He is an excellent dentist. I have done root canal, cleaning, crown at his clinic and all work pretty well. Once I had a very fragile tooth and he saved it. He cares about the financial concern of patients and the charge is reasonable. There is a special room for kids, which is nice as well. To be honest, I don't quite understand why he is not in the Nittany Dental Network this year and why some comments on him are so negative. He is a sincere man in addition to a good doctor.

The work Dr. Assadinia did on my tooth must all be redone. In addition, he charged my insurance for a procedure he did not perform. He lied repeatedly to me about the procedure he actually did perform (telling me he did one thing, when he actually did something quite different and unacceptable). He did my "cleaning" himself, and it took 3 appointments, each about 5 minutes. He is very high pressure, and will contact you himself if he thinks you may be reluctant to return for further treatment. He insists upon weekly checkups and office visits that will cause you to miss work for no reason whatsoever. He is able to be on time for appointments because no patient gets more than 15 minutes from him and most get 5.

STAY AWAY!!! This guy will drill every one of your teeth if you let him. He is very nice, but extremely corrupt. He is acutely aware of the limits of your insurance, and he will make sure he does everything your insurance allows. I went in for a toothache, four fillings and one year later, the tooth still hurts, and three of the fillings have cracked and need to be replaced, but not by this crook!

This dentist, Dr Assidinia, is the crookest, evil, dentist ever.. He's under investigation for Insurance Fraud, and defrauding his patients.. You may have a case too, I need your information to add to mine.. Please respond to this entry I have here and I will back to you promptly.. Let's bring him down, put him out of business.. Make him pay out of his pocket for the damage he did to your teeth!!

It took two visits for a cleaning...the first visit for the actual cleaning and the second trip just for polishing. After three visits Assidinia was still talking about the "Plan" he was going to submit to my insurance. I never did know what the plan was for especially since I didn't have a problem. My biggest issue was with cleanliness. It seemed that everyone bit down on the same plastic mouthpiece on the panorma x-ray machine without a disposable sanitary cover. I also had to get up and walk over to the sink to rinse my mouth with water that was already sitting in some cup. This guy should be inspected.

I think we all need to do something about what is going on in this office. I have absolutley had it with this dentist. Returning every week for things that take 5 minutes, x-rays at every visit for the same problem...etc. This has to be some sort of insurance fraud. You have to file a claim with PA Dental board and can do so on-line. I spoke with my insurance co. and there is nothing they can do unless you file a claim. Save your invoices and file a claim!!!

he is a crook...and doesn't change his gloves between his patients (shakes people's hands with the glove on and then goes in your mouth with that same glove)...he makes you come back several times for something that should take one visit (even a routine cleaning) just to collect on the insurance...DON'T GO..he doesn't deserve your money

Are you people crazy. he's the worst dentist to ever go to. He does not know what he's doing. He's filthy and doesn't even wash his hands or change his gloves after he's with a patient. If you think going to him 20 times in one month is great stop and think about it. He never has any time in his schedule because he sees to many patients at one time to even finish a procedure. so patient if I were you I would deffiently go get your root canal somewhere else because I guarentee you didn't and won't have one done right.

Dr A is OK. Keeps after you to follow up and complete treatment plan ASAP. I've failed to do this with a periodontist and am now paying thousands more than if I had completed it quickly. He drilled only a small hole in a filling for a root canal and discovered infection. He cleaned it and applied disinfectant, ordered antibiotics and waited until the infection cleared before continuing the work. GOOD! When work was rained out, he did his best to find time in the schedule to squeeze me in to complete a small part of the treatment plan. He even saved one broken tooth, when another dentist recommended it be pulled. His office staff is great. The office is clean and comfortable, too. Dr A may strike some as non-typical, but he is OK!

BEWARE! This dentist lied about the insurance.He does not participate with my plan @ all. I call my insurance and had verified this. I have gone to another dentist and now I need my fillings redone! Am very upset! The staff was friendly but the denist a jerk!

Do not go to Dr. Assadinia. He is a fraud. I went to him for YEARS, and even recommended him to others because he is very personable - but after becoming suspicious about the way he kept making my husband return for work on his teeth every 2 weeks - we decided to try another dentist for a second opinion. The new dentist found that we BOTH had several cavities (4 or 5 EACH), and several fillings done by Dr. Assadinia had to be redone. The cavities were not small either..one of mine, the new dentist was worried about having to do a root canal - how could Assadinia not see this? Assadinia also botched a root canal and crown on my husband and now he has to have surgery to get an implant. I have gone to the dentist every 6 months for routine check-ups my entire life - 10 years to Dr. Assadinia - and this is what happened to me. Beware! We know several other people who have had the exact same experience. Seems like insurance fraud to me.

I just saw this dentist today and am sorry I ever went. I wish I'd seen these reviews before; I would have cancelled the appt. He rushed through cleaning my teeth and wanted to take an x-ray; told me I had "enamel erosion" (which I strongly doubt) and he wants to "check me in a couple weeks." I made another appt. but will cancel it because I felt very suspicious and I don't intend to go back. I think a lot of fraud is going on here.

Dr. Assadinia is overall a good dentist. He does make you come back about every week, sometimes it does seem pointless. You can say "no" though and schedule when you want. He likes people who he can charge the sh*t out of their insurance. More concerned with cosmetic aspect. He is always on time and his office is very nice. If you do not have a very flexible work schedule, I would not recommend him, but if you do it is worth it.

I went to another dentist after seeing Dr. Assinia for 2 years.. everything he has done must be replaced due to his neglegence. He didn't properly remove decay or old fillings before refilling. Beware!

Dr. Assadinia did great work. He repaired work my previous dentist had done poorly. After 12-15 appointments, I waited past 5 minutes only once. Staff was helpful and friendly. I have recommended him to co-workers.

He is a total **** and I went in the room to get my teeth clean and the room was all dirty. and he sat me down in there and then one of the girls was in there cleaning the room while He was look at my teeth and the he did a half ass job cleaning on my teeth. I ll never go back to him again!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Assadinia seems to be in his own world, one that does not include the patient. His first interest is indeed money, although I *always* paid (out-of-pocket) at the desk, before leaving. I'd gone there for many years, and during that time he changed a LOT. I've finally given up, and have found someone more communicative, less hurried. For as good as he was in the beginning, it's too bad.

There is something very wrong in this office. He asked for a copay that I didn't even have to pay. Made several appointments to "check" and gave way too many xrays. All he cares about is money and how much he can charge. Scary. Don't even think about using him. He is a Delta participating dentist and didn't intend to accept the amount of money that they paid him even though their contract states that all Delta dentists will accept the insurance payments. He continues to make more appointments just to make more money. The work he did didn't even hold up.

Dr. Assadinia is very rude. It was always obvious that he never remembered my name when I came in for appointments, even though I had been seeing him for about a year. When he scolded me and made me feel guilty for asking another dentist for a second opinion on my teeth, I decided to switch to a different dentist.

This doctor does not care much of your dental health. He's always rushing. I feel he never carefully examined my teeth. Once I went there for a cleaning, he finished within 10 minutes, and I feel even worse than before the cleaning. I strongly suggest avoiding this doctor.
