Developed a post op infection, cultured Group B Beta Strep. Told by Dr. Imtiaz that is an organism that you can get off a countertop, I needed to clean my house. I self referred to an Infectious Disease Dr., Grp B Beta Strep is common flora from vagina and my infection was related to my hysterectomy. I was given the improper dose of antibotics, the surgical wound opened in two different areas requiring twice daily packing for 4 weeks, the scarring in these two areas is unsightly and Dr.Imtiaz is failing to report this as a post-op infection. She has poor surgical skills, is not honest with her patients, when questionrf is kurt and defensive. I would not recommend her as a Physician or Surgeon. She is not accountable for her actions and tries to minimizes her mistakes. Find a better physician and/or cosmetic surgeon

I do not recall her, herself, being unprofessional. She seemed very knowledgable about childbirth, an delivered my middle child. She made sure I had several ultrasounds, and even scheduled one toward the end of my pregnancy - - to make sure my daughter wasn not too large for me to deliver naturally. However, I did have a lot of problems with her staff. They didn't seem to be up front about how much I would have to pay for my pregnancy. The nurses also seemed to be rude toward me, leaving the examination door open, and also telling me to take all of my clothes off for an appointment that did not require a pap smear or breast exam. I moved on to another doctor, because I couldn't see her for an appointment. They wanted to schedule me with a nurse practitioner on hand.

This doctor is a rip off. They do not tell you about their billing policies until you are in the middle of your pregnancy. They want to charge you in advance for delivery and they make you sign an agreement that you are responsible for any amount not covered by insurance. Since they tell you about it after 3 visits it you are stuck with them and end up paying a lot more. Also, the billing is way too much. The insurance declined most of their claims. Their policy states that they want you to pay 4600 dollars in advance. And as I mentioned they will take out any money not covered by insurance from this amount. That is wrong because there is an agreement between doctors and insrance companies that the services will be provided at rates determined by both parties. However, Dr Imtiaz office is violating this rule by charging the patients the amount not covered by insurance. The doctor is not bad. She is actually nice unlike most comments.

I have had 3 pregnancies with Dr. Imtiaz & am currently on my 4th pregancy. I do agree that Dr. Imtiaz appts normally run late. I have waited up to 45 minutes to see her, but I do understand that she is a OB that actually delivers babies & can not know when a child will be born. I try to take that into consideration & would want her delivering my child instead of taking appts! Aside from tardiness, Dr. Imtiaz is patient and kind. She is very thourough and answers all my questions. I also agree that some staff is harsh at times, but over all I feel that Dr. Imtiaz geniunely cares for her patients and their children.

Dr. Imtiaz and her staff have always been nice to me during my well woman exams and my pregnancy check-ups. What is really bad though is the wait time. 90% of the time, I have waited at least an hour from my appointment time. Why don't they adjust their scheduling? They must know that everyone is seen at least an hour late. I can always see the frustration from everyone's faces while waiting.

I had to find a new doctor when I was into the 8th (!) month of my pregnancy, I was so tired of waiting and rescheduling the appts, because she was CONSTANTLY on an emergency, so I had to see a nurse or reschedule the appt. thus not being able to stick to the required schedule. Her stuff is unprofessional, they left messages on my phone to confirm my appointment but when I'd show up the next day they make me pay cash ( they dont' even take debit cards) and AFTER that they'd say "Oh, by the way, Dr. Imtiaz is on an emergency, so you'll be seen by the nurse practitioner" . It took me forever to get my medical records from her office when I decided that I had enough, and it was good that I decided not to have them faxed to my new docttor's office but hand-delivered them. I was in shock when I looked at my medical records: according to them I had accute bronchitis (when I complained about sinus problems), supposedly I suspected myself for STDs atevery check-up, AND it said I

I have seen Dr. Imtiaz for 7 years now, she has delivered my two boys, and we are working on our third pregnancy with her right now. She has always been very friendly with me and my husband and the staff has been accommodating as well. There have been times where the wait is long, but you can’t always depict exactly when there will be a baby born. For unexpected visits or visits with in a short time I have usually seen the NP, she is great also!! I know the practice is becoming too large for the space they occupy now, that may play a part in the waiting issue. They are moving to a bigger location this fall. I would and have recommended her to friends and family.

I thought I was dying from extremely severe vomiting and dehydration in my pregnancy. I made an emergency appt. to see her for help. I was barely able to even walk into the office, I was so sick. The dr.'s response was "I don't know what to tell you" and then she asked my husband "if he was angry at ME for being so sick?". I left and never went back.

