Dr. Rand was very professional. He explained procedures in a very straightforward and open way and had many photos and examples to help me understand what I could expect. He was also realistic about expectations. The appointments always started on time. Dr. Rand put me at ease during appointments. I love the results and would recommend him.

I knew at my consult with Dr. Rand that he was the one to go with. He instantly put me and my husband at ease and I couldn't wait to schedule my Breast Augmentation. The day of surgery he was calming and I cannot say enough about the staff. My recovery was perfect - nearly pain free which I believe is because of Dr. Rand and his outstanding staff. He is extremely busy so we were slightly behind schedule for the surgery and follow up appointment but my results were beyond expectations. Thank you Dr. Rand!!

I can't say enough about Dr. Rand. I am extatic about the results of my tummy tuck. He not only listened to me patiently before surgery to make sure my questions were answered, but he went out of his way to make sure my recovery after surgery was smooth. I couldn't be happier with my new tummy and his care!

I came across Dr. Rand's Q&A Forum on Plastic Surgery on the Internet while researching face and neck lift procedures. Like so many, I am sure, I found myself immediately overwhelmed and intimidated by the abundance of information and procedures profiled on the Internet. I find myself with much regret that I do not live in Washington. I live in California. Dr. Rand and I started an extensive email dialogue in which he has served as amazing support in my quest for straight-forward knowledge -- no hype, no sales pitch, just sincere supportive information. Dr. Rand's extensive experience and impressive credentials allowed me to trust in the information he was willing to share with me completely on his own time. In the support he offered me, it was clear to me that his priority was not to market his own practice, but to accurately represent his profession.

Dr. Rand is the best. He took the time to listen to me to make sure that he and I were in sync with respect to my concerns and expectations. His surgical care and attention to detail are top notch. And his care after surgery is attentive and caring. He is a great plastic surgeon!!

I recently had breast surgery with Dr.Rand and was pleasantly surprised at his complete attention to me; previous experiences left me believing there were no expectations I should have about a Plastic Surgeons personability or bedside manner but Dr.Rand was incredible and my surgery turned out better than I could have ever dreamed...

One of the worst plastic surgeons in town. Just hope he doesn't make a mistake because he will never take ownership and fix the problem. He's in this business for the money. It's true that he can spue a lot of information but what good is that if he doesn't have an eye for symmetry and he's too egotistical to admit his mistakes? One of his interns once confessed that he has a very low opinion of women who undergo plastic surgery.

I was afraid to do plastic surgery and thought I would never do it in my life. I picked up an old magazine that I had from Seattle best docs. I saw his name and info and decided to go in to see him for the information. The best thing I ever did. He is quite the intelligent Doctor, someone you hope to find. I suggested all kinds of things and he said no to this and no to that but knew what would was the most important thing for me and what would make a difference in my life. No one in the office was pushy, everyone gave me respect and privacy. I was actually being listened to and was able to air everything that concerned me. He is a little higher than some docs but you know, you get what you pay for. I wanted the best because this is my body, I certainly did not want to repeat this procedure. I had a breast lift w/implants, tummy tuck and of course some botox to top it off. Thank you Dr. Rand I will make sure I refer you to all my girlfriends. Anna

I recently had my breast augmentation done by Dr. Rand and am extremely pleased with how well the results actually were. I was given realistic expectations to have by Dr. Rand regarding how my body/chest would look after the procedure and am happy to say that I got EXACTLY what I'd hoped for and was led to believe I could achieve through plastic surgery. The staff was awesome, my healing time was speedy and I was back to work in 7 days. I felt that Dr. Rand had been extremely gentle with me during surgery which resulted in zero bruising or excess discomfort. My breasts look fabulous and my scars are hidden and fading with each passing month. I have reffered countless friends to Dr. Rand and will continue to do so. I give him an A++++ and could not be happier with my results....Thanks Doc!!

I don't see how Dr. Rand's work could ever be "atrocious" especially when you realize how passionate this doctor is about his field of work, the satisfaction of his clients, and his continuous drive for perfection. The times I have been in to see him, I have been greeted by his welcoming staff who walked me through the decision process step by step. When I spoke with Dr. Rand about my designated procedure and what I wanted done, he was very knowledgeable and explained how doing less was better (for me). I was hesitant at first, but now I see how intelligent he is to make the decision he did. I am so satisfied with the work he has done, I feel like a new person with a greater self-image.

