:( Click to report rating    10/22/08 5 3 1 1  In the office he was brusque and self-righteous; in the delivery room a medical****. To my horror this doctor was on duty when I arrived at ACRMC Mainland Division in labor. He stood idly by as I was FORCED onto my back and verbally abused by a midwife. I was hooked up to a continuous fetal monitoring system for about ten minutes when he said I HAD to have an emergency cesarean. If there was a real problem, they caused it. Baby and I were fine when we arrived. I didn't even get to push. I have post-traumatic stress disorder because of Dr.Bergen. After the surgery he couldn't give me a medical reason why it was needed only that "sometimes these things happen..." and "at least you have a healthy baby". (The latter of which is one of the worst things you can possibly say to a woman who has been surgically gutted for all the wrong reasons, especially when that baby happens to still be in the NICU because of the anesthesia).

:) Click to report rating    12/10/07 5 5 5 5  Dr. Bergen is the best OB/GYN in the ARMC maternity wing. He is professional and expects a lot of the nursing staff. His staff takes great care of his patients and they remember you, too. You are not just a number.

:) Click to report rating    9/22/06 5 5 5  GREAT SERVICE...Friendly staff, punctual, caring, etc...I even had to awake the doctor twice one night with concerns...and even at 3am he was very nice to me.

:|      1/11/06 3 3 3  Staff is HORRIBLE and RUDE. Doctor runs test without letting patient know which resulted in money I had to pay out of pocket for a test that I didnt consent too. Saw this doctors office once and will never go back. VERY RUDE on the phone!
