Dr Valdes is a very patient and respectful surgeon. I was nervous going to see him and he immediately put me at ease with his patience and humor. My first meeting with him was almost two hours long, thats how much time he took to speak with me about my concerns. He respects his patients and does not believe it posting before and after pictures on the internet either which is really rare considering most doctors dont think twice about this. it made me feel better knowing my photo wouldnt be out there, regardless if they are anonymous or not!! also he is sure to give his opinion on what is best for your body type even if it means disagreeing with you. It was really helpful to have his feedback before making an ultimate decision.
I found Dr. Valdes and his staff to be very professional and extremely caring. Dr. Valdes took his time with me and listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. I never felt rushed which is rare in today's world of Doctors. I also find that he is the rare type of plastic surgeon that will listen to what you want but will speak up and let you know if he doesn't feel that that is the best option for you - as most plastic surgeons will do anything a patient wants regardless of how the outcome will be. I would rather the doctor tell me that what I am requesting is not necessary to get the results I want vs. just doing what I ask and then me not being happy with the results. And I have always been more than happy with the results I have gotten from Dr. Valdes' work. I also have to say that the people who work for him are very caring and I feel like they treat their patients like family which is why I have continued to be a loyal patient over the years.

If you have any value for your welfare, mental well-being, and overall life do not go to this doctor. Inconvenient location, horrible front desk staff, and complete lack of understanding, help, and consideration for patients. It goes to show that a person can graduate the top of the class and understand the comestic/plastic surgery field, yet still be a despicable excuse as a doctor.
