Dr Gavaris is a very kind and patient physician. I suspect he is an extremely good opthalmologist but I would not recommend him as a plastic surgeon for blepharoplasty. After he finished mine, I still had redundant tissue on the upper lids (one of the points of the surgery was to eradicate them). When I told him that I was disappointed he said that he left the hooding intact because removing it would give my eyes a "hollowed out" look. Ten months later I went to another plastic surgeon (Rosalie Bair MD) who excised the skin and it looks great.
