On the second day I saw Joel Richter he was very thoughtful, encouraging, patient and apologetic for his meeting with me the previous day. He was encouraging, patient, and kind. An amazing transformation, but worth keeping in mind: if you catch him on a day he's overworked and with interns, he may be rude and dismissive. Alone and with time on his hands he can be an amazing doctor to consult. Either way know that he is very knowledgeable and potentially your best ally. Good luck.
