Dr. Surmeli is THE BEST! I had my other children before moving to NJ and was nervous to have anew Dr. Well, Dr. surmeli just delivered my third child (3rd c -section)and this was the best experience yet. He is patient, knowledgeable and laid back. A+++++

Dr. Surmeli is without a doubt the best OBGYN a patient could ever ask for. He is thorough, professional and genuinely caring. He delivered both of my children and has also seen me for regular routine visits. Unfortunately for me I relocated with my family to NC and am not able to continue in his care. I often joke that if I should become pregnant again I would have to move back to NJ temporarily to have Dr. Surmeli deliver my baby! Best doctor and practice (Dr. Sadural and Wimmer are also awesome). Highly recommend going to this practice.

Best Doctor ever!!! i've been seeing him since he started and although there are 4 other doctors in the office, i see him everytime! Not only is he a great doctor, but very personable and friendly. I'm always a nervous wreck when i see the gyno, and he always can make you feel comfortable within minutes. Also, when you call him, he returns your phone call and he'll stay on the phone to answer every single question you have.

Dr. Surmeli is wonderful! He is has an easy going manner and is extremely professional and polite. As we ladies know, going to the gynocologist is not the most pleasant experience. Dr. Surmeli immediately puts his patients at ease. He listens to their concerns and is willing answer any questions. There should be more doctors like him! On the down side, the office staff don't always answer the phone. Often, the answering service picks up when the office is supposed to be open. Waiting time is too long. I wait at least 30 - 45 minutes for a scheduled appointment. I understand that Dr. Surmeil is both a GYN and an obstetrician, but it would be helpful if the office staff would tell patients when doctor is running late.

TRULY amazing, when I was in labor all I wanted was him there because he is so calming and understands everything. Makes you feel at ease just by his presence. Recomment him to EVERYONE! The most helpful , sweet doctor you will EVER meet!

He is the best of the best. Works quickly and efficiently and knows his stuff. Makes sure you're as comfortable as possible even under the most uncomfortable of situations. I hightly recommend him!
