04/07/12 5 5 5 5 I am a very happy patient of Dr. Greg Morganroth. In the fall of 2011 I was diagnosed by my dermatologist as having basal cell cancer on the edge of my nostril. A Mohs surgeon successfully dealt with the cancer but left my nose seriously disfigured. After consultation with this surgeonI surmised that I would be better off with a different physician to deal with the cosmetic end of things.I spoke with a number of cosmetic surgeons recommended to me and then enthusiastically chose Dr. Morganroth who had been recommended by a friend. The initial procedure was promptly scheduled for early January. This first visit after my decision to proceed began with an additional Mohs surgery and the first step of the corrective work. While this has been traumatic for me I cannot emphasize enough how supporticve and reassuring Dr. Mojrganroth and everyone in his office has been on every visit. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Morganroth. I am so pleased with the results. CLR

02/07/12 5 5 5 5 Dr. Morganroth is a very serious and competent physician. He's pleasant and professional, communicates clearly, and answers all questions. He performed a lower blepharoplasty and no one could even tell I had had surgery done that same day. Although there was some slight swelling, there were no bruises or any marks whatsoever. In a week, there was hardly any evidence of even that. The bags under my eyes are completely gone, and I am extremely happy with the outcome of this procedure. I highly recommend him and would see him again for any other similar procedures needed.

18/03/12 5 5 5 5 Dr. Morganroth is absolutely the best cosmetic dermatologist in the Bay area! He is genius with fillers and passionate about using minimally invasive techniques to restore youthfulness to the face, and the end results are amazing. I have seen several other doctors for the same treatment, but was forced to hide behind heavy makeup to conceal all the bruising, which lasted as long as 3-4 weeks. Sure, less down time than a more invasive route (which I do not believe is best for me anyway), but when you wear very little make up, and then show up at work looking like your face was plastered with it, the result is anything but subtle. I finally realized that Dr. Morganroth is the only doctor confident and skilled enough to administer this treatment, and hardly any bruising!...so now I am going to him for everything. Both he and his staff were professional, patient, kind, did not rush anything, and were very personable. I feel immensely fortunate to have found Dr. Morganroth and CSI!  Respond

27/02/12 5 5 5 5 He performed a vertical facelift, eyelid and neck lift. The staff took time to answer my questions, the appointments always on time (within 15 minutes.) Dr. Morganroth never made me feel as if he wanted to rush my appointments, very good about answering my questions. He explained procedures and made sure I understood what to expect. He is mentoring Dr. Barlow for a year. I found him delightful. He too, took his time with me and was very patient. His future patients will be lucky to have him. The nurses during the surgery were great.very professional. They are obviously well trained and made me feel secure, working like a well oiled machine with each other and with Dr. Morganroth and Dr. Barlow.Dr. Morganroth cared that I was happy with his work. If one has unrealistic expectations, he will let them know. Professional, skilled, yes. But also caring and concerned about my feelings. I will return with any future concerns to Drs. Morganroth, Barlow and staff.  Respond

12/12/11 5 5 5 5 Dr. Morganroth is an excellent doctor. My mother had to have Mohs surgery on her nose. In order to reconstruct the area, Dr. Morganroth had to perform a skin graft, using tissue from my mother's ear. After just a few weeks, you can already tell that the end result is going to be excellent. He also had to rebuild the cartilage in her nose, using cartilage from her ear. My mother remarked that she was really impressed with the painstaking efforts the doctor made to ensure that he did this in such a manner that her breathing would not be impaired. Many dermatologists would not have been qualified to handle both the Mohs surgery and this type of reconstruction and would have referred my mother to another doctor. As for personal attributes, I found Dr. Morganroth to be very friendly and approachable and remarkably humble, considering his fine credentials. His staff was also very caring and attentive to my mother. This doctor is the total package, and I highly recommend him.

27/06/11 5 5 5 5 Dr. Morganroth operated on me for skin cancer. He is extremely knowledgeable and exacting. I can not recommend him highly enough. I believe he is as meticulous with cosmetic procedures as he is for medical procedures. He settles for nothing less than perfection. That is what I want with the doctors I see. His staff are uniformly helpful and professional. If you want the best dermatology surgeon you'll even have, see Dr. Morganroth. I've lived in New York, Chicago, Washington DC and San Francisco and seen dermatologists in all those cities. Dr. Morganroth remains at the very top of my list.

