:( Click to report rating    3/6/09 3 1 2 2  I have been going to Dr. Zacher for a year. I have been diagnosed with PCOS. I had extreme unexplained weight gain as I have always had a healthy diet. She never prescribed metformin or mentioned any dietary concerns. Almost all women with PCOS and weight gain can suspect that they have a form of insulin resistance. I read and read and finally found the glycemix index/load diet. I have lost 70 lbs. in 6 months, no thanks to my doctor. Also at my last appointment I was ushered into an exam room 15 minutes after my appointment and then I was left waiting for one hour while she had a non medical related conversation with an intern in her office. I had to go get them in my little robe as I had better thing to do that sit almost naked in a cold room waiting an hour after my scheduled appointment, if I was an hour late I would not have been fit in. I will not go back and felt very disrespected!
