2/21/13 1 2 1 1 I had a horrible experience at this doctors office. My appointment was scheduled on her day off, but she was there so she took me. After a few minutes of probing she told me I had an anal fissure gave me some meds and sent me on my way. I was excited I thought she had solved what 5 other Drs failed to solve. The issue stopped for about a week and then continued on. Later I get a phone call from them telling me that they do not accept my insurance and I am completely responsible for the bill after telling me that they do and taking my copay. After months of arguing they lowered the bill to 200 because I can only assume that they realized their wrong doing . I still am not satisfied because I am an unemployed veteran who is in college and I waited years to get this issue fixed until I had medical insurance only to go to a doctor that told me they take my insurance and did not.

7/19/12 4 5 5 5 Dr. Lorber is simply amazing. She's friendly, educated, and kind. Before my very first appointment with her, we sat in her office to review my medical history and the issues that I was experiencing that brought me to her. Her bedside manner is tremendous. I HIGHLY recommend her!

9/16/11 5 3 5 5 Dr Lorber is amazing. I am a difficult patient, and she knew exactly how to handle me. She was the 1st dr that ever took me into her office and discussed my issues and spent over an hour with me answering questions and was able to calm me when I was being irrational and worrying too much (which is exactly what I need) She makes you feel so comfortable when the situation you're in is probably the most uncomfortable ever. She called me back right away when I was freaking out after my surgery. She fixed something my first dr didn't even diagnose right and she did my surgery 8 month pregnant with twins and assured me I would be completely fine before she went on maternity and I was! She was a miracle worker!

4/27/11 5 5 5 5 THE BEST EVER...She has helped my daughter immensely. The best bedside manner I have ever seen in all my years. My daughter has a complicated case and Dr. Lorber was able to reassure her that everything would be fine and IT WAS!!!

12/19/08 3 2 3 3 Was running late for her appt and left me twice to take a phone call. Not esp friendly. The main issue I had with her though was that she did an unannounced rigid sig which was very painful. I was stunned she did not tell in me advance what she was going to do. I thought it was going to be a simple rectal exam. Needless to say I was a bit overwhelmed with this surprise and in response to my reaction she told me that she is a terrible patient as well. On the plus side, she did start me on meds that helped and she did return calls when I had questions. The rigid sig surprise, however, was something I cannot forget.  Respond

12/1/08 3 3 3 3 My intense degree of pain after surgery was virtually ignored by both the doctor and staff. Little or no sympathy, or methods of relieving the pain were suggested. I asked for the impacted stool to be removed thru the use of anesthsia which existed before surgery. Dr. loeber did not even suggest such a procedure and instead inserted various enemas into me which resulted in pain I will never forget. Phone calls for renewal prescriptions were not returned on two occasions. Dr. Loeber strikes me as a nice decent person who with me, gave me more credit at enduring pain than I can actually do. I would never had had this surgery in this fashion if I had the chance to investigate the various methods, that produce fever painful complications.

7/29/08 5 5 5 5 Dr. Lorber is an angel!! She is very caring and dedicated to her patients - tries to make the situation of the "problem" as easy as possible and will do whatever it takes to make the pain go away - she goes way and beyond the "normal" guidelines of care for her patients - She is one of the best doctors I have ever met - she truly is a blessing to my mom! Thank you for all you have done for her.  Respond
