Said she knew my diagnosis within 10 minutes of talking to me. Put me on 3 heavy duty meds and when I called to say my condition was worsening, she did nothing to help me. I ended up coming off all 3 cold turkey and wound up detoxing in a hospital DO NOT go to this doctor.

She is taking care of our 15 year old daughter. She has done a great job. Our daughter is much better. Would highly recommend her.

I had an appt Oct 12 w Dr Waterhouse. My gyn, my sister and I contacted her office requesting my appt be moved up with no response or acknowledgement from her office. Today, I was notified that my Oct 12 appt had been canceled and Dr Waterhouse had "changed her mind" in accepting me as a new patient. Dr Waterhouse needs to reevaluate her process and delivery for contacting potential patients. Extremely unprofessional. I would never recommend a friend or family member to seek advice from her or her staff.

Caring, and helps keep concerns to be addressed in track. Patient while listening, and very quick to understand. Also very open to adjustments as she hears more and if experiences have changed or come to light with more insight. Wonderful and trustworthy, always leave feeling I am in good hands.

Dr. Waterhouse was rude and incredibly cold -- and wrong in her assumptions about our child's care, we learned later from another psychiatrist. Our child recovered fully after she received cognitive behavioral therapy and was tapered slowly off several medicines prescribed by Dr. Waterhouse.

Dr. Waterhouse is the worst doctor that i have ever experienced!! She is RUDE! Furthermore, she does not listen to the patient; rather, she makes assumptions and jumps to conclusions that are completely wrong. I used to leave there feeling so upset because of the way she treated me and that she heard only what she seemed to want to hear. She charges a lot of money but is NOT worth it. Now, I have a Psychiatrist who listens to me and the medications that I am on actually help. STAY AWAY from "Dr" Heather Waterhouse

Dr. Harris was very knowledgable and kind; however, lacks reguard for confidentiality. I was very surprised to read on other MD website reviews (vitals) that other patients feel the same way I do, and are equally offended.

After YEARS of searching, my children finally have an EXCELLENT psychiatrist. I am from Chattanooga & met Dr. Harris while my daughter was in the epilepsy monitoring unit at VUMC. She was amazing, & we have never seen another psychiatrist since. She is worth every mile we drive. My daughter has multiple medical & developmental disabilities as well as mental illness. We have taken her to more than a dozen drs. in Chatt w/o getting an accurate diagnosis or treatment. Although my daughter had to be hospitalized this spring, Dr. Harris was always available & today, thanfull my daughter is ALIVE, stable & doing well. I have Dr. Harris to thank for this. My son is her patient; he is SO much better mentally and functionally. Our family cannot say enough about the level of care we have received from Dr. Harris. We have friends from Chatt. who have also experienced the same care. She is one in a million.
