My mother is one of his patients and she is now extremly addicted to prescription pills. I have went to not only him and his nurse to express my concerns of the situation. I was told that I shouldn't be concerned with how he treats his patients. I have also informed him of her selling pills to buy that ones she wants and he responded with thats not true, which I might add I watched happen infront of me. Like others he sedates my mother every time she goes to his office which is about once a week. If you are looking for a good Dr. please choose someone other then him unless pills are all you are concerned with

The main reason why people wouldn't like him is because he has a quality that is no longer found in today's doctors. He is a doctor that cares, and today's patients are not used to that. If you want the quick fix that today medical system dictates, go somewhere else. If you want a doctor that will will look at all aspects of your medical condition, he is your man. Other doctors looked at my wife's symptoms as individual problems and treated them as such. Dr. Nabizadeh was the only doctor to connect them all together and see the bigger picture. There is no question that my wife wouldn't be alive today if it wasn't for him. Over the 8 years of being a patient he has treated her mind, body and soul. Because of her condition my wife will never be able to live a normal life, but as long as Dr. Nabizadeh treats her, she will be able to live a happy life. We are use to the same old ways of today medical system. He is an old school doctor. Go in with an open mind and be surprised.

Dr. Nabizadeh is a complete quack. First off neurologist shouldn't be giving botox injections. I went for a neurological complaint and among other things he tested me for diabetes for which I had no symptoms, no family history. When the test came back negative-he said it was wrong and wanted to do further testing. I was having an upcoming surgery to repair a bone in my hand and he tried to talk me out of it and finally he gave me 4 heavy duty pills in a test tube. No prescription, just handed them to me. I did not need these pills and it is illegal for him to dispense in this manner. Run don't walk out of his office.

I am one of many patients who travel a good distance. It is because I don't go to see him, but when I leave his office, he has seen me. He gives his patients, once you get in to see him, every minute each of them needs. His knowledge is very broad, he never hesitates to speak with my other doctors and is even humble enough to make a phone call right in front of you, if he feels he needs a question answered or a consultation. My New York City doctors think very highly of him and his commitment to patients.

He has convinced a family member that he should be the ONLY doctor she sees and yet she's still severely addicted to narcotics. When she starts having withdrawl symptoms, he takes her in for an IV of strong narcotics that make her halucinate. I have talked to him about it, to which he only insulted me and told me I was just stressing my family member out and why can't I be nicer? (HE was the one yelling, I was almost crying.)

Both my husband and I are patients of Dr. Nabizadeh's. My disabled son has seen him as well. A trusted pharmacist and friend gave me his name when my husband was having some serious neurological symptoms after a severe case of Shingles. He still has severe pain from the nerve damage but it's bearable after he started using 3-day pain patches along with two non-controlled medications. A year later I was having a lot of back pain. A primary care physician told me I had mild arthritis and referred me to physical therapy. I went to Dr. Nabizadeh for a 2nd opinion. After he ordered three MRIs of my back, I know why I am occassionally in so much pain caused from 3 conditions in my spine. Also, he is extremely intelligent and his brain is like a medical encyclopedia. He ordered blood test on all of us and both my husband and son are B-12 deficient and must take injections. The long wait to see him is well worth it. He's very kind and considerate...one in a million.

Got my mother addicted to pain medication.. She's in the hospital now because of it. The nurses have all complained about the amount of narcotics he prescribed. They said that he threatens to report them if they don't administer the high dosage that he prescribes, even when they're scared it'll knock the patient out! He is also very rude to me, although his staff is absolutely wonderful. I suppose he's great if you just want narcotics.

He saved my Life. I had been to what was advertised as Shans in Jax and UF in Gainesvilles best neurologists, I was not helped at all, I was told to "Live as Long as I can as best I can" I was given a handicapped Parking Sticker and no diagnosis. He did not accept that, he spent 3 hours pouring over MRI's and perscribed three medications to kick start a recovery, I did physical threapy in the water three to five times per week, and I am a new woman. I was weened off most of the medication and take, one medication only once a day. And another only as needed, very rarely. I was on 550.00 worth of meds weekly before him now 10.00 per week. He definitely is not in this for the money. He is a rare find today. Thank you, communicate with him he will listen. As for people adicted to medication, you will find them in every practice. Help your family member, go to an apt with them, he will help, I am sure he is unaware of her adiction, often people gets medication from more than one provider.

