This doctor diag me having a miscarriage, and I took her word for it. I am just glad that I was not a very outgoing, over active, drug using person, because if I was my baby would have probably been born dead or born with multiple disabilities. I would not go back to her to save my life.

I have to agree with the many other posts. I felt like I was a number to this doctor. She was unfriendly and had a very cold personality. I was not told that my lab results would come via mail, so I waited for over a week for thyroid function results. My insurance company was double billed. The staff seemed to be more concerned with making sure I signed the agreement to pay for charges my insurance company may not pay for saliva testing than my health. I did not feel my health was the primary concern to anyone in this office--Dr Allison included. Hopefully others will read these posts and come to their own conclusion.

I had a terrible experience with the doctor. She was not nice and acted like I was waste of her time. Very disappointing! I started having hot flashes after I visted her and went to a different doctor this week. The new doctor couldn't believe the amount of hormones she had put me on and said he has seen other patients of hers with the same prescription. She is terrible!

This is absolutely the worst doctor's office I've ever dealt with. Lots of little administrative incompetencies lead to a nightmare trying to get my prescription refilled. Then when I finally did get the refill called through to Target the doctor blamed the lateness on me. Plus, I was charged $200 for the nurse to take blood work. I never saw the doctor. Dr Allison is not friendly, not helpful, and was always in a rush. She seemed irritated the entire time we were talking. And the office staff forgot to put paper in the fax machine which caused me two hours of waiting at Target for my refill at which point I had to go home because the doctor's office had closed for the weekend. It was just a nightmare.

Dr. Allison did not strike me as very personable, and all of my questions were brushed off as unimportant and imaginary, as though there were no real reason that I was in to see her. When I asked for certain tests to be done, she dismissed the requests, because "due to my age, it was highly unlikely that I could possibly be suffering from the condition I was concerned about." Based on that one visit with Dr. Allison, I promptly chose a new OB, despite the fact that I had been told that she is highly knowledgeable in her field - her interaction with patients is just not my cup of tea, and I felt disrespected as a patient.

DR.Allison is very knowledgable and caring. She is a good listener and concerned about the whole human being. Apmts are always easy to get and she is prompt. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Allison has provided me with much better alternatives for my HRT. She is very thorough in her explanations of my lab results and has always taken the time to address my questions.

I have to agree strongly with the other reviewers. I've always picked female GYN over males all my life and this doctor was worst than any male doctor I had ever seen. NO BEDSIDE manner and was completely rough. It was an unpleasant experience.

i called this clinic enquiring if they were taking any new patients,the response by the person answering the phone was just horrible ,so cold when you ask questions,sounded like by talking to this lady on the phone you were actually wasting her time.i promised myself that if that was the last clinic on this side of town i would not care to go there.

I do not look forward to going back to this office. I agree that Dr. Allison has no bedside manner. She is cold and indifferent. Given her specialty, it is particularly upsetting that she doesn't do more to make her patients feel at ease.

Dr. Allison claims to be experienced, but if you want someone who will help you feel comfortable, look elsewhere. As a registered nurse I was appalled by her bedside manner. I've never seen her smile, and she comes across as very arrogant, as if you're wasting her time. I made the mistake of going to her for a second time, thinking maybe I was overreacting. She was equally as uncaring during that visit. She informed me during our first meeting that my lab results would be mailed to me. After I didn't receive them I was told I had to make another appointment with her so we could review them. Once I asked for a generic form of my BCP and again was told to make an appointment. A change in my BCP is no reason for another visit when I had just seen her two weeks previous. I get the impression that she is unconcerned about the amount of money her patients spend for their health care by scheduling unneeded appointments. I later talked with a co-worker who had an equally bad experience.

I would urge women to look for another doctor if you want to be treated respectfully and with compassion. She may be very skilled and knowledgable but her attitude and people skills leave a lot to be desired. I felt like my concerns were brushed off as unworthy of her attention.

Dr. A is very knowlegable. She is concerned about her patients and makes you feel at ease. She dismisses no symptom, and does a detailed exam. Her staff is friendly and because the office is small they really get to know the patients.

She is very intelligent and listens to her patients. The office is now all female staff and patients which is a better environment for this kind of visit. Improvements have been made in the office including upgrading to cloth gowns.
