Did very complicated arthroscopic surgery on colon. While in hospital, I had several major complications which needed constant attention. While his wife was giving birth to his child, he called from the delivery room to ascertain how I was getting along. This is only one of several examples of how caring he was during my recuperation period. In the end, everything turned out as expected and I do not have any noticeable scars from the surgery.

As an RN, I thoroughly checked out Dr. Ikrumuddin's qualifications, his clinical expertise, total & comprehensive bariatric surgery program continuity as well as bedside manner. It was the BEST experience I've EVER had with a surgeon. clinical expertise & extreme concern for the care for the patient. I have a MULTITUDE OF MEDICAL ISSUES INCLUDING AN AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE THAT CAUSES ME TO MAKE BLOOD CLOTS AGAINST MYSELF.HE WAS SO THOROUGH & SOUGHT OUT EXPERTISE FOR ANTICOAGULATION PARAMETERS FROM DIFFERENT EXPERTS IN VERY PERTINENT MEDICAL FIELDS TO PREVENT BLOOD CLOTS WAS INCREDIBLE. A wonderful surgeon, human being & the best surgeon I've met in my 20 year RN career. 100% SATISFACTION. DON'T PASS UP A CHANCE TO HAVE HIM AS YOUR BARIATRIC SURGEON. Andrea A., RN, Minnesota.

Dr. Ikramuddin is the best there is. He has done well over 3000 of these surgeries with only 1 fatality. This is way way above avererage which is 1 in 250. His confidence is comforting. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else.

Dr. Ikramuddin is one of the best surgeons in the Twin Cities. The minor problems with organization and punctuality at the Surgery Clinic are nothing when compared to the expert care one receives under the hands of Dr. Ikramuddin.

the organization of this office really is a problem, but Ikramuddin himself is a gem when it comes to serious stuff. I wish he'd set up private practice outside the U.
