:) Click to report rating    11/21/09 5 4 4 5  Outstanding Neurosurgeon. His english is a little broken for 20 years of practise but his hands and skills are untouchable. The best in his field. I ask an RN about his skill and she ntoed that 2 other Neuro's had their surgery done by YY. That speaks volumnes alone. He's as good as it gets!

:(      6/8/08 4 4 1 1  I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Dr Yamamoto recommended immediate surgery, he also told me radation was not a good option. I decided to get other opinions. All 4 of the other surgens said surgery was a bad idea because of where the tumor was and the fact I had no symptoms. All of the doctors recomended radiation. I had Gammaknife surgery and was out of the hosiptal the same day. Had I listened to Dr. Yamamoto there is a good chance I would not be here today.

:) Click to report rating    4/2/08 5 4 5 5  My brain tumor was found Mar 5, surgery with Dr Yamamoto was Mar 20th, hospital release Mar 25, driving and living normally by Mar 30. His original expectation of surgery would have removed my olfactory nerves, shaved part of my brain, and involved a membrane removal from my quadricep. I left with brain, sense of smell and quadricep completely intact due to his expertise and ability to adjust surgery based on what he found.
