5 Truly caring. Thorough follow-ups. Told me to call or email between appointments if things weren't going well. Best of all, has helped me get an appointment sooner with a specialist.
