I chose Dr. Slupchynskyj to do my face lift from the numbers of plastic surgeons I’ve seen since I decided to get my face lift done, and I was not mistaken. It was an excellent choice. From the moment I step into his office I immediately start fealing safe and comfortable. In my consultation he was very clear in explaining to me about what is involved in my face lift surgery and the healing process to end results.
I had my facelift done under local anesthesia, It was my choice and it was fabulous. I didn’t feel any pain and discomfort during the surgery. The staff is very caring, kind, knowledgeable as well as professional. I had very little bruising, absolutely no pain and was back at work after four days of surgery. I get a great, natural result. I’m highly recommend this practice to anyone considering face plastic surgery or any cosmetic procedure. Again, I highly recommend Dr Slupchynskyj and beleive-you will not be disappointed.

After 3 previous nose surgeries - 1985(UK), 1997 and 2002 (US) I went to see Dr. S as I noticed the results did not last, and the shape of the nose would look swollen. I saw Dr. S in 2005 and realized that if he had done the first rhinosplasty I would not have had so many surgeries, because the other Dr. were not experienced in "the african american nose". My photo is on his website. I would caution anyone to see Dr S first, as in my opinion, he is the best Dr for "nose jobs". I have also had botox done and is extremely happy with the results.

My rhynoplasty (more than a year ago) was a complete disaster. Dr Slupchinskij did not do what he promised during the consultation and left me with a turned-up nose (did not had a turned-up nose before), uneven nostrils and a huge scar. I understand that you get a scar after a surgery, but my scar is REALLY huge!!! I was not looking for a miracle when I decided to do this surgery, just wanted natural looking results. I truly believe I had a much better nose before the procedure with Dr Slupchinskij. He has poor skills and is very unprofessional. Think twice before choosing him and be careful reading the postings.

Did not have anything done by him. Only had a consultation. A consultation is essential. If you do not have a good feeling or meet eye to eye with the doc, then you don't proceed. My consultation with him was very rushy. He seemed to have a lot on his mind and was not focusing on me. The bottom line is I felt like he wanted the consultation over quickly so he could get my money. I feel if you can not take the time out in a simple consultation to make your potential patient like you, your goal, and make you feel safe, there's not much chance for the surgery to be successful. His imaging seemed rushy. It looked like a bird nose. His assistant also told me a fee, then he told me a larger fee. And when it came too discussing fees he tried to be nicer. But I was aware of it.

I had rhinoplasty done a week after my 18th birthday. I think he did an ok job on nose, however, he did leave a noticeable scar under my nose, and my nostrils are uneven. He didnt really do EXACTLY what I asked for, I payed ALOT of money. The staff and clinic was great BUT that DOES NOT mean the doctor is just as great!

If you want a skillful, caring, honest doctor, make an appointment with Dr. S. He performed blepharoplasty on my lower lids, lip augmentation, and botox (every 4 months). The results of all procedures have exceeded my expectations! I've also consulted with him on other facial issues...he not only takes the time, but gives straight answers. I will always be grateful to the woman who referred me to him back in 2004!

After an adult lifetime of unhappiness regarding my nose shape I embarked on a search, both here and overseas, for the "right" facial plastic surgeon. I conducted extensive research and eventually found myself at Dr Slupchynskyj's office in Manhattan. From the outset I felt at ease - the initial consultation was friendly, open and informative. I believed I had found the right doctor who would achieve a natural look. I had the rhinoplasty and I couldn't be happier with the final result. I think he is a medical genius. I am shocked by the negative coments on this site. To potential patients I advise that realistic expectations and your own patient care are very important aspects of facial plastic surgery. I followed all pre and post operative care instructions and I never experienced any pain, at any point. I wish I had done this years ago. I will certainly see Dr S. again should I have any other surgery. Lastly, I do highly recommend him as a pre-eminent specialist in his field.

Dr. Slupchynskyj did a brilliant job on my nose! I cannot thank him enough! My entire experience with Dr. S and his office has been very pleasant and I am so glad that I chose this doctor to be my surgeon! I felt very comfortable when I met him during my consultation, and he really took alot of time discussing the procedure with me and answering all my questions. After speaking with two of his past patients and seeing his many before and after photos of his work on the website, made my decision to undergo this surgery much easier because I knew I would be in good hands. I am now almost 5 months after my surgery, and I feel great, I look great, and I could not be more happy with Dr. Slupchynskyjs care.