Dr. Rand is the best plastic surgeon, ever, anywhere! It made me nervous the day I had finally decided to go talk to a plastic surgeon about getting lypo. I went in and talked to Dr. Rand about my options. What I wanted to get done and what he thought I should get done were two different things. He explained to me why lypo wasn't a "fix" for loosing weight but more of a "corrector" for areas that were near to impossible to fix by loosing weight alone. I couldn't have been more happy with his advice, his surgery and his exceptional staff. I never felt pressured to do something I didn't want. I felt welcomed and I never felt uncomfortable. I was exremely surprised by my visit - I hope EVERYONE goes to Dr. Rand FIRST. I have heard horror stories from my friends getting plastic surgery from doctors without the "full" credentials. Dr. Rand has everything! And, we did surgery right in his office! His office is in the building next to Overlake Hospital. Choose Dr. Rand!

I personally will never go to any other Plastic Surgeon except for Dr. Rand. From day one his staff has been exceptionally nice and they bend over backwards to make sure I am pleased with their services. Originally I wanted a nose job and worked with Dr. Rand on examining my face structure and afterwards he determined that my nose was fine, I needed a chin implant! I am so satisfied with his work. I tell all my friends about it and nobody could even tell that I had anything done. I've also had Dr. Rand remove moles and skin tags from various parts of my body. In the follow up apointments Dr. Rand made sure everything healed right and you can truly tell that he cares about his patients. He is the most professional Doctor I have ever come across. I am planning on getting another surgery done with Dr. Rand in the next year.

This doctor is horribly outdated in his surgery techniques. The rhinoplasty he performed on me was atrocious. He didn’t fix anything he said he was going to fix and left me with a disfiguring incision scare that you can see from all angles. I had to go to another doctor within a year to fix his mistakes. He comes across as an authority in his field but he is anything but. He doesn’t care about you as an individual….all he cares about is making money off of you. He kept pushing off any responsibility by saying that the scarring would fade with time. Well years have past and I’m constantly reminded of the mistake I made in choosing Dr. Rand as my doctor. From the comments below I see that I'm not the only patient who got a raw deal.

he is very nice, thorough and did a good job. one of my earlobes was pulled very long in the facelift, he could have fixed that. eye job lasted 8 years, pretty good. pricey.

Dr. Rand was the most informative doctor I have met with in my region; I had several cosmetic issues to cover (here and there, head to toe) and he was open and honest about what could be improved and what was best left alone or improved by exercise. I believe he is a rare person/physician that would turn away extra $$ and be honest not hand me a checklist $$ of things based solely on what I want (even if it was unrealistic!). Any woman or man looking to find a fantastic surgeon NEEDS to look him up! I checked with his office recently and they are offering economic relief as well, how could you go wrong?

I had a cheek and neck lift done by Dr. Rand. The results were perfect for me! He is an outstanding surgeon and person and his staff are phenomenal. The best in my region for sure!

I met with Dr. Rand under circumstances that were slightly emergent, his warm welcome and comfortable conversation put me immediately at ease. I had visited with another doctor recently that was unable to help me in my situation (with what I wanted and needed). I have recommended Dr. Rand to all my friends looking for a fantastic plastic surgeon. I have had several additional treatments and another surgery since our first visit. THANK YOU DR. RAND AND STAFF!!!

When one of my implants that Dr Rand had inserted seemed smaller 4 years after the surgery,Dr Rand denied a leakage and said it was age related.Another opinion revealed leakage of the implant and it was also confirmed by the manufacturer.I chose the Dr. who confirmed my suspision and saw for myself the implant with the leakage.Dr. Rand was quite indignant when I said I thought it was leaking and was not very pleasant.

Dr, Richard Rand made an error in his procedure when injecting restylane under my right eye -- My eye puffed up and swelled -- He said "sometimes this happens but the swelling would disappear". It has been over a year and my right eye still has swelling. Dr. Rand refuses to see me or admit that he is responsible for the way I look. He suggest that I seek another Doctor. Even though he was paid more than the usual fee. He does not like anyone to complain. I believe, Dr.Rand is a good physican, but made an error when performing my procedure. What disapoints me is his not being able to take responsibility for his mistakes.

Dr. Rand is an excellent doctor; very well informed and knowledgeable, with an excellent bedside manner. His staff is also outstanding, very caring, reassuring and knowledgeable. Dr. Rand is an excellent surgeon who does beautiful work...he truly is an artist. His fees were higher than other physicians that I researched before my surgery, but he's worth every penny and more! He sought to understand exactly what I wanted and provided very sound advise and realistic expectations for my results. All in all, excellent!
