3/19/13 5 5 5 5 I was surprised to read how rude patients thought Dr. Lee was. I went to him for torn knee ligaments from a skiing accident. Even though he is a surgeon, he did not pressure me to have surgery. He said it was perfectly OK to let the ligaments heal and see how the knee functions for me. (The ACL was torn, as was the MCL, but no meniscus tear.) I was 50 plus when it happened. About five years later I fractured both my legs in another skiing accident in Canada. I called him as soon as I got home and he took me first thing that morning. He put my cast on, gave me instructions to keep weight off both legs for 6 weeks, which I followed. He was nothing but nice to me. I'm 63 now, and I still ski, though more carefully and wearing a knee brace.  Respond

2/21/13 4 1 2 4 I read these ratings after my first appointment with Dr. Lee and thought to myself.. "wow that was harsh" After my second appointment I am in full agreement. The man may be an excellent clinician, but he has zero social skills or bedside manners. How the hospital system continues to allow him privileges surprises me. I am seriously considering going outside of their hospital system now. No one should be treated the way he treated me. Lesson learned, read the ratings BEFORE the appointment.

4/2/12 5 5 5 5 He knew what he was doing for me - I found him efficient, competent and willing to treat. He was not chatty or interactive but I found him gentle, patient and competent with the procedure for my dislocated, broken wrist, and this was in the middle of the night. Very happy.  Respond

11/1/11 5 4 1 1 If you are looking for an argumentative, rude and confrontational doctor to treat you, Dr. lee is the one. He is a very mean spirited doctor/man, the likes of which I have never experienced. I broke my ankle and unfortunately chose his practice to repair it, being near my home and convenient. He is very uncaring and has no compassion for his patients. I would NEVER recommend him as a physician or have anyone experience his verbal abuse. After 5 visits, I left in tears and will never return. I will find another orthopedist to complete my care. He even spoke ill of other orthopedists and basically called me a liar when I gave him my orthopedic history. Called another orthopedist a "cowboy" for completing a procedure. I am not sure of his knowledge. He never gives you any information on treatment or outlook. Staff was good. I feel for them and their work environment. He is an obviously a very unhappy, bitter man who needs a new profession.

3/28/11 5 5 1 4 I've never been inspired to search for a site like this to rate a doctor on...but after several appointments with Dr. Lee, here I am to say that although he seems to know his medicine, he has no knowledge on how to interact well with his patients (or their parents). Dr. Lee is rude and arrogant. His staff is great.

1/11/10 3 5 1 1 Horrible experience. He's very arrogant, condescending and nasty. I gave him the benefit of the doubt at first and thought he was having a bad day, but when he was just plain mean for no good reason, I knew it was time to find a different doctor. Find ANYONE but him! I've never had a more disrespectful experience. He also forgot what he had told me previously about waiting for healing to take place before doing a procedure and when I asked if it was still a possibility the next time I saw him, he treated me like an idiot and said that he wouldn't do that kind of procedure after the amount of time had passed.
