OK, here's the facts that I've observed in 10+ years. It's nearly impossible to get an app't with Dr. Serrant. How it now works, you will almost always get directed towards his nurse practitioner. I fully understand she has a masters and a bachelors degree, but she's not a doctor or an internist. Also, his office staff is pretty apathetic in their responses when you call. If you get his old time office worker Betty, you may not ever get a return call. My pharmacist has trouble getting a response from them. Many times it takes 3 days, or you actually get lost in the shuffle. Dr. Serrant is a great guy, but it's hard to see him. That means something may go undiagnosed for too long, and that may affect the outcome.

I would recommend Dr. Serrant if you would like a knowledgable and personable doctor. He knows his stuff and is so compassionate toward his patients. I don't mind waiting a little while in his office for appointments, because I know I am going to get the same love and care that he is showing the other patients before me. At least he doesn't run in and run out, he actually listnes to you, your problems, and how you are feeling. His Nurse Practitioner, Danielle is awesome also. I am also happy with her bedside manner and knowledge. Dr. Serrant has an amazing laugh and a smile that lights up the room...makes a difference to me...I don't want to see a doctor that is grumpy and speedy all the time.

Dr.Serrant is a good dr. When you can get an appointment with him, I found out that he now does laser sugery and opened a knew office in Madisonville so now it takes up to three months to get an appointment! I still love him as my dr.
