dr. Prasad performed both upper and lower blepharoplasty, as well as prp and laser resurfacing around my eyes. It is now 6 months post -op, and I am very pleased with the results. The tired look is gone and replaced with a very natural rejuvenated more youthful appearance. I am very happy I chose dr. prasad for my surgeon.
Great Doctor! I contacted Prasad Cosmetic Surgery after finding Dr Prasad online. I went on to have a Ptosis eye surgery and I am really happy with the result, the after care was thorough. I will come again
Dr. Prasad corrected my retracted lower eyelids using acellular dermal grafts inside my eyelids. The results are fabulous. I am very pleased. He and his staff have been terrific throughout the entire experience.
I had a Vampire Facelift a few weeks ago and loving the results so far. I was looking for something quick to rejuvenate my face for an event I was attending and they recommended it to me. Great atmosphere and good communication
I Had the Asian eyelid surgery done 4 months ago and the result are amazing. The healing process and follow up went as it was suppose to. My new eyelid crease looks natural and I am happy with it. Will visit again
He was suppose to be an EXPERT on the EYES??? Really? BAD. Horrible experience. I had to have my eyes redone after a year. My eyes will never be the same. He really did not measure or tried but failed. My eyes were completely uneven for a year. It looked ridiculous. Even make-up could not fix. I finally had to go to another doctor to fix it. Now I have an extra scar there but it's better. Ugh!

We appreciate the feedback our patients provide online. We, like other readers on the web, take posters at their word they have provided true and accurate depictions of their experience. We respond to constructive feedback and do what we can to satisfy our patients. That being said, based on the description provided, we are unable to identify the “patient” with anyone who received care in our practice. If you are a patient of record, we ask that you please contact our office so we can address your concerns directly.

I do not find this doctor competent and he is a rip-off too. I had filler done under my eyes which he did not do a good job on and his speciality is the eyes so that shows you a lot, plus I paid a significant amount of money for PRP which does not really work. Its a total SCAM! There are far more skilled and caring doctors out there.
Dr. Amiya Prasad's response
I am sorry to read your experience at our practice was not beneficial. I rely on patient feedback in assessing our performance as a practice, and appreciate the opportunity to address concerns my patients present. With that said, I cannot identify you as a patient, as there is no name attached to this review. Furthermore, we have not received any complaints regarding filler injections or PRP treatments from patients seen at the practice in recent months.
Nonetheless, I wanted to address your concern regarding PRP, or platelet-rich plasma, treatments. While medical research is ongoing, studies have shown that PRP can potentially speed up the healing process for certain types of injuries. This treatment has been used by numerous athletes - Tiger Woods, Rafael Nadal, and Koby Bryant, to name a few - to shorten their recovery time from sports injuries. According to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, "Treatment with platelet-rich plasma holds great promise... [however], the medical community needs more scientific evidence before it can determine whether PRP therapy is truly effective" for non-sports-related injuries.
When presenting this treatment option, I typically educate my patients that PRP is on the cutting edge of medical science, and the healing impact of this therapy is still being studied. Patients are advised that results can vary greatly depending on the area of the body being treated, the overall health of the patient, and whether the condition is acute or chronic. While I can certainly understand your disappointment, or even frustration, if PRP therapy did not yield your hoped for results, it is unfair to characterize this therapy as a "scam."
Lastly, I strive to provide the outcomes my patients desire. It is my hope that no patient ever leaves our practice disappointed with the results of their treatment. However, on rare occasions, and despite our best efforts, we fall short in meeting patients’ expectations. In these instances, I am more than willing to work with such patients on secondary treatment options. Our door is also always open to any patient who has concerns or questions about the care they receive. I am always willing to find solutions to any perceived problem.
