Dr. Mullin's did my breast augmentation 13 yrs ago and they still look and feel wonderful. They do not look at all Fake. Very satisfied. My daughter is setting up an appointment to have hers done. I highly recommend. Not to mention he has a wonderful attitude!
I had gastric bypass surgery in 2003, and lost 170 pounds. Dr. Mullins did a tummy tuck and full body lift on me to remove the excess skin. The results are amazing - just wonderful. And, his bedside manner was second-to-none, making sure I was as comfortable as possible post op. I would highly recommend Dr. Mullins if you are in need of an experienced, excellent, kind plastic surgeon.
i was referred to Dr. Mullins by my doctor for gynecomastia. I went in to meet with him and after his diagnosis was scheduled a surgery time for later that day ( i was on spring break and only had a week). He suggested in patient surgery and the operation was done 3 hours after the initial consultation. I was initially worried because i had just met the man, and had done no research at all. I was also worried about being awake for the procedure. I asked him if he had done the surgery before without putting the patient to sleep and he said " yeah once." haha then i asked him how long it would take and he said "depends how long i have to chase you around the room." but besides having a great sense of humor he did a great job. Not to mention the fact he brought in a boombox and played ZZ Top during the whole surgery (we both like rock and roll). He was a great surgeon and would recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Mullins was asked by my internal med MD to see me after I was hospitalized with septicemia. I'd had a tummy tuck performed by another MD in metro Atlanta. However, post surgery, I couldn't get the surgeon who did the surgery to heed my persistent notifications of my quickly deteriorating health. I was admitted to Piedmont Hosp., & was found to have a systemic infection, stemming from several surgical wounds. Dr. Mullins took me to surgery, and surgically cleaned and debrided what he termed to be "a gutter" (e.g. my entire abdomen!) Once I did return home, I called Dr. Mullins' office on a weekend to tell him of a further complication that I thought was developing. He advised me to wait & watch to see how it might develop. Luckily, the problem resolved overnight. However, I woke the next morning to hear my cell ringing. It was Dr. Mullins. His first words to me were: "I didn't even rest last night worrying about you!" He is highly skilled, kind, & highly recommended.

John David Mullins is not only admired by his patients but is also a true "doctors' doctor" -- that is, he is the plastic surgeon of choice for other physicians and their family members. When a patient is with Dr. Mullins, he or she feels that his attention is entirely on just ONE person: that particular patient! No problem is too trivial to warrant his personal attention. He responds to telephoned problems, concerns, and/or questions within 20 minutes (when not in the operating room), even on his days off. Because I had a non-physician-related complication postsurgically, Dr. Mullins insisted on checking my surgical wounds personally, every 48 hours until he was satisfied that I was on the mend. Dr. Mullins employed every measure to ensure my comfort before and after surgery. His bedside manner, general medical knowledge, and surgical skills are unparalleled, in my opinion, and I would not hesitate to choose him again as my surgeon!
