Before engaging Dr. Taffet to perform my hip surgery, my investigation showed that he is held in universally high esteem in the local medical community. One doctor described him as the "master craftsman" in Orthopedics at Morristown Memorial. My results have confirmed that assessment: three weeks after my surgery, after doing my physical therapy excercises regularly, I'm now walking without pain, without a cane and without a limp. Dr. Taffet's office staff is friendly and professional; I never waited more than a few minutes, and my questions about matters such as billing or medication were always answered promptly and authoritatively. Dr. Taffet was liberal and patient in our pre-surgery discussions and always geared his explanations sensitively to my rather technical orientation. Moreover, off-hours calls to his office after surgery were always returned immediately. I recommend Dr. Taffet highly.

I went to him for a second opinion on a knee problem. His staff was efficient and friendly. He was informative and spent quality fime with me. He takes a conservative approach and does not just want to cut you. I have not decided if he will do my surgery, but he was more informative than the first arrogant SOB I went to. I think he needs to pay more attention to detail as his office needs updating and a good cleaning....it just seems a surgeons office would be spotless.....hope his skills are better.

I went to see Dr Taffet yesterday. His staff was friendly. The wait wasn't bad maybe 30 minutes. Dr Taffet is personable. He has a sense of humor. He did a thorough exam and listened to what I had to say. I would definitely recommend others to him. Location is convenient to 287 - it is across from Morristown Memorial. His office has physical therapy too if needed
Dr. Taffet was about a 10-30 minute wait for each of our 4 visits for my son's broken foot. His staff was courteous, efficient and friendly. Dr. Taffet has a dry sense of humor, took the time to answer my questions and made my son feel comfortable.
