She has been my doctor for about 10 years now, I feel rushed everytime I'm there, also she makes me feel stupid when I ask questions and she downplays everything. I would love to find another female doctor but this is just about impossible.

She was very opiniated, and if you don't see things her way she is extrememly rude to you and demeaning. She talks down to you. I like a doctor that makes you feel they care for your well being, she only cares about her ego. She wont explain things to you because she feels you won't understand anyway. I had to bite my tounge with her, and i hardly ever get upset. I will not go back to her, i get better treatment and care at the walk in clinic. Also she is a pill pusher and was angry that i saw a naturopath.

Dr. Yan has been my Dr on and off for over a decade. When I moved back to BC after living in another province, she took me back on as a patient. She provided health care during my preganancy and I have always found her to be a caring and knowledgeable physician.

spends time with you and listens. Considers more than just the immediate problem. Cares about her patients. Staff ensure referals are for times that you can actually attend.

3 generations of my family go to Dr. Yan. She is very professional and very caring. Like any doctor, she may seem to rush you, but its your own damn fault for bringing in a grocery list of concerns, they do have a schedule to keep too! I will continue to go to her, as she is one of the few doctors i can truely trust !

I have had Dr. Yan since 1996 & find her to be an excelent Dr. She is very pleasant & knowlable. Her staff are very pleasant.

Dr Yan should not be a Doctor. she is miserable and unprofessional, she treated me like dirt when I went to see her after a few years. She is extremely rude and doesn;t have any caring quailites

I had seen Dr Yan approximately 10 year prior to my last visit. My doctor was unavailable who also works in the same office. My experience 10 years ago was fine. She appears concerned and willing to help. My latest visit with her was horrible. She was rude, had no time for me and made me feel like I was wasting her time. I bit my tongue, but let me tell you it wasnt easy. I will never go back to her. I had four issues that I wanted to talk to her about and by the time I was going to tell he about the last one, she was so rude I honestly couldnt believe it. I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor in my life. I get far better treatment at a walk in clinic. It is very unfortunate.

She has been my family dr for about 13 years. She was very helpful and friendly in past. The past year or 2 I have noticed her becoming very rushed and blunt. I feel she is impatient and it makes me uncomfortable considering i drive from downtown to see her.

She is a rude, unpleasant woman. She wouldnt deliver my baby, so I had to switch doctors last minute. After changing doctors she refused to fax my medical records to my new doctor.

She has been my family doctor for 15 year now. If she does not know about something, I find that she will obtain the needed information, while I am in her office or get back to me within a day or two. In the past, if I went to a walk-in-clinique, I always regretted it and it makes me appreciate her services. I commute from Vancouver and Coquitlam to see her because I trust her and I am always satisfied with her recommendations. No one is perfect, but she has done a great job for me and my family.

I no longer go to her. She is always in a rush and sometimes it took over a week to see her, because of her schedule. When I mentioned this to her, she retorted by saying that she too, had a life. When I finally got to see her, she was in the room for less than 5 mins. I hurt my back and had a swelling, and she told me that I had gained extra pounds and that I should start yoga. I changed doctors and have not gone back to her and she is also ****.

Have had her as a family Dr. since 1996. She is very caring & does solve any medical problem you have, she will also refer you to a specialist if needed.An excelent Dr.

I had a pap test done when I was pregnant with my son and she said that there was a something that i need to see a ob for this. it turned out to be cancer of the cerviax and i was very upset and she said it will be fine. and after my son was born i had surgery and i have been cancer free for 3 years now thank you for caring

I use to be happy with Dr Yan, BUT now that she totally miss diagnosed my self and my 3 year old daughter that resulted me to go to a new doctor. I had to have surgery over something that would've been minor BUT if she NEW what it was in the first place it would of never led to surgery!!! My daughter had a bladder infection and she said give her a SITZ bath...come on....give your head a shake!!!!!

Very Knowledgeable and takes time to answer all your questions before you leave. I was referred to a specialist for my situation, and her office had conatcted me next day with regards to an appointment with the specialist.

Used to see her for years. She has gone down hill doesn't feel to care or take the time to even examine anymore. Myself and others I now have been missed diagnosed! Have had no choice but to find a new doctor that cares!

I had a pap test from her,,, and it was the worst I had in life,,,she really hurt me,,, I find her very cold and uncaring,, always in a rush, appears not to interested in older people, she likes babies better and young children

I have Crohn's disease and the last time I saw her because I had been in pain for 3 months and everything she was trying was not helping, instead of referring me to a specialist, she said that I needed to accept that I had this disease and told me she couldn't do anything more for me. I have since changed doctors and gotten a referral to a specialist and now I am pain free after 7 months.

I have been Dr Yans patient for over 15 years and I can truthfully say that she geniunally cares about her patients. She takes inititive to help me find the specialist I have needed in the past and ALWAYS follows up with the information. She ROCKS!!

Unable to give any post operative advice about my surgery, no other patients with this type of surgery. I would make it my mission to find out information for my patient, rather than ignoring the pleas for help.
