21/07/14 5 5 5 5 Dr. Chimes is the man! Came in with lots of pain in my ankle after beginning training for a marathon and Dr. Chimes diagnosed me with shin splints and a stress fracture in my right ankle. We had x-rays taken and he recommended a nutritionist and physical therapist to get me on track to finish my marathon in 2 months time. After using the nutritionist and physical therapy i was able to complete the full 26.2 mile marathon with no pain in my ankles. Without Dr. Chimes I never would have been able to attempt running the marathon. He even gave me advice on how to stay fit and healthy for my particular body type and we created another plan for me post-race. A truly amazing doctor and truly an amazing facility. I would most definately go back if needed.

22/03/14 5 5 5 5 Being a patient at LWSS has been an amazing experience for me. I suffered a work related injury to my low back in Mar.2013. My case was made more difficult due to the fact that I had injured my low back years prior resulting in surgery. The insurance company didn't want to provide any tx because of the previous injury. Dr. Chimes has been amazing. I knew he was someone who could see past my previous hx and focus on the present injury after my 1st visit with him. He was able to conduct some diagnostic tests that showed there was a new injury. Dr. Chimes' approach to treating this injury is a well rounded one. He treats the whole person. He has been a great source of encouragement for me as I have made some major lifestyle changes. I have lost 50 lbs and have increased my activity level. Dr. Chimes has performed an injection and referred me to P/T. The combination of lifestyle change and medical intervention has been very positive. Thank you Dr. Chimes and staff at LWSS.

10/03/14 3 3 1 1 Dr Chimes is arrogant and diagnosed my daughter with disc problems he ordered PT for her after 5 months of PT she was not getting better, we took her to a new Doc. he did a bone scan and immediately found 2 stress fractures. We wasted 6 months and thousands of dollars on the wrong Diagnosis.  See Responses

18/11/13 4 4 2 3 I visited his office twice. I was charged about $380 for the first time(office consultant) I was charged for the following items: 1. Office follow up visit 2. ultrasound 3 ultrasound guided xxxx injection 4. ultrasound guided nerve block. (total $1120) for the second time(one hour stay in the office). I can't say it help me a lot. Maybe a little. They claim they provide the highest standard service, though

20/10/13 5 5 5 5 Dr. Chimes was the first doctor to take time to listen and correctly diagnose my headaches. Due to him I have been able to learn what caused my headaches and modified my behavior to eliminate the crippling pain. Were it not for him, then I would most likely had to change my career. I credit Dr. Chimes for saving my life. He is honestly the most amazing doctor I have ever had the privilege of meeting.

20/06/13 5 5 5 5 After suffering from post-concussion syndrome for more than three years, I was referred to Dr. Chimes for pain management. He has made the difference in my continuing recovery. In addition to the spinal injections for pain management, Dr. Chimes took the time to "connected the dots" by referring me to other specialists who could help treat my chronic symptoms. He's a "no nonsense"-type person who is sincerely interested in his patients' welfare. I will be forever grateful for his intervention. Pittsburgh's loss is Seattle's gain. I wish there were more doctors like him.

05/04/13 2 3 1 2 Dr. Chimes did not seemed interested in my wife's problems. We barely saw him as he pawned us off on inexperienced residents. His diagnosis was incorrect and we wasted much time with him. We found him to be arrogant in terms of bed side manner and listening skills  Respond

25/02/13 5 5 5 5 It has been my great fortune to be a patient of Dr. Chimes, first for a lower back problem and then a frozen shoulder. He is a wonderful doctor who offers patients the full depth of his medical expertise and his compassion. He takes whatever time is needed to communicate available treatment options. He is a thoughtful listener and respectful of patients' questions and concerns. He provided hope when it felt as though there was none. He will be sorely missed. Our loss is Seattle's gain. J. He is a very kind, interested physician who will bring good advice and special care to all his new patients. We will miss him as he leaves Pittsburgh. A. Harris

22/03/12 5 5 5 5 Dr. Chimes is amazing! I can't possibly say enough good about him. I was in a car accident, and I suffered injuries that risked me losing my career. Before being referred to Dr. Chimes by a friend, I had seen at least 10 different doctors, none of which were any help. Dr. Chimes has been the best doctor I have ever seen for anything. He has taken a personal interest in my health, and he truly cares about patients. He's not one of those docs who is in and out of the room in 5 seconds. Dr. Chimes always takes the time to discuss multiple treatment options and explain them in terms that I can understand, as well as advising me on the most effective and safest treatment options. He is a wealth of knowledge and stays up to date on all the newest treatments and research. He thinks outside of the box, and because of Dr. Chimes, I am finally progressing these past 3 months when I spent a year before him making no progress at all. I am truly grateful for all that he has done for me.  Respond

11/03/11 5 5 5 5 Very friendly, listens to what you have to say, spends as much time as needed with you for example I spent an hour with him going over my systems and what treatments were available and what side effects could occur, he thinks outside of the box when treating you (in other words if regular treatments don't work he tries something different and new)
