30/10/13 5 5 5 5 I chose Dr. Bressler based on the ratings on this site. I am very happy that I did. To start with his secretary has to be the best there is, super friendly and efficient. Dr. Bressler saw me in quick order and did his best to see that I was attended to as quick as possible. I would say that his mind works non stop, I felt very confident in having him assess my problem. He was not able to fully remove my large polyp due to underlying issues. He immediately put my name in to be seen by one of the top colon surgeons. I personally would recommend him and I am sure will be seeing him for follow ups in the future.

23/10/13 5 5 5 5 Dr. Bressler is truly an amazing Doctor. He took the time to explain things to me and really made me feel as though he cared about my issues. He listened to me and allowed me the time to go through my list of questions. He is so knowledgable and I believe that he really is an expert in his field. Yes, he has a long wait list and a very busy office but Dr. Bressler is worth the wait.  Respond

07/10/13 4 3 2 2 Especially after the ratings he's received on this site, I was very disappointed by Dr. Bressler. He was rushed, brusque, and didn't really engage with me. He offered very little insight and gave very little help. I had a short list of questions I wanted to ask, but felt so rushed that I didn't ask them.  Respond

03/02/13 5 5 5 5 Dr. Bressler is a very polite and caring man, I have never been so excited to see a doctor before. I know that when I sit down in his office that he will tell me the truth and even the things that are hard to hear he makes sure that I am feeling comfortable and safe. I also really like how even though he has tons of clients he always remembers what has been going on in my life and conversations that we had in the past. He always asks about my life which makes me feel comfortable and at ease, he really seems to care about his patients and how they are doing in all areas of their lives. When I go for my appointment I don't have to wait long and the staff are open to answering any questions that I have about procedure prep and appointments. Dr.Bressler is an amazing doctor.

14/09/10 5 5 5 5 I have a difficult, nearly unmanageable case of IBD -- even Dr B, with all his powers, hasn't been able to pinpoint exactly what's going on in my gut. BUT, he hasn't given up trying. Each time I see him, he has a new idea. He listens to everything I say, considers the options, and clearly cares about my outcomes. Even when he doesn't have all the answers, he's never arrogant and makes every effort to consider not just my disease, but my entire quality of life, which is a refreshing change from the first GI doc I saw when I was initially diagnosed. Absolutely great doctor.  Respond

13/06/10 5 5 5 5 Dr. Bressler is amazing. He gave me my life back. I was wasting away on prednisone and switch GI's and right away he got me on a medical regime that helped me manage my UC. He is aggressive with treatment, nice, kind, understanding, approachable... he always calls you back as soon as possible and he genuinely cares about getting you your health back. Dr. B is the best in the west... and probably the whole world come to think of it. Go B-man!!  Respond

21/05/10 4 4 5 5 Excellent doctor - Harvard Graduate which obviously tells you something. Have found him to be sincere, honest and forthright in his answers. He always pays close attention to what I am saying (which is rare by doctors in this day and age.) Very glad he's my GI.  Respond

30/04/10 5 5 5 5 I have been battling gastric problems for nearly a decade and more serious issues for approximately 4 years. I have been passed off from doctor to doctor, emergency room to emergency room (literally!). The lastest comment was that I would be referred to the Chronic Pain Clinic - I am 31 years young .... chronic pain is no way for a person of my age should be living. Dr. Bressler, took the time investigating deeper into the cause and has not let up. We will concur this together, I am certain of it now that i have him on my side, I know I will have my life back very soon.  Respond

05/03/10 4 4 5 5 Since the age of 17, I have seen 5 diffrent doctors regarding my colitis and about 2 years ago I was sent to Dr.Bressler as a 2nd opinion doctor.Since then I have not gone back to anyone else since Dr.B, has been the only straight forward and honest Dr.I have seen. Not to mention that he has helped me feel 80% better and I am sure that I will feel 100% soon. THANK YOU VERY MUCH Dr.Bressler for being so caring, understanding and patient with me.  Respond

26/02/10 5 4 5 5 Doctor Bressler performed a difficult procedure on me and was very successful at completing with excellent results. Had I been attended to by someone else, the procedure may not have been completed due to complications. Thankyou Dr B for being so thorough and precise. You probably saved my life down the road and now I have real insight into my health and a healthy plan to follow and believe in.  Respond

19/10/09 4 2 4 5 Dr B. is very good and knowledgable and great at returning calls. BUT He should apologize to patients when he is running late. It feels dismissive and not respectful, even though it is easy to understand he is thorough with each patient.  Respond

24/03/09 5 4 5 5 There isn't much to be said that hasn't already been said. Dr. Bressler is a fantastic doctor. The scores for punctuality are attributed to the time he dedicates to each and every patient, so he can hardly be held responsible if I have to wait an extra few minutes to see him. He replies all of my emails and takes time out of his busy days if something remotely urgent comes up. I'm very lucky to have been referred to him!  Respond

07/03/09 4 4 5 5 Good doctor, knowlegable and nice. The omly downside is that he is so busy that its hard to fit all our questions in the scheduled 15 min time slot so you leave feeling rushed and that you forgot to ask something.  Respond

27/05/08 4 5 5 5 I have found Dr. Bressler to be a very knowledgeable and caring physician. I like that he reviews the latest research studies with me and encourages me to participate in decisions about my treatment. He also encourages me to call him with any concerns and always returns my phone calls. I am very glad to have him as my doctor.  Respond

09/03/08 5 4 5 5 Dr. Bressler is caring and kind. He makes himself available to patients at all times and genuinely cares about my health. Dr. Bressler takes the time to answer all my questions no matter what the question. He is very knowledgeable in his area of specialty. When I was very ill, he made sure that I was able to get treatment as quickly as possible at the hospital. I appreciate all his efforts in my care. When one treatment doesn't work for me, he is active in finding another treatment that will be suitable for me. He is not the type of doctor that says "come back in a couple of weeks if you don't get better". When I don't feel well, he gives me options to consider and we decided the best course of treatment together. The occasional wait is definately worth it to visit him in his office as he allows as much time as I need for my visit.  Respond
