I am 21 years old and she treated me like I didn't know anything. My daughter was given Pulmicort for her asthma, which has triggered behavioral problems. When I confronted the DR. about this she refused to believe me and told me possible way that this could be. She said I was reading too much into steroids. My child heart rate went to 200 on this drug and I was told by the DR. that it does not speed up the heart b/c it does not enter the blood stream & only a pill would have that effect so if it doesn't increase heart rate why would my childs heart rate be 200! she assumed that my child behavior prob. was b/c she watches tv, and tv should be forbidden. I confronted her about ADHD and she told me it is up to me if my child has ADHD which is untrue b/c ADHD is GENETIC. She said ALL INFANTS START OUT WITH MONKEY BRAINS. She missed a double ear infection, and sent me to the hospital to run numerous tests on my child- until another DR.caught it. Bottom line don't go she is horrible!!!

I went to this a thru z pediatrics because my tricare covered it. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. This Dr. was so rude and hurt my son, not to mention was very rough with him (he's 3). Then, she degraded me. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. After all the belittling she did, and traumatizing my child, she try to convince me to buy her book! No way am I going back here. HELL NO. I would recommend Dr. Carlos Aeshchlimann just a few streets further. They have an excellent staff, VERY CLEAN waiting room (separated into sick and well sides) and the Dr. is always friendly and gentle with my son. Although Dr. Chintapalli was rude and negligent, some of her staff was extremely nice and helpful, doing all they could to sooth my toddler and make everything quick and painless.

On my visit to the doctor last week, the front desk employee was very rude. I stood by the window for about 5 minutes, before she knowledge the someone was standing there. She was talking on her personal phone with I believe her boyfriend, because she said to him I love you and I will call you later, after I finish with the parent at the window. Then she rudely asked me for my insurance card, after I had already giving it to her about 2 weeks ago when I first brought my child in. She said she did not have it on file, that it might of been misplaced. For being a pediatrician clinic it needs a lot of improvement. I will be transferring to another pediatrician clinic that will put their patients first, before themselves.

I chose Dr. Chintapalli because she had been my sibling's pediatrician. She was nice when she saw my baby at the hospital when she was born. When I took my daughter for her 1 week check up I ended up seeing Dr. Kachru she was excellent and my daughter loved her. They did always fit her in if I needed to take her.About the time she turned 1 I noticed a change in the office. The nurses would forget to document the shots and I was constantly having to go back, this final last time I took back the book,they had forgotten to fill in 4 shots! I was also concerned about an area on my daughter's privates that Dr. Munir said was a cyst. When I made this comment Dr. Chintapalli made me feel stupid saying there was nothing there, who had told me it was a cyst?talking to the trainee as if I were not there. That was the last straw. If the doctor is going to have 2 offices maybe she should have meetings so that everyone is on the same page. A dr would tell me to do one and the other another thing.

I thought the staff was very friendly and everyone in the office was helpful with all my questions and concerns. The MA was very compassionate to my child's nervousness and seemed very confident and knowledgeable. The Dr must be very popular because the office was full and my visit was a bit long. The extra time was worth the wait because the doctor was very efficient and answered all my questions and concerns.

8/6/08:A-Z Pediatrics on Ewing Hassell has very poor services. Furthermore there was a serious language barrier. The MA was very hard to understand and very rude and quick tempered. Provider was very rushed. Vaccinations and PPD were provided and no information was provided on the vaccination nor were f/u instructions given for PPD. There are 2 locations and there appears to be a rivalry between the Ewing Hassel & Stone Oak office staff. We will be changing providers.

She use to be my kids MD. about 3 years ago. She is OK I guess, and is true she preach her religious ideas an try to pull you to her spiritual practices.

I moved from Ca to Sa to Stone Oak in Jan08 I took app with Dr. Chintapalli she is OK Dr. but the Office in the Front desk ladies is SHA and Billing lady is DIN are very RUDY. Dr C knows who these ladies are I really sick of these two ladies front desk she does not want give the app and in the same time billing ladies I pay my co pay still I get bill a lot of bills from her office for no good reason then I call my bc/bs they say that not all the times they receive the bill from her office I went to see Dr. C on Feb08 so far the insurance did not receive any bill from her office and in the same time she put my 3 kids accounts FLAG I think billing lady does not know what she is doing, instead she is very Rudy and argues with me lot which she did mistake not doing her job instead correcting these ladies I am going to move from this office. This is the first time in my life I getting problems in Dr. Office. I enquired other friends also they are also moving processing.

I am regularly pt to Dr. C for 14 years, but I am thinking about to change because of several reasons the front in the both the office are very veryyyyyyy rude now a days I am having problem with Dr Chintapalli also she is also very rude to me she always rushing to see other patients and she does not licensing concerns about my child. Now a day I did not get any bill which I visited on Jan 2008 then I called my Insurance they said that they did not received any bill from Dr. Chintapalli’s OFFICe or A THR Z pediatrics!!! I am in a process of changing Dr. and I told several friends also this incident so they are also facing the same thing so bottom point is everyone is changing the Dr. Chintapalli she does not have any manners at all.

She is worst pediatricians i saw. She misdiagnosed several times for which i have to hospitalize my child. She never refers to all medical records and diagnose but just orders all tests.I am going to change quickly.

Dr. Meena Chitapalli is an excellent Doctor. She is very compassionate, kind, caring and very very knowledgeable in her field. The fact that she does preach religion and nutrition is a very good factor. She is wise beyond most Pedatrician Doctor's. I would reccomend her to anyone and think she is a wonderful lady. Our family loves her very much. It's unfortunate that when people don't get their way, or don't have patience and understanding that they try to destroy one's character such as the comments on this website. It is very disappointing that our society would post such negative, rude comments and remarks!

NEVER on time for appointments! I waited in the lobby for 2 hrs one day! She can be perceived as rude, because she is blunt in her diagnoses. She preaches religion to clients. She diagnosed my children with all these illnesses and have not offered a reasonable treatment plan or referrals. Additionally, I have a hard time getting their medications refilled also. I would not recommed her to anyone; and I am currently looking for another pediatrician.

This woman should not be practicing medicine. She preaches her religous views and her opinions are unfounded. She has no bedside manner and runs a very unprofessional business.

Dr. Chintapalli was able to heal my daughter when no other professional doctor could figure it out. She was wonderful to all three of our children and to me as a mother and wife. She is excellent in medicine, especially pediatrics. Alovely wonderful healer working for honor to God.

Dr. C is very loving toward her patients. I would highly recommend to any parent looking for a caring doctor for their child. This doc is very educated and spends extra time with her patients. Wish there were more like her for children :)
