Dr. Halbbrecht and staff is truly a great team. In my 54 years of life I have come to appreciate great physicians. Dr. Halbbrecht is skillful, intuitive and a true healer. She is the best. I am grateful!

Dr. Halbrecht was good, she caught a fracture of my fibula that didn't show up on the X-Ray (she requested an MRI). My only complaint is that I was in and out in a flash and still got charged $40 just to walk in the door (plus what my insurance didn't cover). Pricey for the 5 minutes she spent there.

Dr. Halbrecht has preformed two surgeries on me, (shoulder and knee). Each time I received "excellent care" by her and her staff. She cared about me as a person and ensured I understoond the proceedures and answered all my questions. The Boulder Institute for Sports Medicine makes me feel as if I am the most important customer / patient they have for the day. Every doctor / business could take a lesson from Dr. Halbrecht about being conscientious to their patients / customers. Dr. Halbrecht can rest assured that her integrity and excellent care has ensured that I will recommend her to everyone I know.

Excellent with treating various sports injuries. On one (torn PCL), I expected an Ortho to go right to surgery as the solution, but she did not. Instead, she had me go to Physical Therapy and that compensated just fine for the missing ligament. She also did an ankle surgery which went perfectly. I would highly recommend her for her knowledge, explanations, providing options and understanding of each issue/option, and expertise.

I had a knee arthroscopy to remove a torn meniscus. I was very impressed with her professionalism and knowledge. Normally I expect the best orthos to be real jerks. No so, in this case. I recommend her wholeheartedly. I would go back in a sec (although I hope I never have to again!)

Dr. Halbrecht was the only surgeon who did not impose one style of surgical ACL repair. As an athete, I appreciated her listening to my needs and suggesting the best choice to support my needs. Her excellent work had me back running in twelve weeks, and today, my repaired knee is stronger than my "original".

Dr. Halbrecht performed an ACL repair on me. It turned out very well. She is an excellent surgeon and highly recommended. Her ACL repairs are among the best you will find anywhere. Do not hesitate to have her fix your torn ACL.

Doctor Halbrecht peformed two surgeries on me. One was an ACL repair in my knee and the other was to repair an torn labrum in my shoulder. She did a very good job with both. She answers all your questions, explains things so you have a full understanding of the procedure, and her office follows up after the surgery to see how you are doings. My brother had ACL surgery from another doctor and said that he didn't receive the type of care that I did and that I healed faster than he did. I would definitely recommend her
