3/5/13 3 2 2 3 I was referred to Dr. Walton by my Primary care doc for sinus issues and possible nasal polyps. Dr. Walton barely looked into my nose and told me there weren't visible polyps (I can see them and so could my primary care doc). Then told me I would need a CT scan to confirm. My ins requires a peer to peer review before approving the CT scan and Dr. Walton refuses to talk with the ins company for the review. The solution that his office offered was that I just pay the $400 cost out of my own pocket so that they would not have to talk with my insurance company and do the p to p review. They were not helpful in the least and seemed to be very happy with my decision not to pay for the scan out of pocket and to try to find a doctor that can be bothered with my medical needs. I would NEVER recommend this doctor or this office.

1/30/13 3 3 2 3 I caught an infectious disease in my nose as a result of an office visit. Office staff could not communicate, or even pronounce, the names of the things a diagnosic test was supposed to find or explain why I needed the tests. I had to their lab call to explain what the procedure was for and how it would be done. The doctor was very brief at the time of my visit and left it to his staff to explain what I needed to do. Dr. Walton might be a great doctor but neither he nor his staff did not demonstrate the kind of care and professionalism that I would want in my doctor or his staff.

12/11/12 2 1 1 5 I would say try any other doctor before Mark Walton. He has NO BED SIDE MANNER. I asked him some questions he made me feel like they were stupid questions and he never answered them. He gives you no heads up what he is going to do to your ear just does it, I have seen him for four years and every visit I had to wait one to two hours before being seen.

12/23/11 4 4 5 5 In my opinion,Dr. Walton is amazing. I went to him a few years ago with ear problems and he resolved those issues immediately. What is amazing is that based on this exam he insisted I be checked for diabetes; something my family physician had not suggested even though I had given him several of the warning signs of diabetes. Well,I found out from the test I had Type 2 diabetes. Who would ever think that an ear exam could result in a pre-diagnosis for diabetes! I think this Dr. is truly amazing.  Respond

7/22/10 4 4 5 5 I was fortunate to have Dr. Walton--he accurately diagnosed my thyroid cancer--I had no symptoms that I noticed. He removed my entire thyroid, 1 night in the hospital, 2 weeks off of work. I now feel wonderful and grateful that he saved my life.

7/17/07 5 5 5 5 Dr. Walton placed ear tubes for both of my children and our lives changed significantly (for the better). He needs to work on his bedside manner, but he is a great surgeon.