All I want to say is that I am so grateful for everything Dr. Slupchynskyj and his staff have done for me! I received so much compassion and care. Dr. S helped change my life. He is honest and professional. The office staff is very friendly. They made me feel welcome and at home. They never made me feel rushed and took their time speaking withh me. They answered all my questions and made sure i have no doubts before proceeding with my surgery. I'm having another procedure in September and would not dream of going to any other Dr!. P.S. Dr S misguided me.Facelift by oleh Slupchynskyj in jul07 was biggest mistake of my life.I was 27.I had shown him my 18 yr old pic at time of consultation and was expecting skin tightining as in that.After the surgery I developed big hypertrophic scars all around my ears and there was hardly any skin tigheting.No one feels that I look younger.Even 6 months after surgery people ask me whether the scars are due to skin infection or if I had an accident.I look unnatural with the scars and am getting scar revesion.Dr has some good pics on his website.There may exist a posibility that these are fake.Other possibility is that Dr is inconsistent. It's far more pain to look unnatural.I am ready to send my pics and meet you to protect you from the mistake I did. I have added more details, pics of scars and my email id on many other places on net. you can find out my email id from net and mail me.I am ready to show you docs sent by doctors's institute to prove that surgery was done by Dr S.

Had a rhinoplasy...he left me with an ugly scar on the on my nose. It is painfully obvious to any one within 6-8 feet on my that I had my nose done. I get teased and ridiculed on a daily basis... He does not seem to care about scarring when I complained about the scar and the way people tease me daily he told me my after pic looks better than my before so I should enjoy it. How can you enjoy being scarred. His website claims african americans look more ethnic or natural or some nonsense...what is naural about a huge scar on your face....using him was the worst mistake of my life....

I am a 53 year old white female who had my upper and lower eyelids done by Dr. S three months ago. Prior to having surgery with him, I consulted with three other well-known Park Avenue surgeons and concluded that Dr. S was the most honest, straightforward, competent and compassionate surgeon with whom I met. Dr. S and his staff made me feel very comfortable and welcome. Everything went smoothly and on schedule - which was important to me since I was very nervous. Dr. S followed up with me to make sure everything was fine throughout my recovery. And now, three months later, I look fanstastic and the whole experience far exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Dr. S unequivocally.

I had the best rhinoplasty with Dr. S. I was not sure what to expect or what I needed to optimize my other features since this was so new to me. He and his staff guided me through the whole procedure step by step and made me feel very confident I was making the right decision. The result is fabulous and looks just as great as the imaged shot taken before the surgery. My entire experience with Dr. S has been flawless and I am much happier with my results. I decided at 42yrs old that it was time to have some corrective sugery done to my nose. I was not going to just pick the first Dr. and interviewed 4. When I visited Dr. Slupchynski the first time we discussed the proceedure that I wanted done. I felt comfortable talking to him and was satified with his credentials. When I decided that he would be the one who would do my surgery I was very happy that I made this choice. When I first arrived at his office his staff were very inviting and the Dr. made me feel at ease. I have completely healed and have never looked better. It was one of the best decisions of my life and having Dr. S perform the procedure was also a very sound decision. The intitial consulatation, the surgery and the follow-up appointments were handled in a very friendly and professional manner. I would have no hesitation recommending Dr. S to anyone of my friends or family. I have never felt or looked better.

My husband and I, both in our mid-40s, swear by Dr. Slupchynskyj's state-of-the-art methods and have visited with him, successfully, numerous times in the past three years for various facial (non-surgical) procedures. We have also recommended him to a few of our curious friends after hearing their comments on how youthful and refreshed we look! Our most recent visit with Dr. Slupchynskyj was about two weeks before New Year’s Eve — wanting to look our best for the holiday celebrations and, collectively, very much achieving this goal. His staff is helpful and courteous while he himself is easygoing, dependable, and personable... a rare trio of attributes to be found in any one doctor. My husband and I are confident in his skills and medical expertise or else we simply would not continue to trust our faces to him.

I had a nose job by Dr. Slupchyskj almost 5 month ago and am very happy with my result. His staff was very caring and always pleasant and helpful. I decided to go with Dr. Slupchyskyj because he seemed very knowledgeable when I met with him for the consultation, had very natural looking results which I noticed on his patient pictures on the website, he didn't rush me during the consultation like the previous doctor I had a consultation with, and after doing some searching on the internet I found out that it is important that the doctor is "board certified" which I found out that he has was, i think one of his staff even said he had two certifications. Anyhow, I felt comfortable with him, with the staff and in the end I am very happy with my experience with dr. slupchyskj. The only warning i have is about the waiting room where i spent more time than I wanted to. But now i don't mind the wait because it was worth it and I like my nose.

Dr. Slupchynskyj clearly lacked in surgical skill and knowledge. He made a jagged and deep cut around my eyes and and resulted a botched surgery. He did not make the incision where he told me he would do. He is very defensive about it. His office doesn't seem to have up-to-date equipments and tools. I am victimized by a desperate, unskilled,inexperienced and heavily advertizing plastic surgeon.

