:( Click to report rating    10/13/08 1 1 1 Nice the first time I saw him, but downhill after that. I actually had to run after him as he walked away to see another patient, calling after him regarding what I should do about my pelvic pain. How he went from OK to awful I'll never know. My friend, whom I referred to him after my first visit, found him terrible. I didn't want to refer people to my docs any more after that.

:( Click to report rating    7/22/08 2 2 1 This doctor in my opinion is by far the worst.I went to him through a recommendation of a friend who had an uncomplicated preg.and because my ins.changed and my original doctors were not under the plan. My preg.was complicated unlike my friend. This would have been my 2nd child unfortunately I delivered a 9 month stillborn under his supervision. I had blood clots in my placenta during my first preg. which were kept under control with a baby aspirin and was carefully monitored.I advised Dr. Abrahams of all of this plus had all my records sent to him which showed blood work taken during my 1st preg. that showed 2 pos genes of MTHFR which shows I have a tendency to clot. He said I had no clots during the preg.but during my 20 wk. sono the tech.wrote down on the report the measurements of suggestive placenta lakes. This was never addresed again by him or a tech.I wonder if Dr. Abrahams was even reading the reports? Even with all my history he did nothing to prevent this from happening.

:( Click to report rating    3/17/08 5 1 1 Dr Abrahams delivered my first child after a blissful pregnancy. I got to the hospital after my water broke at 6 PM while the labour had started 16 hours earlier. I was only dilated 1cm while my contractions were 100% and about 3mn appart. He got there at about midnight after being called several times as my baby's heart rate dropped once.No kind words, just CLEARLY upset that he had to come back for my delivery as he was there earlier. I understand that I was not dilating but still. My husband told him TWICE TO HAVE A SONOGRAM done to which he replied that it would not be necessary. As a result: 19 hours of labour after my water broke, and a C-section to find out that my baby had the ombylical cord around his neck which explains why he was not dropping and I was not dilating. The post-op was also quite epic but basically think twice before seing this doctor. During my pregnancy I wanted to change but once I was five to 6 months, other doctors were reluctant to take me so far along.

:| Click to report rating    12/20/07 3 2 1 This Doctor delivered my first child two plus years ago. I found him to be severely condescending, and impatient. A first time pregnancy has enough stress, a rude and judgmental doctor should not be tolerated. I once left his office in tears! His bedsick manner definately sucks!!!

:( Click to report rating    3/7/07 3 1 I was very disapointed with my experience in Dr. Abrahams office. The staff was rude, unpleasant and misinformed. I was told inaccurate information and was scheduled for needless appointments when the necessary equipment was not even at the office!! The Doctor actually forgot what he perscribed to me when I asked a question about it on the following visit (a prenatal vitamin which I would expect an OBGYN to be somewhat familiar with). Overall not a good experience, and when I switched to a different Doctor in the middle of my pregnancy (because I was no longewr comfortable going to that office) I realized what having a good Doctor meant and just how unprofessional that entire office really was.

:( Click to report rating    3/7/07 2 2 At times I questioned who was the Dr. I never received answers to my questions & concerns or direct orders. He went around and circles. Very unprofessional. Dr. Abrahams is not a bad person but hes not a good doctor either. I'm sorry but as a doctor there are standards you should meet & he doesn't. The staff is horribly rude, unorganized and can not seem to get anything done. Its common for a simple fax to take weeks or longer. This is a sad place to call a doctors office.

:| Click to report rating    12/23/06 5 3 A good doctor. Knows his stuff but not proactive at all! If you don't know what needs to be done or checked for it dosn't get checked. No call backs on Mamo's or follow up on tests done! A little too laid back for me.

:) Click to report rating    4/21/06 5 5 I have been going to Dr. Abrahams for at least 10 years. He always makes me feel very calm and at ease. He is very relaxed which I think helps a great deal. He also delivered my first baby and he was wonderful!
