:) Click to report rating    1/13/10 5 5 5 Dr. Greaney has been very helpful in resolving my medical complaints. No single physician knows all of medicine, but I haven't yet found gaps in Dr. Greaney's knowledge.

:) Click to report rating    11/9/09 4 5 5 Dr. Greaney is extremely caring, very professional, and probably most important, COMPETENT. He is always responsive and reachable -- something not always present in many NYC M.D.s.

:) Click to report rating    5/5/09 4 5 5 I have been going to Dr. Greaney for years and he is the best physician I have ever had. He's attentive, terrific bedside manner and is very thorough. You are in extremely capable hands with him.

:) Click to report rating    4/16/09 4 4 5 I also love and trust Dr. Greaney and have learned to ignore whomever on his staff who is unpleasant. He makes up for anything else. He is smart, kind and really cares about his patients and enjoys practicing good medicine. Cares less about making big bucks. When I complained about getting a large bruise after blood was taken, he did it himself the next time.

:) Click to report rating    3/12/09 2 3 5 Dr. Greaney is a very good MD, although the last time I saw him he was way over-booked and he seemed rushed. That was a first, and I hope just a rare occurrence. I agree with other posters about the very rude front-office staff. Also, I got a hefty brusie from a blood test I had done there, and I mentioned it to Dr. Greaney. Overall, Dr. greaney is great; he listens, he is interested and he cares.

:) Click to report rating    4/7/08 5 5 5 Dr. Greaney is truly remarkable. I will never forget a time during an Easter Holiday when I was concerned about a swollen gland on my neck. He took time from his personal day off to check me out. He is extremely personable and always willing to give helpful advice to me and my entire family. He is a down to earth physician with a great sense of humor.

:) Click to report rating    3/3/08 3 5 5 Dr. Greaney is the answer to my prayers. I'm in my 70's now, and have finally found a doctor I trust, admire and LIKE. My husband feels the same way about him.

:) Click to report rating    11/16/07 2 5 5 Dr. Greaney is the BEST internist ever. He literally saved my life.I wish he would get out of that practice though, because as previous posters have noted, the practice staff are not the greatest. Two bad things happened at my appt earlier this week: (1)the phlebotomist was talking on the phone while drawing my blood; she did all phlebotomy with one hand while with the other holding the phone and moving around---- I ended up with a bruise, which happens even with the best of phlebotomists, but I think this bruise was the result of her inattentiveness. (2)After my ECG, the technician told me to sit up and put my shirt back on. As soon as I sat up she was wheeling the ECG cart out the door, meaning, I was half-naked in front of the open doorway. How embarrassing! Dr. Greaney is worth seeing though. But if anyone from his practice is reading this, please take note and do some basic staff training. Thanks.

:) Click to report rating    10/8/07 2 5 5 I agree with the last poster. The reception staff are a bit rude. Also, I had a blood test my last visit, and the nurse was not on top of her game. Her manner was brusque and I wound up with a hefty bruise to the area where she took blood. Dr. Greaney deserves better back-up than this. He's a good doctor and a good listener. He cares about your health.

:) Click to report rating    3/26/07 5 5 I really like Dr. Greaney. However, his office receptionists are rude (on many occasions). I am thinking of leaving his practice for this very reason.

:) Click to report rating    1/12/07 5 5 Why can't all Dr.'s be like Dr. Greaney? He's a genuinely good human being who really cares about his patients. He's a great listener, has a wonderful sense of humor and I always feel like I'm OK when I leave his office. And did I mention he's easy on the eyes? Yes, very handsome, indeed.
