15/09/11 1 1 5 5 I dont go to the doctor often but I am so happy once I get out of that waiting room and into an exam room. The staff is rude and downright mean at times. Always rushed and huffing and puffing about having to work and deal with patients. I understand it may not be easy to do but there is no need for sick people to be treated this way. Fortunately Dr. Luongo and Sciambati are wonderful doctors and knowledgeable. But to witness arrogance and disdain for patients in the waiting room is very distressing. I fear when I get old that this is how I will be treated and I may look elsewhere.

08/08/11 1 3 5 5 I found Dr. Luongo to be a very knowledgeable, caring doctor, who takes his time and does a complete examination, and makes you feel very comfortable. I almost did not go to him because of the poor reviews of his staff, which are true, they are rude, unpleasant and make you feel like you are bothering them, but he than makes up for them. However, they are a poor representation of him and should be spoken to or replaced. If it gets to much I will look for another doctor. I am still trying to figure out how they get away with it, I am sure people have complained.

07/07/11 1 2 5 5 As a new patient in Dr. Luongo's office, I found Dr. Luongo to be very knowledgeable, and a caring interested physician. I'm sorry to say the same does not go for his staff. I found his staff to be rude, abrupt and completely lacking in customer (patient) service skills. The doctor would do better if he got rid of some of his staff at the reception desks and start anew with staff who are people friendly and accommodating.

01/08/10 1 1 1 4 Lawyer advised against seeing a doctor like this. Refused to testify in court about his diagnosis of GERD. Refused to even provide a letter for the day of court. Receptionist was nasty and rude. Office manager was argumentative. Can effect any type of court case like disability.  Respond

27/10/09 1 3 3 3 The office staff is a disgrace. I have never dealt with more RUDE and UNCOMPASSIONATE ARROGANT people. What gives employees the right to treat patients that way? Shame on Dr. Luongo for allowing his valuable patients to be abused. He is fully aware, but refuses to accept accountability!  Respond

05/02/09 3 3 5 2 The Good: As others have said, he is very nice, treats you with respect, listens to what you have to say and is pleasant to be with in general. Personality-wise, he is much better than your average physician, and I give him credit on that. The Bad: His medical knowledge is not up to modern standards in my opinion. Certainly, no doctor can be expected to know all the new advances modern medical research has gleaned, but he appears clearly "behind".  Respond

Because the next thing I knew he was by my bedside. I have been a patient of his longer than I can remember. Thank You Dr. Luongo. You will always be close to my heart.
