Dr. saavedra is a very blunt doctor, he tells you exactly like it is. However he is very good and he performed one of my endo surgeries and was very compasionate and understanding. I have been going to this practice for about 12 years and they are very good.

Dr. Saavedra is possibly the worst OBGYN that I have ever seen. We recently relocated to Tampa and this is my fourth pregnancy. I was NOT IMPRESSED in any way with this brash, uncaring, weird man. I hesitate to even call him a Doctor. RUN -RUN - RUN away from this practice. I have severe pregnancy related migraine headaches and this Dr. refused to help me. He referred me to a neurologist - which is fine however, he refused to even talk with me about this problem EVER. He is in it only for the money - PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS AWFUL PHYSICIAN!

The Dr prescribed antibiotics for me that I'm deathly allergic to. The pharmacy pointed that out to me. I had him paged and he got mad that I interruped his evening and yelled at me that HE was the Dr not me and that he doesn't make mistakes!! About 30 minutes later I got a call saying that something else was called in for me, no apology. At another visit, I scheduled a month in advance to have an IUD changed. When I got to the office the nurse told me they don't keep them in stock, and to have my well woman visit and come back for the IUD. Two visits..two co-pays? No way!! I left the office with her chasing me out into the parking lot begging me to come back because the Dr would be mad at her if I left. I told her to keep the copayment, but don't dare charge my ins co for the visit because I'm going elsewhere from now on, then called Cigna immediately to advise them of what happened so they wouldn't process a false claim if it came though. What an ordeal!!!!