I have used Dr. S. for a mid face lift, then went back a year later for a face lift a brow line. He also did a blue peel and he did an excellent job. I look very natural which was the key for me. I look much younger than my age, His bedside manner is excellent he is honest, his skills speak for themselves. & I thank him for the self esteem he gave me. When I asked him about under my eyes a while back, I had some lines and extra skin I thought, he said not yet I still need to wait, and sent me home with a smile. How is that for honesty. He is truly special. I would be a reference for him anytime.

Dr. Slupchynskyj performed " The Slupchynskyj Lift" on 8/30/07. Excllent results. Jowls completely eradicated! Dr. "S" took his time in reviewing procedure and delivered exactly what he promised. In addition, for the past several years Dr. "S' has treated me with multiple "line fillers" which have produced wonderful results.I am especially impressed with the fact that this Physician will not perform procedures which will not be effective based on individual skin and tissue type. He will not "sell a procedure" to pad the bottom line. He will "perform a procedure" that is clinically appropriate and most effective for each patient. I have tried many of the " Famous Plastic Surgeons" in NYC. Bottom line: I have had the best results and the best experience with Dr. "S" and his entire staff. They are the "Consummate (and most effective) Professionals" in the field of Plastic Surgery.

Very pleased with the results and look of the rhinoplasty, however, it caused me to have a deviated septum which is resulting in another surgery. The staff and doctor are very friendly though and he did a good job that i am pleased with, It'll be even better when the swelling goes down and the septum gets fixed!!

It’s been four weeks since I had rhinoplasty and I am thrilled with the results. My new nose looks great! I look like the same person, just much more elegant. Also, my breathing has improved dramatically! It’s hard to believe the difference in the way I feel. Dr. Slupchynskyj is truly a miracle worker! He has an exceptional ability to provide individualized results. During my initial visit, Dr. S was very informative and changed my photos to show me what could potentially be accomplished. I was impressed with the fact that he devoted a lot of time to answer my endless questions with integrity. His qualifications, along with his caring, professional attitude, allowed me to feel completely at ease throughout the whole treatment. I would recommend Dr. S to anyone who wants a perceptive, genuine, and deeply knowledgeable doctor that will listen closely to your wishes. And moreover, to anyone who wants a custom result that is finely crafted specifically for them, not a one-size-fits-all!

I had an eyelid surgery done by this doctor. Dr. Slupchynskyj botched my surgery - he made my eyes asymmetrical with a jagged cut. My eyes still draw attention after a little more than a year since the bad surgery. His attitude was that I had an asymmetrical eyes even before the surgery. do not, do not go to Dr. Slupchynskyj for eyelid surgery.

My consultation appointment was scheduled for 11am, and I did not see the doctor until 12:15. I was out of the office by 12:45. He was very brief and quite pompous. He almost made me feel as if he did not want to ever perform the rhinoplasty that I went in for a consultation to ask questions about. The staff was wonderful, but at the end of the day, the staff is not the doctor who is going to do the procedure. The doctor is probably very knowledgable, however, I just did not know if I could trust him with the most central place on my face -- my nose.

I am very pleased with this doctor. I only went for a consultation and he was very helpful and knowledgeable in regards to my future procedure. I had two other initial consultations with two other plastic surgeons and he by far surpasses the 2 other surgeons. He listened to what I wanted as well as provided his professional expertise and input which enabled me to make a decision to have him perform my procedure.

Although I waited about 10-15 minutes from my appointment time, I am glad I did. The Dr. took his time with me and I had many questions regarding the multitude of injectible filler products out there, which work and don't and what would work for me. He injected Juvederm around my mouth/nose (naolabial he said) and I also tried botox for crows feet around my eyes. When I smile, my skin is smooth and not creased and crepey on the outside. I will return to this Dr. as am very happy with my reflection in the mirror now and friends say I look rested and refreshed.

I found Dr. S to be very knowledgeable and very caring towards his patients. He did a perfect job on my upper and lower eyes and forhead lift. I returned a few years later for a lower face lift. Everything looks very natural and I would certainly recommend him to anyone !! Great job Dr. S !!!!

I recently had rhinoplasty, face lift and brow lift. I came from South Carolina to have this procedure done and I am absolutely thrilled with the results and outcome. There was very little pain and only minor bruising. I don't know about some of these other ratings, but Dr. Slupchynskj and his staff were completely knowledgable, professional nd helpful to me with all the questions and concerns I had about these procedures. Again, I can't tell you enough how happy I am with the results and I would highly recommend Dr. Slupcynskyj. If I decide to have any more procedures done in the future, Dr. S. would be my doctor of choice.

