:) Click to report rating    11/13/09 5 5 5 Wow, I've been going there for almost ten years. I feel she does listen to me and I have never experienced any arrogance. I have been to other doctors and I have stayed with her because of the care and the professionalism. As with anything, if you don't like it, you have the choice to stay or leave. I would not stay there for ten years if it was dreaded and miserable. I question why others would! That is crazy to me. Take responsibility. She's a doctor and human like the rest of us. I feel she has listened to what I had to say regarding my symptoms and my care, and did not push a procedure on me that she felt I needed and I didn't think I did.

She does not respect the fact that patients take an active role in understanding and making decisions about their own health and will belittle your desire to do so. Staff is rude. All are focused on generating maximum $$ for the practice. Make no mistake, this is a BUSINESS. If you are looking for a Doctor, look elsewhere.

:( Click to report rating    5/25/09 1 1 1 After years of trying to maintain consistency with one doctor I had to give up on gidday. She recommended phen phen 2 months before it was recalled for heart valve issues that can kill you. She put me on HRT and I had a period 3 weeks a month for a year until I took myself off. She said I had chronic sinusitus when all I needed to do was use saline. When I had a reation to cholesteral meds she didn't believe me.The practice is a pressure cooker with high turnover and tons of mistakes.I can't believe she is teaching med school. She is unfeeling, rushed and completely inappropriate in her dealings with you if you don't bow down and surrender any partnering of your own healthcare by doing exactly what she dictates. Doesn't she realize that we have only one body to listen to and she has 2000 patients? How can she be right all the time when she doesn't listen and spends alot of her time recruiting new doctors and staff because her negative attitude keeps running people off?

:( Click to report rating    4/21/09 1 1 1 Gidday is an absolute disgrace to her profession as well as her piers.She was not only condescending but verbally abusive. We confided in her with very personal issues that we were very clear that this information was to be strictly off the record and low and behold we found that she had put all the detailed information in our sons records. When we confronted with this information she was very indifferent. We demanded that she remove this information and she assured us that this would be taken care of. What she did was made another entry into patients record in that sensitive area and put in bold uppercase letters and underscored with 3 lines that we wanted this information.removed. I suggest that anyone that has negative issues with this vile individual to file a formal complaint with the appropriate agencies as well as to putting in as many blogs possible. Tell all your family, friend and neighbors about your experiences with this person and clinic.

Her staff is always rude and it usually takes a few days and a few times calling for them to actually return a phone call. They are rude and very impatient. Dr. Gidday spends the entire visit talking about herself. Always a bad experience.

:( Click to report rating    7/6/08 1 1 1 The staff at Lisa Gidday's Arapahoe Internal Medicine nearly killed my wife with bad decisions and a lack of simple human compassion. I'm not shocked to hear that someone else has had an awful experience there. E. Lincoln wrote "Shame on the cranky patients who think they should be the center of the universe for their doctor. You have no idea of the time and concern Lisa Gidday puts into her practice." No, that's not the way it was for us. We called repeatedly for critical test results. The Arapahoe Internal Medicine staff had access to those results for over 24 hours before my wife collapsed and had to be transported to the hospital by ambulance. Then, they lied and said that the lab hadn't delivered the results in a timely manner. I know that Lisa Gidday didn't care a bit about my wife's health. After her staff had caused my wife's hospitalization, nobody from Arapahoe Internal Medicine had the concern to place a call to ask how my wife was doing

:( Click to report rating    4/8/08 2 1 1 I have had dr. gidday for 10 years now she is a BAD doctor, i went into her office and shall her np my foot was sollwen and red (i have a history of blood clots) they told me i had alethtes foot, needless to say 5 days later after sucking the pain up i was put in swedish and airlifted to PSL after three months i no longer have toes on one foot. Unless you want the worst care possible DO NOT go to her. I have finally switched doctors.

:( Click to report rating    2/28/08 2 1 1 I just want to say that I totally agree with almost all the postings here. Lisa Gidday should not be in the field she is in. No bedside manner, does not communicate with her patients and treats her staff poorly. This Dr. thinks very highly of herself, and I do not feel she puts her patients first. The only thing this Dr. seems to care about is the mighty dollar. She is always overbooked. I would not recommed this Dr. to my worst enemy either. I know all these things first hand, as I was once an employee and have many horror stories about this practice.

:( Click to report rating    2/7/08 1 1 1 After sitting on my wife's test results for over 24 hours (nearly resulting in her death), Dr. Gidday's staff had the gall to submit their bill to our insurance company. After my wife spent nearly a month in the hospital (due to Arapahoe Internal Medicine's mistakes and lack of simple human compassion), they sent us a bill for her co-pay from the office visit when the tests were done. Lisa Gidday's staff seems to be poorly trained and lacking in compassion. More than one of them also have problems telling the truth. The REALLY scary part is that Lisa Gidday teaches at the CU Med School. Based on my experiences at Arapahoe Internal Medicine, Lisa Gidday has NO business TEACHING young doctors!

She maintains one of the most well run medical offices I have even been to. The staff is helpful and courteous. The other doctors in the practice are at the top of their game as well.

:( Click to report rating    8/23/06 1 1 Late??? You should be happy she was just late! In our case, she billed for an appointment she never kept. A P.A. did the exam, but charged at the doctor's rate. What a scam. Here's a tip. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH ARAPAHOE INTERNAL MEDICINE!

:( Click to report rating    3/8/06 1 1 I have to totally agree with the last reviewer. I was waiting an hour for an appointment in an exam room. No sign of the Doctor. A nurse came in and I asked how long it would be. An hour and a half after I went into the exam room, she came in to scold me for not being patient. Holy cow! I wish I had got up and left, but I didn't. She proceded with the exam and she was surley as can be. I think she need to take a class on bedside manners. She seems to think very highly of herself.

:( Click to report rating    9/22/05 1 1 Has to be one of the worst doctors I've encountered. Very RUDE, communicates only through her nurse; staff nurses are equally poor - I would never recommend her to my worst enemy. Very arrogant, doesn't listen, no compassion - just a creep!
