Dr. Vitale prescribed medication to me that negatively changed my life. Before that point, I had been going to Dr. Vitale's practice for 16 years and I thought she cared about me, but thru her actions I realized that she didn't. I recently heard that she passed away and hopefully I can begin to heal from my experiences with her and her practice.

Quickly in and quickly out. You are just a number in this large practice. I started going to Dr. Vitale about 10 years ago. She use to be nice and knowledgeable. Through the years, she has gotten rude and insensitive. She threw unnecessary hormone prescriptions and expensive tests at me and tried to force me into having hysterectomy - wrong diagnosis! Don't waste your time and stay away from this office.

I had an embedded IUD and was told to just deal with my pain; it wasn't that bad. I will never go to this practice again.

Dr. Vitale has such a demeaning attitude towards her patients. I was with the practice for 2 complicated pregancies and would not go back or recommend her to anyone! She made fun of me during doctors visits that I gained weight and shows no compassion or people skills. She prescribed medicine for my first pregnancy and then told me it was useless "it doesn't do anything anyway". Being in and out of the hospital, I met many nurses and all agreed she has the WORST bedside manner and conducts herself very unprofessionally. The rest of the staff was good but always waiting long due to other appointments that ran over or emergencies.

I did not see Dr. Vitale anymore after my first appointment with her because her cold and uncaring attitude. I would not spend my money to see this kind of doctor.

Dr. Vitale is very experienced.However, I will not return. The biggest problem I had was obtaining test results.The standard response is they are "normal."Unfortunately I found out in the worst way what one professional consideres"normal"maybe fatal elsewhere.Both the doctor and office staff will refuse to show you test results or refer you to specialists.Also, the only available childbirth offered is natural.No painkillers are authorized in this practice.If you ask ahead of time, they say don't worry you will be fine.Your opinion or "gut instinct" will be immediately discredited.Also,you will be pressured to be induced at this practice,they discourage letting things happen naturally.I endured this for three pregnancies with the worst possible outcome on the third.The practice has grown very large in the past years and will not have the time or attention for anything but a smooth pregnancy&natural childbirth on their schedule.Don't be afraid to look elsewhere and be confident w/yourDr!

I absolutely agree with the review posted in march that Dr. Vitale is extremely demeaning and degrading in both her words and her attitude. She has no sympathy for her patients, does not care if they are in pain and is extremely RUDE. If you don't want to be in pain, DO NOT go to this doctor. She SUCKS!!!! I had my C-section with Dr. Vitale and hated her. I was 10 cm dilated and pushed for 4 hours and in those 4 hours Dr. Vitale came in one time for 2 minutes to examine me/check on me. The one time that she came, she started blaming me that I am not doing a good job pushing and if I don't push harder, she will take me for C-section. She was VERY rude and had a really bad attitude.I hated her the most because I told her pretty clearly that I wanted epidural during my pushing process and she refused to give me epidural towards the last one hour of my pushing.I kept on telling the nurse that I need the epidural, but Dr. Vitale did not approve of giving me more epidural.She left me in pain

I had a problem that needed to be checked out. I asked for help and I could not believe what I heard from her mouth. She is extremely demeaning and degrading in both her words and her attitude. I would only recommend her to my worst enemy.

DR VITALE IS THE BEST. SHE DELIVERED MY BABY YEARS AGO AND I WANTED TO GIVE A THUMBS UP REVIEW AND SINCE MOVING TO CA I HAVE NOT SEARCHED FOR AN OBGYN YET BUT I HOPE TO FIND ONE JUST LIKE HER. BE PREPARED HOWEVER TO BOOK YOUR APPT WITH HER MONTHS IN ADVANCE BECAUSE SHE IS THAT POPULAR AND WELL-LIKED!

Dr. Vitale performed my amniocentesis and C-section. My baby and I had no complications and are healthy. I think she's a highly competent doctor and would request she deliver my next baby. There were also 2 nurses in the room as well as the ultrasonographer during the amnio. They take precautions and take these procedures seriously.
