Just saw the doctor today for first time on advice of my internist and found him to be very patient with me, very thorough, answered all of my questions even before I asked them and provided me options empowering me to help make important decisions on how to appraoch my symptoms. I agreem with the vast majority of people who rated Dr. Lepor that he was an exceptional physician. While in his waiting room I asked some of his older patients about him and they raved about him. Not sure what planet that previous rater was from or maybe it is a competitor, but I can attest to my positive experience and the only test he recommneded I have now as a simple EKG(sp) and ultrasound. I usually hate going to see doctors, but this experience was as good as it gets.

A charlatan. Scans you for money and reccommends medically unnecessary tests. Would avoid.

The first place that was able to tell me what my vascular age was. They also did great job of helping me lose 60lbs. He has a nutritionist and hypnotherapist as part of their program and also referred me to a trainer. The also did a full body vascular imaging with combinations of ultrasound and 64 slice CT and looked at my aorta, arteries to my heart, brain and legs. Also were able to tell me how stiff my arteries were. This place was unbelievable, worth the flight from Houston.

Just saw Dr. Lepor today. Had excellent experience in his office and with the doctor. His staff did a good job of getting me scheduled, reminding me of appointment and even doing the insurance authorization for my stress test. Hopefully I will get news at the end but if not, I know I am in the best of hands. Found out about him from my internist.

I have known Dr Lepor as a medical colleague for 20 years. He has had a reputation at Cedars-Sinai as the "Doctor's Doctor". On the way to work, I had chest pain for the first time ever. I had a feeling something was really wrong. Well within 30 minutes I was in his office had that life saving 64 slice CT scan that he pioneered and had a stent put into my left anterior descending artery within 3 hours and since then I have been doing great. I just cannot say enough about Dr. Lepor, his staff and facilities

Just cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Lepor. I have referred my husband, mother and friends and all have been happy. He has all this great diagnostic testing equipment in his office that is so convenient. His staff works hard and they even get insurance companies to authorized tests. I know he went to John Hopkins, the best medical school and he teaches doctors. Saw him written up in the LA Times a few years ago as "Doctors Doctor:.

I had really bad chest pains, my doctor and I thougt something bad was happending and my doctor gave me 3 names of cardiologists. I had my doctor show me on the internet who they were. Dr. Lepor seemed to be the most accomplished but figured he would be too busy to see someone like me. First two would not see me as I have Medical cannot aford insuranc . Dr. Lepor's office had me seen that same day, they did not even ask me what my insurance was when I called. Even though he does not take Medical he saw me found my problem with his special heart CT scan and believe it or not had me in the hospital within 5 hours and put a stent in my coronary artery that same day and saved my life. I felt bad that my emergency made others who were seeing the doctor that day wait, and I say sorry to them but thank god he was there and had a heart to save some poor lady like me. I told him I hope that I will not have to see him like this again, he said if you listen to my advice I probably wont have to.

I saw Dr. Lepor 2 weeks ago. My intern referred me to him because of my family history of heart disease. I waited 10 minutes in the waiting room, which I find reasonable. Because I have high cholesterol, and family heart disease, he did recommend that I have a ct scan which showed that I have early athresclerosis (spelling). I am now on lipitor and per his suggestion exercising. I found him very professional knowledgable and nice.He returned my phone calls promptly.

I've known him since he was a resident, and have always adored him. He's a fantastic doctor, but I really hate sitting in his waiting room for one or two hours. His staff will never, ever bother to tell you that you will be waiting, or how long it will be.

Dr. Lepor is arrogant and should be avoided. The tech in his office was polite but didn't seem very familiar with equipment. Dr Lepor took three weeks to return numerous calls I made trying to get my test results. For very mild arterial plaque he tried to get me to go on statins without even bothering to learn my cholesterol or blood pressure. I'm not saying that statins would not be part of the treatment. I just think a good doctor would want to know your cholesterol before putting you on a cholesterol-reducing drug.

A genius with a heart. Could not believe that I came into his office at 10:30AM with a problem others could not figure out and when I left that day after being tested he had figured things out. It has been about 2 weeks since I saw him and I am finally able to walk outside without becoming breathless. Ends up, I was at a party and would you beleive, there were at least three people there who had similar positive experience with Dr. Lepor

Have just returned to my home in Israel having been treated by Dr. Lepor. Since he saved a chief rabbi here in the Holy Land, he has become the "go to" cardiologist among our group. Very satisfied with his work and would recommend him without any reservation.

I had an angioplasty with medicated stents some months before a report surfaced first, from France and a couple of weeks later from the U.S. that medicated stent patients had higher heart attack risks than patients who had bi-pass operations. More than mildly curious, I immediately called my then cardiologist, left word and received no return call. This repeated for three weeks running. Finally, I called my internist for a reference to another cardiologist. He referred me to Dr. Lepor. An appointment was set for five weeks hence, and then, after a few days, Dr. Lepor's office called and said they could fit me in immediately. I was seen promptly and was delighted by Dr. Lepor's professionalism. Most assuringly, he told me that were he to do the angioplasty today, he would still have used medicated stents in my case. He further reassured me as to the evolving protocol for medicated stents and made me comfortable for the first time in weeks with having had the procedure.

Dr. Norm is a genius, actually beyond genius. He defines beyond; an easy, real manner. Way light on the ego. He knows he's the best, comfortable with it and no need to feed it. Regardless of his formidible talents, he's the model of what a doctor of any kind should be. He saved my life and I am proud to consider him a friend.

I was referred to Dr. Lepor by internist because I had a very difficult problem and I was told he had a great mind and the most up to date and modern diagnostic equipment. He was also associated with Cedars Sinai hospital. His office has this special machine that does noninvasive angiograms called a 64 slice CT that no one in the area has. He lived up to all of my expectations and even exceeded them He opened up three of my arteries with stents after I was turned down by another cardiologist. The nurses were also great, if there was one negative comment it was that the girls in the front were not as friendly as they should have been. She did keep my on hold for longer then I would like and they did not smile much or act very warm when I as in the office. The doctor deserves better from them. Howewer I must say that my overall experience with the Dr. Lepor was really amazing and I thank him and god that I am doing really, really well.