It does take forever to see Dr. Nabizadeh, on the day of your appt you may as well cancel any plans for that day. Dr Nabizadeh often forgets to write prescriptions that you discuss before a procedure then he moves to the next patient and you have to call the next day to get that straight and the staff acts like they are being bothered. I feel he does try to force alot of medication on you, and he always goes for the more expensive meds or I guess whatever the drug reps are offering him that month. He forgets things and gets me confused with other patients. He writes things in the chart that are not completely true such as him draping and using a sterile field for procedures. He does not do that and has just recently started using betadine. He does not wear gloves, nor do you ever see him wash his hands, he often gets side tracked leaving the treatment room, coming back and finishing the procedure, never washing his hands. Wanda also never wears gloves.

Although it takes a while to be seen at Dr. Nabizadeh's office it is worth it. For a while I had to see him once-twice a week for a nerve problem I had. Every single time I go into his office he spends a great deal of time with you and always listens. For years no one could figure out my migraines and one day in his office he figured it out just because he actually listened to me! His knowledge is incredible, he treats me for everything! He is a kind and sincere man and I don't know where I would be without Dr. Nabizadeh!!! PS if you have an appointment call the day of and ask how far behind he is and they will tell you when to come so then you never wait more than an hour.

This doctor is not after money. If he was you would be in and out the door in 10 minutes. The patient is also responsible for their medication intake and all too often patients become addicted. Blame the money-hungry pharmaceutical companies who market and promote all their pills.

Although some think that this is a great doctor he gives out prescriptions to whoever without having a diagnosis. I have a very close family memebr who has been under the care of Dr. Nabizadeh and thanks to him she is addicted to her prescription drugs that this quack of a dR. has prescribed her. She has ended up in the ICU unit due to possible overdose from these medications that Dr. Nabizadeh has prescribed her!! He is only after money!!!! Not for the patients health!!!

Dr. Nabizadeh is a great doctor who makes you feel comfortable the minute you walk in the door. You may have to wait to see him, but it is worth it. I think the reason for his tardiness has to do with the amount of time he spends with patients. His wife works in the office as well, wonderful and helpful woman. If you want in and out service from a cold, unempathic doctor, go somewhere else.

After dealing with migraines since I was a small child, he has been the ONLY doctor to actually care how I feel. He really takes the time (no matter how long) to find out how I feel. For the first time in my life I am not plagued by migraines everyday. He is extremely knowledgeable and caring. Furthermore, I have never seen him act rudely toward women or any other patient for that matter. I am a woman and he has always been very kind towards me. I would be lost without Dr. Nabizadeh! :)

For all of you who complained about this Doctor: He has nothing to do with the fact that someones medication cost over 800 dollars! In this day and age it is rare to find a Doctor who will spend more than 5 minutes with you. Dr.Nabizadeh (although he is a bit late at times) will spend an hour or longer with you if need be. He is an openminded man and a top notch Neurologist. I would strongly recommend him. However, you must be willing to wait to see him.

Dr. A. Nabizadeh has provided excellent care for my mother from the time of her strokes in 1998 to the present day. I would strongly recommend him to anyone in need of a first class Neurologist.

This doctor saved my child's life. He spent over an hour with us during every appointment, and followed up to make sure everything was ok. I had been to numerous psychologists in the past and none of them could help my child out. His personality is one of a kind.

Wonderful Man, No idea what these people are talking about. It isnt his fault that the prescription cost a lot. He cares deeply about everyone, and his personality and sarcasm are meant to be funny. He is incredibly smart and knowledgeable.

I had a stomach bug, after he missed the first 2 days (a day after I was admitted) he arrives for 5 minutes , writes me a prescription for nausia medicine that was 800 dollars for 20 tablets! I call and try to talk to him and his nurse/secretary rudely sucks her teeth and "sees what she can do" luckily the quack was able to change the script to something that was "only" 100 instead of 800. Thanks! Oh, it's not that he dislikes women, I am a male. I think he just dislikes patients.