I've been to Dr. Imtiaz several times and haven't been satisfied that I was getting the best care. When you go into the waiting area I noticed it wasn't very clean. Then I went into the exam room and there were nicks and splashes of stuff all over the walls. Some monitors had dust on them and I felt like she didn't put cleanliness as a priority which I feel is very important. Then I've had some instances where her office was suppose to call me back and did not. When I asked why it took them longer they got upset and became very rude with me. I feel like she is in a hurry and isn't really, genuinely interested in what is actually going on in my body. I recently had some issues and needed to leave a message with the nurse. I had to leave it with the receptionist up front which made me uncomfortable and then I asked how long it would take them to resond because I was very incomfortable and the receptionist said they'd call me back in 24 hours. I found a new doctor that actually cares!

There has never been a less professional MD. My impression of her is that her defensiveness when you ask her about her tardiness or question her diagnosis is that she has no confidence in her abilities. That is why she is so passive-aggressive. I suspect that the good comments on this site were written by her, because I know that the bad ones are true (I went to her twice as a GYN patient and found her over an hour late, rude and defensive BOTH times. I cut my losses and found someone qualified).

I waited for over 2 hours in the waiting room for an exam that took 20 minutes. When I asked the doctor "Is this a busy day for you." She stated, "No, not at all. Why do you ask? and I told her my appointment was at 9:45am and now it is 12 noon when she completed the exam."

I will never see Dr. Imtiaz again. I was recommended to her by my PCP for my well woman check up last year. She was extremely rude to me when I went to see her, after waiting forever in the office. She left the door open when I was half undressed and allowed nurses to walk in and out as they pleased through my exam! It was very embarrassing. Also, the nurses were rude and abrasive with me and when they called with my test results, they said she "made a mistake" and had to do it again. I told them I didn't have the money to do that test again for her mistake and wouldn't be going back. However, they called me every day for 2 more weeks after I told them that! Don't EVER see her!

What an abrasive person! She was recommended to me by a friend. I visited her 5 times and kept thinking "maybe I am unlucky and just got her on a bad day", but no, I was ALWAYS shown to a consulting room at least 20 minutes late, and then had to wait at least another 10 minutes alone. She appears to really hate the impertinance of people who dare to ask her questions. I know this seems harsh, but this really how she makes you feel. When you call the office, you are almost always put on hold, and I have never yet rececieved a kind "sorry for the wait" or "how can I help?". Further, after 5 appointments and 4 seperate tests (this is largely all she did was come in, lok at me and tell me to get tests, and then we'd talk), I gave up and went to a different doctor. I went to Dr Luis Rodruisgez on Fannin, and within 2 appointments he had diagnosed more than this doctor did in 5 visits, and with real, direct examination (i.e. did the work rather than sending me anywhere else for tests).

I had to wait half hour after my scheduled appointment time to see the doctor...she breezed in for a few min...and was in a rush to get out...she was not ready to listen or empathize with me..when I had some more questions to ask she came in after I waited for another 10 minutes with a sandwich in hand and mouthful I asked for some recommendations for another specialist that I wished to see and she said she doesn't know anyone...I felt awful after walking out of the clinic that I dropped into tears...

I would never recomend this Dr. to anyone she doesen't care about the patients. I was misdiagnosed with 2nd stage of cervical cancer, she also caused a severe brachial plexus injury to my infant. He's twelve months and has not regained full movement of his arm. If you choose this doctor GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!

i was misdiagnosed, medicated with antibiotis (when there wasn't a need for them, i had no infection), and she performed unnecessary testing. i felt like a lab rat in her office and just another way for her to make her mortgage payment that month! she doesn't care about her patients- she didn't spend but 5 minutes with me after i had to wait an hour and a half past my time of appointment I was misdiagnosed and mistreated altogether! her staff is horrible, they all have an attitude....nobody there is pleasant about ANYTHING....and they act like you're bothering them when you call!

Dr. Imtiaz is rushed and does not take time with her patients. I feel like a number and I do not feel like my pregnancy is treated with care and concern. This is my second child with her and I will find a new Dr. for my third.

I was told by Dr. Imtiaz that I was high risk but then took a month to hear anything back from her. I am no w in my ninthmonth and have had to wait 6 wks for an appt. The office takes an average of two days to return my phone calls; they are very unorganized and treat me like a number.
