:) Click to report rating *  11/24/09 5 4 5 Dr. Mazzocchi (this entry has her name spelled wrong) is one of the best doctors I've ever had. She talks to her patients rather than ramming them through, which is why she's sometimes running late. I can't explain the negative remarks here except to think there are a lot of difficult, cranky, patients out there, many of whom blame their doctors for their own mistakes. I've never found her staff or nurses to be difficult or ignorant, I've always found them to be helpful and responsive (and good at giving shots!) Dr. Mazzocchi is terrific, and I feel lucky to have found her.

:) Click to report rating    11/17/09 5 5 5 The best very caring & knowledgable. Dr. M even sent my husband & I to diabetic classes when we were prediabetic so we would not get worse. The dieticians there were impressed, said they wished more docs would do that. Spends a lot of time listening.

:( Click to report rating    7/15/09 1 1 1 Dr. M is arrogant, unprofessional, and seems to be solely after the money in her practice. She wanted to minimize the time spent with me, yelled at me and did not listen to my concerns.

:( Click to report rating    5/20/09 1 1 1 Dr. M wrote a prescription that she thought was best for me. She knew all the medication I was on and still thought it was medically needed. However, once the question came up about the prescription she denied responsibility. Everything was in chart. I was willing to talk to her and accept an apology and move on. She has been my doctor for 25 years. She wrote a prescription and I followed her directions. When I found out there was a problem I called her office and asked to hear from her when convenient she wouldn't even call me to talk about it. "She doesn't call patients".

:) Click to report rating    3/9/09 1 1 3 Dr. M is great. Unfortunatley she does have the most incompetent and lazy office staff ever! Nurses are stellar and overburdened by the stupid front desk. Unfurtunately I don't think Dr. M realized how much the staff hurt her practice and instead of hiring good people, she sold out to a managed care business. I think things are getting worse and its a shame. Hired a PA who is green and will probably stay that way. Heads up if you go and need blood work: Get the order & take to lab, otherwise you will suffer another long wait at her office and be charged an OV. Lab is quick and won't gouge you or your insurance company.

:( Click to report rating    12/16/08 1 1 1 I was a patient of Dr Mazzochi for the last 10 years. Her staff is ignorant and lazy, as is she. I use to think she knew what she was talking about when she labeled me as having FMS, asthma, etc. Well she didn't. I have Lyme disease. I even asked her about this and she refused testing saying it flat out was not Lyme. I asked for referrals and it took them 3 weeks to make me an appt. I called her office and told them of my ear and throat problems and that I had already called an ENT whom could see me the same day if they would just call over to give an authorization code. They said they did not have time. Isn't that their job? Everytime you go in there they are doing nothing but yapping and act like you are interrupting them. Oh, and I didn't have asthma it was emphysema, per lung specialist. I tried to tell her my symptoms were not like that of an asthma patient. She's an idiot and so is her staff. I wouldn't go there again if I was knocking on deaths door.

:) Click to report rating    12/12/08 5 5 5 I have never had a Doctor like Dr. Mazzocchi, she is the most wonferful doctor I've ever been to. She takes her time with you and most of all listens to what you have to say. It is rare that i have waited more than 15 minutes past my appointment. Well worth the wait. Dr. Mazzocchi is very kind and understanding, I feel she truly cares about her patients. Her staff is also very helpful and kind, and whenever I call with a question, they find out what I need to know and calls me back. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have Dr. Mazzocchi taking care of me. Dr. Mazzocchi knows exactly what kind of treatments that will help me. She is the best!!!

:( Click to report rating    3/14/08 1 1 1 Extremely unprofessional and rude. Always late. Forced to sit in waiting room or exam room for atleast an hour each visit. Asks extraneous questions unrelated to health or reason of visit. Gave inaccurate information about effects of a medication.

:) Click to report rating    1/30/08 5 2 5 She takes her time with you when she enters the exam room. This is most likely why you tend to wait longer in the waiting rooms. Its worth the wait since most MD's run in and run out after only a few minutes. She sits and asks you how you are. She remembers things about you that dont pertain to your health. She is genuine and truly cares for your well being. She tries to know the whole person, which assists her with diagnosis. I simply hate to go to the doctor, but she makes it a not-so-bad experience. For someone like mw, that is saying quite a mouthful!

:| Click to report rating    11/27/07 3 3 3 i was her patient for over 10 years until she refused to admit that she had written a rx for adderall. then she refused to take my calls and had the nurse tell me that some other dr. must have precribed it. several times i talked to the office manager and told hear i had the rx. bottle with the dr. name on it. then for whatever reason the office manger call me and told me that ALL my prescription were going to be canceled asap even the refills. i had been on antidepressents for years that dr.m had always prescribed. after that phone call i no sinus meds, nasal spray or antidepressent meds. then dr. mazzochi wanted me out of her practice. i was told that after i sign a release my records would be sent to my next doctor. i recently found nothing was every sent to any other dr. i was also told that i was not the only person that was wrongly and indirectlly accused of some type of wrong doing but i was never allowed to prove my innocents. in stead she got rid of me.

:| Click to report rating    7/20/07 2 2 2 Called for a med refill; return call told me I had to do bloodwork first. When I called to ask what test and why, they couldn't find file. Again asked why the test and which ones. Doc came on phone and told me I was rude, belligerent, and was refusing to make appt. Told me to find another doc and have a nice life. HORRIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL after I'd been going to her practice for over 10 years!

:) Click to report rating    7/2/07 1 1 5 Front desk staff while polite, is ignorant which adds to extreme wait time and getting simple questions answered outside of your appointment virtually impossible. This fine physician needs to hire experienced persons or educate those she has. FYI: Blood tests can be done at a regular lab saving you time and an office charge. Just ask for lab slip.

:) Click to report rating    6/16/07 4 5 Dr. Mazzochi is one of the best doctor's I have ever gone to, she is kind and listens and doesn't try to hurry you through. More doctor's need to take note of her superb bedside manner!

:) Click to report rating    10/19/06 3 5 Although there is some some spent waiting and getting an appointment, Dr. Mazzocchi is definately worth the wait. She is kind, considerate, knowlegable, helpful and caring in every way. She is the standard other doctors should try to meet. I am lucky to be one of her patients and appreciate her for being such an exceptional doctor.

:)      11/30/05 4 5 One of the best doctor's I've ever had. She takes the time to really listen to her patients and know them and remembers them from visit to visit. I've been going to her for 15 years and have had nothing but positive experiences. If she runs behind a bit at times, it's because she is spending the time with her patients. This is just a terrific doctor.
