02/04/12 3 2 5 5 Dr. Green spends as much time with her patients as needed. Therefore, she can be very late with appointments, but you can always call and check on her schedule. Staff a mixed bag, but nurses excellent. Caring doctor and creative in solutions.  Respond

05/02/12 1 1 2 3 Christine Green should be banned from treating Lyme patients. Not only does she have no regard for time (I was once kept waiting for 5 hours...no, i am not kidding) but she is not educated on all of the therapeutic options. I, as well as others, have left her practice & actually gotten better from Lyme. Unlike her diagnosis of "well, guess you could get better". She uses are real "shot in the dark" approach with antibiotics and charges are ridiculous amount of money. In addition, she told me to call her if my neurological symptoms got worse & after 3 calls her assistant called me back saying she needed me to come in again for another $350 appt, didn't have time for another month & she would not be calling me back. She is truly was of the most thoughtless doctors i have ever death with in my life.

17/12/11 4 2 5 5 My 9 yr old daughter and I have both been seeing Dr. Green for Lyme and tick-borne co-infections since May 2011. We both like Dr. Green a lot. She is very knowledgeable and experienced, a great listener, inquisitive and smart, and kind and caring. We are fortunate and grateful to have Dr. Green treating us both.  Respond

04/11/11 5 3 5 5 Best doctor you could possibly have for vector borne disease. She is a true expert, extremely knowledgable. She is also a compassionate woman. I am prepared to wait because I know that she will give my child all the attention she needs.  Respond

14/07/11 2 1 5 5 I had been to see every specialist under the sun and no one could diagnose what I had. Even had the Western blot test which was on the border but just shy of full blown Lyme. Had been sick, fever, severe fatigue for a year, constipated. Saw Dr Green and she didn't think I had Lyme during our first appt. Ran a myriad of tests, and I do. She's been treating me for 9 months and I'm improving. Antibiotics and naturopathic. I don't know anyone who had Lyme that got better without antibiotics. My fever was gone within two weeks. Fatigue is better but since I'm chronic, it will take a while from all I've read. She spends at least 30-45 minutes with me ea time. Staff is very scattered and can be very, very unfriendly. Punctuality is atrocious but I know that going in so plan ahead. Knowledgable, caring, patient advocate, answers any and all questions. I'd give her a high rating. Just be prepared for a long wait and somewhat incompetent staff.  Respond

17/06/10 2 2 2 5 Although as everyone says, she is knowledgable, has good labwork, and is attentive to detail, the fact remains that after you meet with her, she is not available for monitoring or follow up of the dangerous drugs she prescribes. This is not good considering these drugs have a very poor history of side effects, including death.  Respond

02/04/10 1 3 5 5 Dr Green has been treating my wife for Lyme for a couple of years now and my wife has been improving under her care. Dr Green spends significant time with her and answers all questions. She seems to be a great caring doctor. Beware of her staff. They constantly screw up and always seem rushed.

31/08/09 5 4 5 5 Seeing one doctor after another for 4 months, 14 MDs total, I deteriorated very fast, I was so sick I could not get out of bed, could not go to work. I was still being told that "based on our test results, nothing seems to be wrong". When we finally found Dr. Green through a friend, she ordered the right tests and it turned out that a lot of things were wrong. She diagnosed me with Lyme, based on clinical symtpoms and serology. I responded to therapy in three weeks and got out of bed. I do not know what would have happened to me if I did not see her. She is very intelligent, knowledgeable, curious, scientific and caring. Her punctuality gets affected because she spends time with her patients, how ever long it takes. She does not rush the previous patient to be on time for the next patient. She leaves at 8PM. Staff is great. We are lucky that they work so hard for us. I wish Dr. Green spent more time in mentoring young doctors so that Lyme could better be addressed in the Bay Area.

08/07/09 5 4 5 5 Dr. Green's expertise and care saved my life. She is the kind of doctor who literally takes CARE of her patients. She sees them as people, not as appointment slots and she works harder than any other medical professional I have ever met. Dr. Green meets with her patients face to face in her office in addition to the physical exam, she takes time to listen carefully every time and doesn't rush patients. She often runs very late because of this. She works until late night even on Fridays and very seldom takes a break. She calls patients after her last appointment to check on them. She is the real deal.  Respond

03/01/09 5 2 5 5 Dr. Green is amazing. She is helping my child through a terrible case of Chronic Lyme along with three other tick borne illnesses. Without Dr. Green I don't know where we would be at this point. She is extremely knowledgable, very empathetic and gives her patients all sorts of time and attention. I cannot give her a stronger recommendation! We travel over 5,000 miles every other month to see her.  Respond

07/04/08 3 1 5 5 Dr. Green is an excellent doctor, and is always late for appointments, but she gives you the time you need when it's finally your turn. She knows her medicine and is a saviour to patients with Lyme disease. Doesn't know enough about alternative lyme treatments, but I think if you go the antibiotic route, you won't find a better doc in the peninsula.

06/09/07 5 1 5 5 This is the LLMD you want for lyme disease. I have been seeing her for 3 years and she turned my desperation into JOY and health! She is very lyme literate, very deliberate and very compassion! She is also in high demand, but worth getting on a waiting list. Staff is amazing, Cindy a little bossy and hurt feelings, but she runs the ship. Do not allow Cindy to treat you in that bossy, sometimes condensending manner, not acceptable.  Respond

29/03/07 2 4 5 Dr. Green presented a very fair explaination of the rationale for my Lyme diagnosis. I do have positive serology so that does help things along but many doctors in the Bay Area still discount that Lyme exists here making treamtment difficult. Dr. Green presented me with different treatment options and the pros and cons associated with all of them. I was given literature to read and further scientific studies to look up if so desired. Nothing was forced upon me at anytime. She was very open about the political nature of Lyme disease and the fact that others in the medical community scoff at what she and other LLMD's are doing. I received a very complete and detailed physical exams. She was thorough with my medical history and lab work and as a result, she tends to run behind schedule.

14/10/06 2 1 3 Dr. Green is an "LLMD" and this means that she'll tell you that you've got lyme if your eye blinks funny or if you say you enjoy lollipops. In other words, everything smacks of lyme in her office. This works great for people who do have lyme. But then again, who really knows it's lyme that ails them given the diagnostic tests aren't reliable. Dr. Green is the one to see if you want lots of antibiotics. It may work, it may not. I haven't talked to many people who got well on antibiotics, but that is just subhjective. Until data comes out on patients doing long term ABx, it will all be a crap shoot. Final assessment: a decent doctor with lyme tunnel vision.  See Responses
