6/16/12 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Ok so I know the price isn't cheap but then I figured my health is the most important thing so why risk it? Turns out Dr. Schleider was worth every penny. I have had him as my primary care doctor for years and would never change it. I first saw him for a severe medical problem in 2006 and not only was he punctual and knowledgeable, but he also had a perfect bedside manner. He was caring and followed up to check on my physical and mental state given the severity of my diagnosis. I have stayed faithful to him ever since and have never been disappointed. It is also worth mentioning that I am psychologist, also in the mental health field, and every time I go into Dr. Schleider's office, he is always reading the most up to date medical journals. It comforts me to know he makes it a point to stay current with the ever changing field of medicine. Basically, if you can't tell, I am a HUGE fan of Dr. Schleider and his staff and encourage anyone who cares about their health to invest in him.-JF | Respond |

Dr. Schleider probably saved my life more than 3 times. I have been seeing him for over 5 years...predictably he is a genius diagnostician...and knows exactly what the problem is since he takes as long as it takes to figure it all out. I have spent over an hour with him...just giving him symptoms...and he is always correct with diagnosis and prognosis. He is truly an unsung hero.

He was able to put my 2yr old son at ease enough to allow him to give him his physical and the last series of his vaccination shots. It's good to know there's a doctor my son is comfortable with and can do a house call if needed. It's pricey but totally worth it for my son. M.P. | Respond |

We never have to wait, he is professional, knowlegeable and provides top notch service that is unrushed! I'd pay any thing not to have to wait in an emergency room for hours! Or sometimes the secetary says the doctor will get back to you and he does like 2 days later or never, well Dr. Schleider has direct access through his mobile phone and provides service that is truly second to none. I would reccommend his practice to anyone that is looking for little something extra that is so hard to find now a days. I was feeling awful detoxing from prescription painkillers. Everywhere I called said they could see me in a month! I would have been a corpse by then...Dr. Schleider saw me that day, showed me how to trasnistion to Suboxone, and now I'm pill free. I promise smoking is next doc, my new years resolution!

I was in New York for vacation in January 2008 and developed a serious sinus pressure/ear problem the day I landed from California. In my excruciating pain, Dr. Schleider was willing to see me within a few hours and was very knowledgeable and also listened to my symptoms, and then referred me to a specialist. He called often to check up on me and when he was out for the weekend and I needed a second visit, he found another qualified physician to treat me for a follow-up. Their cost was $400 a visit and very worth it. The first visit was at the office, the second, the physician came to where I was staying. He truly treats his patients with care, respect, and sensitivity. He does not presume to diagnose unless he is certain and helped me understand my options being so far away from home and needing to see a specialist. He also gave careful consideration to my financial situation being that i was away from home and outside my healthplan coverage. In the end, Kaiser reimbursed me for 95%.

My father is an elderly gentleman of 90 who has a history of stroke, chf, hypertension - the list goes on. He had been hospitalized several times over a period of several months. Now I was facing another medical emergency requiring immediate action. My panic was to find a doctor who made housecalls to replace his present family doctor. Luckily, I was referred to New York House Call Physicians by my neurologist. Upon contacting Dr. Schleider, it was apparent that I was speaking with an extremely knowledgeable and experienced physician. He immediately took charge of the situation, making certain that my father's quality of life was not compromised in any way. Dr. Schleider kept me abreast of my father's medical condition. He was also there for me during my moments of confusion and despair. We are most fortunate to have Dr. Schleider as our family physician. | Respond |

I had an emergency and he changed his schedule around to accomodate me. Usually when I have any questions regarding my treatment I have to speak with a doctors assistant or even some times a receptonist, but with Dr. Schleider, he peersonally answered any questions I had and even called me back after business hours to make sure I was feeling better. This level of service is something I am not used to when it comes to medical care. In a time when doctors are overworked and seemingly inaccessible, it is refreshing to have a doctor like Dr. Schleider who makes you feel like you are his only patient!! 3/27/06 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Dr.Schleider saw my grandmother who had pneumonia and was petrified of the emergency room. He did a house call which I didn't even know doctors still do! He was right on time and did an ekg, xrays, got her oxygen, and gave her antibiotics. She was feeling better within hours. I had to rate him after his courteous follow-up calls and his patience in answering my and my family's zillion questions over the phone. Wonderful doctor, great service! | Respond | |