A good doctor will honestly tell you whether or not he will do a procedure you went to see him for. When he decided not to do because he is not the best doctor for it, he will refer you to a specialist who has experience and expertise. Dr. Slupchynskyj's credentials looked good and the consultation seemed all right. Although his fee was high, I decided to have a surgery by him. Unfortunately, I didn't know he was an inexperienced plastic surgeon in the procedure I went to see him for. Dr. Slupchyskyj botched a surgery of mine. He made a huge incision and removed skin excessively. With an obsious scar, I look surgical and deformed due to reaction from the surgery which compounds the shortage of skin. When I told him about it, he became defensive and very difficult to talk to. Dr. S. was not honest with me about his lack of experience and skill. I do not recommend him. If anyone is considering a procedure to improve their look on the face, please take time to meet a GOOD specialist.

I searched long and hard for a Dr who could perform my rhinosplasty all my attempts were futile until I met Dr oleh Slupchynskyj, on my first encounter he was pleasnt, respectful and listened to my needs, he has a gentle soul, and I knew then without a doubt I was safe with him performing my surgery. When I saw the final result of my rhinoplasty I was in awe, I didn't think it was possible to achieve perfection, I was not looking for any unrealistic expectation but he far exceeded them, as an afro American I walked away with no scarring my nose looked natural, he has gifted hand, He his board certified times two. I highly recommend this doctor and his staff who were always pleasnt when dealing with me. Try him for yourself I am you would'nt be disappointed I am a very peased customer.

I think with all Dr's you will have satisfied patients and unsatisfied patients, but it is the way the Dr. reacts to your concerns which differentiates him from an outstanding Dr. to a major quack. Dr. S botched a surgery of mine. I then repeatedly called his office and no response. I do not think he is a good Dr. at all and an even worse person.

After waiting for so many years, I choose Dr. Oleh Slupchynskyj, to do my septo/rhinoplasty surgery and I am very happy with the results. He is very professional, and knowledgeable in his areas of expertise. Frankly speaking he is a genius. His staff is very kind and helpful. It seems to me that someone is trying to malign his name and reputation for their own benefit. (To them I say life is a circle). I do recommend him to anyone who is looking at doing any facial plastic surgery. Might I invite those supposedly disgruntled patients, that it is in your best interest to inform yourself, ask relevant questions, and ensure that you follow instructions as it relates to your healing process. He is double board certified which could only be gained by excellence and hard work. With respect to his demeanor, he is very responsive, kind natured, I found him very easy to talk with, this also speaks for the fact that he does lend his time and expertise for charity work. I had a rhinoplasty with Dr.Slupchynskyj 3 years ago and was pleased with the results afterwards and am still today. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and patient. In fact, I was disturbed reading the negative comments other people had posted. I am still a patient of Dr. Slupchynskyj and have other procedures since then. The doctor is consistent and I am always pleased with my results and his staff is consistently helpful. I highly recommend Dr.S and look forward to my next procedure.

I recently found this site and much to my suprise found my Plastic Surgeon on the site. I was not happy to see negative ratings. It is frustrating to see that people do not take more responbility for their actions. Plastic surgery is not just about the surgeon, but also about the patient and their EXPECTATIONS. I was impressed that Dr. S took the time to use computer imaging to show me a potential outcome and then further explained that this was not a guarantee, and furthermore told me that everyone heals differently. I am not a perfectionist, but a realist. I am happy to say that I had revision rhinoplasty by Dr. S. He fixed a problem that was created by another plastic surgeon.Dr. S was very careful to explain the downside to rhinoplasty surgery to me and I took the chance and am VERY happy with my results.

I had septum/rhinoplasty surgery with Dr. S. Based on his website and before and after pictures it look very promisable. However, he is not consistent. I have a deep scar on my left nostril that some doctors are appalled to see. He rasped alot of my bridge and looks as if my nose has been pushed in. I am seeking revision now.

Despite pre-surgery consultation, his reputation you find on search engines, and referrals from others, a patient still must do homework on a doctor. I learned a lesson in a hard way. I look unnatural after a procedure done by this doctor. I had to see another doctor. This time, I found a true expert on the procedure I had. He couldn't believe what the first doctor did to me and advised to wait at least a few years for a revision surgery. Check if your surgeon is an expert on the procedure you're considering. Ask him a poin-blank question on how many cases he has performed on the procedure you're considering. Do not take words from his patients or staff who had a different procedure than the one you are interested. A surgeon may be good at one procedure, but not all procedures he provides in his practice. A plastic surgery is irreversible. If you are going to have it, do it right, the first time, by a truly experienced specialist.