27/09/10 5 4 5 5 I am 55 years old and had an upper and lower bleph, Fraxel CO2 laser under my eyes and neck lipo by Dr. Morganroth in June. The results are incredible. I look 10 years younger and no longer took tired. I was always asked if I was tired even when I was well rested. Boo! Not any longer! Yes! I have had a full fat neck for years and I now actually have a defined one! I am thrilled with the results. Remember if you have any of these procedures it takes time to heal. I had mine in June and I look better and better all the time. It's amazing. Friends that don't know I had anything done comment on how good I look, did I change my hair, did I lose weight etc. Dr. Morganroth is very professional, to the point, honest and a perfectionist to the max. I checked out several other doctors and went with him. I highly recommend him if you want to look like yourself but shave off years. I highly recomment him!  Respond

18/07/10 5 4 5 5 I saw Dr. Morganroth for the first time in 1999. He did the eye bags as well as liposuction on the hips and thighs of a friend of mine and she was thrilled. I got a consultation for liposuction in 1999, but decided not to go through with it then. Now 11 years later, I went back and did go through with it and I'm thrilled. I finally have the figure that I have wanted. I asked Dr. Morganroth to do only my lower abs and he said that it would not look good and he would only do both upper and lower. I didn't want to pay the extra money for the upper abs, but I did and he was right. It would have looked bad if he had only done the lower abs. Dr. Morganroth and his sales person, Melinda, are extremely knowledgeable about lipo and answered all of my questions. Dr. Morganroth is very skilled and I would not trust anyone else. He is quite confident which I want in a doctor, but he is not arrogant in my opinion.  Respond

23/06/10 5 4 5 5 I had a lift procedure with Dr. Morganroth and experienced a post operative bleed that led to a scar. His professionalism and genuine caring have been nothing short of awesome. I've seen reviews saying he is egotistical, and I can see where that comes from but I believe it also reflects an extremely high work ethic and genuine desire and need to provide the best-possible service every time. After I developed a scar, he has seen me 1/2 dozen times, provided lazer treatments and, finally, excised the scar. All with genuine care and at no additional cost to me. I would highly recommend him.  Respond

I am more than happy with the results and the attention that I received from Dr Morganroth. I look refreshed and natural. When I had questions they were addressed and he did not hesitate to see me when I wanted to come in and see him before my scheduled appointment when I wanted him to take a look at a concern that I had that turned out to not be anything. I found him to be polite, professional and skilled. I did not find him rude or arrogant. He spent as much time that was needed to get the job done, no different than other doctors that are busy. I do not think the wait in his office was any longer than in other doctors offices. I always got the impression that he really cared about his patience and what he does. I recommend him and his facility. Don't let the negative reviews steer you away from him.  Respond

04/03/10 5 5 5 5 I have seen Dr. Morganroth twice in the last 6 yrs. for cosmetic purposes and not cancer related issues, but if I ever had a cancer issue I would not hesitate to put my trust in him. After reading some negative comments about Dr. Morganroth, I am not sure how some patients come to that conclusion. I personally see Dr. Morganroth as a complete professional who knows his profession, is absolute, matter of fact, and able to make a quick diagnoses. He runs a tight ship and expects a competent staff. Though some may use the word arrogant to describe him, I feel this is a misrepresentation of him, what he is, is to the point, lets get this taken car of for you, he knows what he is doing, and your best interest is his best interest, period...just no sugar coating. sm  Respond

02/03/10 5 5 5 5 Let's face it, it is no picnic to be told you have skin cancer! Dr M's staff was very wonderful and caring, a real team, and most of them have been with him for a very long time which is a credit to him. Dr.M does come across as arrogant but I don't think he is trying to impress people- but rather help them feel that they are in good hands so they will feel comfortable having whatever procedures are necessary. My results on a nose tip removal of basal cell carcinoma and forehead flap graft were very doubtful for the first few months but now it looks very good and no one can tell I ever had this. I found him personable and funny and very interested in me. He seemed compassionate and caring. I felt that I was in good hands. He delivered what he promised. Again - his staff is great and fills in the "cracks" of his occasional awkwardness. I would have appreciated a phone call after my big procedure. I would recommend him to anyone,

