:) Click to report rating    10/28/09 3 3 5 Dr. Abbruzzi delivered my baby girl in July and made it one of the best experiences of my life! Although I had some complications, she made me feel at ease, talked me through everything, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I cannot say enough good things about her! Only drawback was prenatal visits and the wait time. But in my opinion, the excellent care I had during labor and delivery completely made up for it! Love her!

:( Click to report rating    9/30/09 1 1 1 I trusted her for years, but when finally I could not abide by her direction to wait it out for the pain, she all but flipped out on me and got angry for questioning her and saying I have a problem, and asking her to answer questions. She turned on a dime into a demon and was nasty, condescending and rude. She refused to answer any questions without being snotty, and never even answered them. Her suggestion was radical and did not offer any other options. I wanted to get a second opinion and she audibly huffed and said whatever. It was shocking. If you're a patient and don't believe me, get a copy of your medical records. I assure you, you will be shocked at what she says she discusses, covers and what you said. She is a liar and her office staff are outright nasty. I have never ever waited less than an hour and a half, and countless times the office staff says they had me scheduled for different times. They're all awful, stay away.

:) Click to report rating    4/27/09 5 5 5 Dr. Abbruzzi was very knowledgeable and able to answer my questions thoroughly. She was also very compassionate and understanding about my problem. I didn't even feel her take the pap smear.

:( Click to report rating    1/25/09 3 1 1 Saw her through all pre-natal appts. I began feeling very ill beyond normal she was very annoyed & told me I should drink more caffeine during the afternoon. (my new drs have said this is very wrong) After my ultrasound I ended up in intensive care with her partner Willis. I was ignored until I was told it was too late, then Abruzzi had to deliver my stillborn. She immediately started introducing herself & telling me where her office was located, eventhough I have seen her for months, her response was "oh really, I have no idea who you are". Weeks later in her office, I was insistant on seeing the ultrasound results that were done right before my complications, she shuffled through my medical report & said "Willis must have them". Later, I contacted the office for my own copies, they told me that they usually never receive them, only a report. I also have to add that besides her & Willis, the other drs seem to come & go.

:( Click to report rating    12/8/08 1 2 1 I think the staff is horrific in that practice. I called for results and never got call backs and some of the medical assistants were rude. Dr. Willis (Dr. Abruzzi's partner) made a mistake while I was laboring, then left Dr. Abbruzzi to pick up the slack. While I realize she was left to make better of an already yucky situation, after speaking to other doctors, they agree that she should have made the decision to do a c-section before it became an emergent situation, endangering my son. It is not this instance alone that makes me uneasy about her. I ran a fever for weeks postpartum and was repeatedly told to take Motrin to suppress my fever. The cause of my fevers was only explored once. I was told there was no reason for them, to keep taking the Motrin. After having results sent to another OB (because the fever persisted for over a month and I felt horrible) they informed me that I DID have an infection. It went untreated for over a month because of Dr. A's negligence.

:) Click to report rating    11/2/07 5 4 5 One of the best Ob/Gyns in the Lehigh Valley. Unfortunately her partner, Dr. Willis isn't and caused me to leave the practice. A shame really since Dr. Abbruzzi is awesome! She will listen to you!
