Dr. Hanson is nothing short of amazing. I have never, ever encountered another doctor like him, no matter what his/hers specialty. He is knowledgeable, patient and more helpful than anyone would expect. We are so grateful to have him for a doctor. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a pediatrician, you are in good hands with him.

Dr Hanson was recommended to me by a family friend who was one of his nurses for years. She told me "do you think that I would work for a doctor for 20 years if I didn't respect him?" Dr Hanson is a remarkable Doctor. He told us in our first meeting that his goal is to help us raise our children into healthy well adjusted adults. His yearly talks about what we need to look out for and how to nip behavorial problems in the bud are invaluable. He has been a vital component in the health of not only our children but the health and happiness of our entire family. He has a reputation in the local health community as a doctor who keeps others on their toes. If I have any negatives to say about him it would be that he is too hard on himself about minor and even inconseqential matters. He insists on high standards of professionalism and decorom from everyone including himself. His incredible office staff are a testament to not only his but his wives ability to run a well orchestrated practice.

Dr. Hanson and the office staff are absolutely amazing!! We are so grateful to have them care for our daughter whom was born in Oct. 2008, but also thankful for Dr. Hanson's support in our guidance of us as new parents and in nurturing and doing the best for us as a family. Dr. Diagnosis! He is so spot on with diagnosing. When my 5 year old had a common cold, Dr. Hanson said it could turn into asthma. Sure enough, we found our selves in the hospital that night with asthma. Dr. Hanson came and visited us in the hospital. I feel completely comfortable with his care. His staff is consistent and friendly. The same nurse has been there forever. That also says something about him. True, he is not warm and friendly, but I don't need a pediatrician for that - I need a super sharp and bright person who can diagnose the problem and help me fix it. He never is short or condescending to you. He doesn't make you feel stupid for coming in for 'no reason'. Don't hesitate to pick him.

This is the most awesome dr. ever! He was my sons dr. starting the morning was born and as a first time mother, he advice was more helpful then I can express. He made being a first time mom so much easier and stress free. I always had my Dr. Hanson note book to refer to, including the 3 pages of notes he wrote out for me while still in the hospital, 6 hours after having my son. I am so sad we are no longer able to use him due to an insurance change and none of the doctors we have been to since, come even close to what this man does. He is not warm and fuzzy but an amazing doctor. I truly feel my sons health issues suffer now due to the lack of a great doctor like Dr. Hanson. He REALLY cares and I would recommend him to everyone!

The best pediatrician in the world - this man is magnificent - he helped both me and my son - he discusses milestones and traps that children go through. Addresses not only the physical issues but also what goes on in the mind of a child....

Dr. Hanson has been our doctor for 22 yeas. In all that time he has continued to provide us with excellent care. I have referred him to many families in the last 22 years. He is a no nonsense doctor so dont go there for hand holding. Listen to his advice and follow it well.

My brother and sister, whom are now in their last year of teenager years, were Dr. Hanson's patients. Hearing so much about Dr. Hanson, I decided to take my newborn to visit him and hopefully become his patient. I can't explain how much his information helped us and even when you think you know everything.. you realize, you really don't. My daughter and us had a great experience and will be having many years more. If you're looking for a doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Hanson.

Super doctor! Knows his stuff. Gives insight on what to expect as kids are growing up. Doesn't fool around when he wants additional opinions. Glad my kids go to him.

He is awsome. Especially for first time moms. He is not that warm and fuzzy type but he tells you like it is and you an be assured that you are going to know everything you need. Everytime my husband and I had a question, we just reffered to the many notes that the Dr. wrote for us during our visit and we could always find the answer. I just love him. His staff is great too.

Great guy with lots of tips for childrearing all along the way. Very sensible and thorough. Much more helpful than all my friends pediatricians-friends come to me to hear what my doc said!
