01/09/13 2 1 3 2 I had a rhinoplasty for a bump on the bridge of my nose. The staff was rude and kept me waiting forever multiple times. After the procedure, my nose was even worse than before. Now there is a bump, but only on one side of the bridge of my nose. The tip is lopsided and crooked. I am even more self conscious about my nose now. I would definitely warn anyone considering Dr. Tye to perform their rhinoplasty.

15/07/12 3 3 3 2 I went in for an eyelid lift. He said he could correct the corners of my eyes but they are just as bad, if not worse. He has an assistant who follows you around and praises everything about the surgery when it was not good. He also has a poor bedside manner. Recovery area is also quite zoo-like. I would not recommend this Dr.

10/08/10 5 5 5 5 My autistic son needed his wisdom teeth, we discussed my concerns and discussed how we would proceed. I found the staff to be extremely polite. My son even recovered much faster than I had anticipated. I have and will continue to reccomend Dr. Tye.

13/04/10 5 5 5 5 After consultation with my General Dentist, Endodontist, and Dr Tye, we decided to extract four teeth that were dead and useless to me. This was done with absolutely no associated pain or discomfort to me. His fees were also very reasonable.  Respond

02/04/10 4 4 1 3 Dr. Tye was wrong in his diagnosis and charged fee levels that his own office warned my insurance was unlikely to reimburse. So I found his preoccupation to be on my pocket rather than on my illness. I was referred by my dentist to Tye who was going to see me that day as a courtesy. My problem was a viral infection at wound sites from dental surgery. I have both dental and medical insurance. He charged my visit as medical because his nurse told me that the fees are higher. He also charged a $120 "emergency fee" which I wasn't told about, would not have agreed to and should have refused to pay. Worst of all, he spent 2-3 minutes poking around my mouth, made a wrong diagnosis and cost me another week of pain while I followed his recommendations. Any doctor can make an inaccurate diagnosis, but I haven't had a doctor be so cavalier and also be wrong. So I would warn others to keep their bodies and their purses away from Dr. Tye.  Respond

17/08/09 3 3 2 1 Suspicious billing practices. I was quoted an amount for an consultation. I paid cash in full at time of consultation and then received another bill when I had no procedures or additional services from this doctor. Also could not get him to understand my heart meds need to be discontinued before removing teeth or I COULD BLEED TO DEATH! It's a very new drug & he just didn't listen to what I said about it.  Respond

03/03/09 3 3 3 4 Be care in dealing with the price. They told me one thing and it ended up being much higher. After discussing this with other, they too were told a price that was way lower than what you end up paying. I had 2 kids that had their wisdom teeth out.

08/12/08 4 5 5 5 Dr. Tye is a very kind, patient, and understanding doctor. He made me feel confidant with his care. His staff went above and and beyond as well. There was only one rude receptionist that I spoke with on the phone once but she was rude enough to bring the staff rating down.  Respond
