11/16/12 5 5 5 5 Dr Swarr has been our pediatrician for our kids and family doctor for me for about 3 years now. We moved here from Michigan and I have to say that he's great! He never let's us leave without answering all of our questions. My neighbors see him too and they like him a lot as well. Trust me--you'll like him a lot!

3/9/11 5 5 5 5 Dr. Swarr sets a high standard as a physician, he is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. Not only does he take the time to really listen to my concerns, but he really cares. With the continual challenges facing medical practices and the pressures on clinicians today, I find his practice very efficient, the staff to be polite and caring. I have also seen Drs. Bullock and Edmondson - the entire practice is one we are lucky to have in our city.

12/3/09 5 5 5 5 Dr. Swarr and his staff were excellent. We were visiting out of town and my infant son was diagnosed with either Pneumonia or bronchitis from another walk in clinic. I called Dr. Swarrs office and they saw him to give a second opinion and confirmed pneumonia via xray. They upped his antibiotics and did not throw unneccesary medicines towards us. He and his staff took time and listened to us and he was able to make am accurate diagnosis for my infant son who was born with pneumonia when he was born. He was very sensitive about my sons history as well. Thanks from Valrico Fl!

11/6/09 5 5 5 5 I've been nothing but impressed with Dr. Swarr. He's patient and listens to you, asks lots of questions and seems to genuinely care about your situation. Also, he doesn't just throw a medication at your health issue unless it's completely warranted. He wants to see you back to health in the most natural way possible. His staff is VERY nice and VERY helpful. I can't say I'm looking forward to seeing him anytime soon (that would mean I'm sick), but I know I'll be taken good care of.  Respond

8/17/09 5 5 5 5 Dr Swarr has been our family Md for about 5 years. He treats young and old. We have seen almost everyone in the practice and have always been happy. They truly care. We have told everyone seaking care to see him. Now the practice is very busy. They still take time and give great service but it is more rushed now.

7/10/09 5 5 5 2 Dr Swarr is probably good with average complaints and common illnesses. For our purposes, however, we needed a clinician who was willing to look past the common and figure out the real diagnosis. He diagnosed a viral nerve infection as a migraine, which may now have caused permanent damage. He was condescending and patronizing when my husband disagreed with him. We haven't seen him since.

7/3/08 5 5 5 5 Dr. Swarr is by far the most well read and personable physician I have ever known. He has treated me with utmost respect and empathy in some of my frailest states. Dr. Swarr makes me feel as if I was the only patient he has that day, and listens to my issues with open ears and qualifying questions. He really works with you to understand the in's and out's of what's going on. Then he prescribes the best course of treatment tailored to your condition. He does'nt throw pills at you, he truly listens. I trust Dr. Swarr with my health and feel like I can be un-reserved and honest about my condition. He is an incredible physician and an outstanding person all around. If you are looking for someone that is committed to staying on top of the ever changing healthcare landscape and who challenges you to be your best and take control of your condition then look no further Dr. Swarr is your doctor. God Bless Dr. Swarr.

6/29/08 4 4 2 4 always felt rushed. not his fault, state of medical practices these days. but in the rush, my son was misdiagnosed many times in this practice (I was once told my thermometer was wrong!). potentially life threatening, and I (as his mother) was left feeling I was just being dramatic...but in the end, they were looking for the fast diagnosis and miss less common ailments. It was explained to me that "8 times out of 10" it would have been allergies (so we gave him a bunch of unnecessary drugs, he has since tested negative for all seasonal allergies)...when he ultimately had pneumonia. I genuinely liked Dr. Swarr, believe he is kind and knowledgable, a very hard working doctor. but in the end I felt he was too rushed to give my son the care he needed, so we could not continue in his practice.

1/28/07 4 5 5 I saw Dr. Swarr last week for the first time. He was highly recommended to me by a few friends. Dr. Swarr was wonderful. Very warm. Very on top of things.....so concerned.I had given up on ever finding a doctor like this. Now I feel like I have finally found a doctor that will help me manage my health. His RN, Laura is terrific. It's so good to have RN's in an office. That's very uncommon these days so I really appreciate it so much. Lisa, the phlebotomist was so skilled. To sum it up, I had an excellent experience and impression of Dr. Swarr and his staff. I highly recommend him.

11/29/05 5 5 5 I had a great experience with Dr. Swarr at Cool Springs Internal Medicine & Pediatrics Clinic. He and his staff were kind, personable, and extremely knowledgeable. They have wonderful people skills and their practice has a humanitarian quality that is often difficult to find in medial practice (and especially in walk in clinics). Dr. Swarr took a great deal of time to discuss my situation and to explain to me the reasoning behind his treatment decision. He has a very hands on/ educational approach towards his patients that is very respectful and refreshing. If you are looking for a doctor in the area I highly recommend him. I would also suggest going sooner rather than later because before long he's going to be booked solid!
