Extremely rude. Finally got away from her, but the bad news is I switched to John Read - who was just as nasty and mean. How can the Dek Med group have both Wadsworth/Read? What are they thinking? Neither of these doctors should be allowed near people, much less sick people with needs! They need cubicle jobs somewhere. When I switched to Read, she called me AT MY HOUSE to intimidate me!!! At her place, waits were extremely loooong (take a 1/2 day off, at least) - only to get berated each time. If I didn't go in with a diagnosis of myself to hand her, she would belittle me for not knowing what was wrong with me (How could I? I'm not a dr - that's why I was going in!!). Mean, mean, mean. Check your feelings at the door, and if you leave, get caller ID on your phone so you'll know when she's calling you.

I found her to be exceptionally rude, and in fact, she actually scared me! I was not shocked at all to come here and find such a plethora of bad reviews, all stating my exact thoughts. I love the Dekalb Medical community, and I wish she were not a part of it. I agree with the others that her personality is extremely negative and abrasive. I picked her by location only -- she is located in the Highlands. I followed many patients over to Dr. Read's on Briarcliff. When I did, I noticed a worker from her office there, who had also "fled." Dr. Wadsworth called me AT MY HOUSE, and demanded to know why I was leaving. It was frightening.

I completely agree with the other reviewers. She is hands down the most unprofessional physician I have ever encountered. She was openly rude to me. Waste of money, waste of time. At least it's not just me!!

Absolutely horrible experience. She berated me for trying to get treatment for migraines. I ran out of the appointment in tears.

Dr. Wadsworth really has a terrible bedside manner. I believe that "human touch" is a very important aspect of a healthcare professional's skill set. Unfortunately, she is sorely lacking in this department.

Very abrupt. Totally lacking in "bedside manner". She should have her lisence taken for unprofessional appearance, lack of compassion. I "HAD" to go to her due to an insurance change. I was on anti-depressants/antiaxiety meds at teh time. As I was VERY stressed just to be there, I did not need to leave feeling like I was a common drug pusher. She could have easily contacted my "regular" doc, but she was "too busy". Toss off the unproffessional "jewelry", hon! Comb your hair, and don't act like patients aren't your business. I truly hope that Dekalk Medical has replaced this person, and I surely CANNOT call her a "doctor"....I think that title should be reserved for a person worthy of it!

I think she is an excellent physician. I don't want to be coddled and cajoled by my physician and she is just no-nonsense, which I appreciate. She readily admits when she can't solve a problem and makes sure that she does everything to help to find someone who can. She doesn't pretend to be an expert on things she isn't sure of. That's why we have specialists. Her staff is really great and I have always been able to be seen within 24 hours anytime I have called when sick.

Dr. Wadsworth made me feel like crying when I left her office. I have been on the same medication for 15 years and she just went and changed it on me. She made me feel stupid for being on it and for asking her questions. So I left without having a good understanding of why she had changed the meds, or how I should be taking the new ones. She has absolutely no bedside manner, and is obviously trying to get you in and out as quickly as possible. It's quite surprising that it only took her about 4 minutes to leave me such an impression. I tried giving her a second and third chance - but I will not be returning.

Dr. Wadsworth has been my GP for almost a decade now, and I think she's great. She spends a lot of time with me whenever I go in and is always interested in everything that's going on medically in my life. I'm transgendered, and so have many special needs. Dr. Wadsworth doesn't know a lot about my condition (no reason she should, as a GP), but has been eager to learn what she needs to know to assist in my transition and care. Her office, exam rooms and reception area are all clean and tidy, and her staff have always been helpful and friendly.

Dr. Wadsworth is the worst health care professional I have encountered in my entire life. She was insensitive and belligerent and repeatedly accused me of "wasting her time" with my ailment, which is actually quite painful. She was so rude I actually got up and walked out in the middle of my examination, even though I never received treatment and had to miss work for the appointment. There's no reason for anyone to put up with this kind of behavior from anyone, let alone someone who claims to be a doctor. In addition, both the waiting room and the examination room were dirty, and she was dressed highly inappropriately. She also did not wear a lab coat, scrubs, or a name tag. The physician's assistant, on the other hand, wore scrubs and was professional and caring: I can only hope she gets another job. As for Dr. Wadsworth, I don't believe she should be practicing medicine. No one should treat patients so insensitively. I complained to my insurance company. Hopefully if enough people complain they will drop her from the approved doctor list. I also complained to Dekalb Medical Center,