10/12/09 5 5 5 5 I saw Dr Morganroth for a scalp cyst(sebaceous). I was referred to Dr.Morganroth by my physician. I called his office during mid november and was told that he is completely booked until march. I explained briefly about what was going on and she called me next day confirming an appt. He was there with a smile and answering my questions repeatedly. He told me not to worry and to get this thing out. I felt very cared and told him what a wonderful doctor he was. For a moment I forgot I was a patient. During my second visit the doctor came in on time and got this thing out in 10 minutes. He is an amazing , very confident and skillful doctor. He also spent 5 minutes after the operation and answered all my questions. I noticed that he was very understanding about my concerns and did not mind when I frequently interrupted him while he was still answering my questions. Dont go by the negative reviews here, just go and see him for yourself. I am so glad I did.

28/09/09 5 3 5 5 I have seen other dermatologists for my skin cancer on my face, and I wasn't pleased with the answered I received from them. Then I went in for a consult with Dr. Morganroth for my skin cancer. He was running little late, but I realized why after the consult. He took all the time to give me options for treatment for my skin cancer as well as the reconstruction of my face after removing the skin cancer. The day of my surgery, of course, I was very nervous, but the friendly nursing staff and the receptionists made me feel so comfortable of being there. I felt like I was treated as a family member of Dr. Morganroth. Of course, my face turned out looking as normal as before. I highly recommend Dr. Morganroth to anyone with skin issues, especially with skin cancers.

26/05/09 5 5 5 5 I recently meet with Dr. Morganroth to consult on the possibility of a neck lift. Prior to my visit I read comments on this website regarding his arrogance. Dr. Morganroth exhibits ample confidence in his skills, a trait I certainly want in any physician, surely in one performing surgery on or about my face. He was not at all arrogant and I think to characterize him this way is inaccurate. He gave me all of the time I wanted, explaining his procedures and patiently answering my many questions.  Respond

25/03/09 5 2 5 5 I went to Dr. Morganroth for an eyelid procedure. I had already had the procedure done (re done)TWICE by an extremely well known SF Doc. It was not successful. And I was extremely upset and distrustful. After asking many questions (and even taking out my frustration on Dr. Morganroth), he performed the procedure. The difference was amazing! That was in 2003 and now 2009, it still looks great. (He even sent me flowers as I recouped!). I guess I look at his arrogance differently...it is a coping mechanism to deal with very emotional people... and not too far under the surface, is a really talented caring nice man. 10/01/09 4 3 3 5 I came across him on the internet, decided he is the best fit for my Mohs surgery on my scalp. I right away got an appointment next day. He seemed a little full of himself ( I guess you could call it confident), rushed and actually intimidating. He assured me that my carzinoma is no big deal, I'll be in and out and back to work next day, I should not worry, emphazising his great knowledge and skills. I quickly got an appointment and it turned out bigger, deeper. He even sent me home with a hole in my head, because he had no time anymore to stich it up. Next day he "fixed" me with over 50 stiches. No big deal ! Yeah right, I could not go to work for 1 week and spent 3 days in bed in great pain. When I went back after 3 days in pain, he looked down on me " well, everybody is different".. well,I still think he is a great surgeon, but no people skills. But, hey, do I rather want a doctor with people skills or a guy who know what he is doing? Bit more time and expectation mgmt would not hurt

24/12/08 5 5 5 5 I saw Dr. Morganroth and two other Mohs surgeons based on recommendations from my dermatologist for treatment of my nose skin cancer. Although Dr. Morganroth was the most confident of the surgeons, I chose to go to another Mohs surgeon because his office was close to my home and his office was smaller and slower pace. My cancer was larger than expected and I was surprised when the doctor told me that I would have to see a plastic surgeon because he didn't feel comfortable fixing the hole. The plastic surgeon wanted to attach my forehead to my nose under full anesthesia. In a panic, I called Dr. Morganroth's office and they saw me the same day. Dr. Morganroth was just great -- empathetic, professional, and confident that my nose could be repaired in a simpler local procedure. The reconstruction was performed right away with over 30 stitches! Now, a few months later my scar is barely visible. He performs miracles in skin surgery without full anesthesia. I am grateful for his skill.
