I put up with her rude staff for five years because I trusted her, until today. Four of her staff members lied to me about 'lab orders have been sent', ' I'll send them now', 'I'll fax them now', I'll email them now', while I waited, missing work and fasting ALL DAY LONG! Finally, when I called at 4:00 was told that THIS MORNING, she had changed her policy and would require me to come in first before she would order lab work. NO WAY! Won't be seeing me there! How rude and unprofessional!
She really did get her licence from a CRACKER JACK BOX! Runs test that are unnecessary-12 vials of blood at one time, will not use insurance approved labs (then promises you will not receive a bill from the lab that their office will take care of what insurance wont cover). 8 months later I am not receiving multiple bills over $200 a piece for blood work she ran. Started seeing a new Dr last month and was told the 50 pages of blood work was useless (she also explained why). Sattar told me I had an infection in my gut was told to take some natural meds to cure it and am now being told the tests she ran were only telling her what medications would not react in my system. She may run all the tests that seem like she is trying to find the root of the problem, but then never follows up. AVOID this Dr.!
The first doctor I have found who actually listens and works to get to the root causes of illness.
This is one of the Worst offices I have ever encountered. We waited an hour past my 76 year old father in laws appointment time and were lied to regarding the appointment time. He never saw the Doctor, only the nurse practitioner. They charged him $110 co-pay..which he shouldn't have been charged, he is on medi-care and has a supplemental insurance. They ordered blood work for him and charged him $25 to draw the blood instead of giving him the option to go to the lab. They used a lab that is NOT covered under his insurance or medicare..so now he has a bill of over $6,000 for unnecessary blood work. It's the doctor's staff responsibility to know which lab to send blood work to so that it is covered. My father in law is on a fix income...how is he supposed to pay this bill? I called the insurance company and was advised that the doctors office staff should not have charged him for a co-pay for his visit. I called Dr. Sattar's office and Sultan assured me that he would refund the $110 as soon as he had payment from the insurance company. The doctor was paid by the insurance company in February ...I've made attempts to have him refund the money for the last 3 weeks and have been told..."Oh, yes we did get paid and I will send out the check". Today I called to follow up again after he failed to return my call on Monday and he stated that I just needed to TRUST him and he would review the account and mail out the check. Dr. Sattar really needs to get rid of her father as an office manager...he doesn't care about anyone and he is very rude. I asked him today why I should trust him, it's been 3 weeks of trying to get him to return the money. My father in law is on a fixed income and could use the $110 to help pay for other medical expenses...it's his money and needs to be returned. I told Sultan that I would be reporting the office to Medicare for the terrible conduct of the front office. He cussed me out and hung up on me. So, I will be spending my entire weekend reporting them to Medicare, the Texas Attorney General and any website where I can write a review. The first day he went to the office I should have known that there was going to be a problem...everyone in the office was complaining about the office support for the Dr. I agree with the review dated January 7, 2016..I feel that the good reviews have been posted by Sultan to cover up his terrible misconduct.
I was with the same doctor for many years. But in January 2015, new health insurance required a change so I chose Dr. Sattar. She scammed me by ordering routine tests, then making me schedule a follow-up appointment to discuss the results. This wasted my time, let alone the small co-pay, and the health insurer was probably gouged too. Several in the waiting room were also there for follow-ups. After the second routine test (which was identical to the first), I refused to schedule a follow-up, and instructed the doctor's staff to send me the results. They did; but I have serious doubts on whether Dr. Sattar will evaluate a patient's tests to ascertain any need for urgent action if the patient doesn't make a follow-up appointment. In September 2015, I reached Medicare age and went back to my old doctor. I do not recommend Dr. Sattar. I believe anonymous reviews are underhanded. My real name is John Stoutimore.
We had this doctor for the last two years. It was a nightmare. The office manager is obnoxious and unprofessional. He is a financial guy but dispenses medical advice and has no manners. So, be careful who you talk to in the office regarding your medications and health issues. The staff is mediocre. They never returned your calls. We always had to call several times to get medications filled or questiones answered. It was always stressful talking to these people. Nothing went smoothly. These guys are not sensitive to patients' needs. The doctor does not do complete physical exams herself and relies on medical students for that. Is it ethical to do that? The doctor and office manager want you to visit their office four times a year for blood tests otherwise doctor will not dispense medication. These is no common sense that not all patients need to see doctor four times a year or get blood drawn four times a year. There was no flexibility in this matter. This at least gave me an impression that these guys are more about exploiting patients than providing quality health care. These guys are in the wrong business.
Dr. Bibi Sattar is an professional, kind, caring physician but the office manager (Her father) very rude, unprofessional and down right a misfit for the Medical office. I agrre with the other writer. As soon as you check-in the cashier are asking for a paymemt before service is rendered. I will no longer be a patient as long as her father is the office manager. He is very racist and talksto woman has if they don't have an opinion. I hope Dr.Sattar will realize that her father isn't concerned about the patient on the $$$$$$$$$$. He is clueless when it come to greeting patients
saw only a nurse practitioner for $125. blood test took 4 weeks to come back. other tests were not even scheduled until I called the office repeatedly. family office staff is rude and offensively money oriented. when leaving the office I saw several patients personal info as they had licenses, etc blown up on computer screens for all to see. was asked for social security number in front of everyone in the waiting area-twice!
Best family doctor in Fort Worth hands down, glad we found her!
Dr. Sattar is a great Doctor but she has the rudest uncaring unprofessional office staff. You call to schedule an appointment with the doctor and they want to know the details of your condition/ sickness what happened to HIPPA people!!!!When you get to the office the first thing before you even see the doctor is money......surely!!!
