I started seeing Dr.Ramey when I was pregnant with twins over 4 years ago. He was referred to my by my fertility specialist who is also top notch. He is very knowledgable, patient, kind and very responsive. Most importantly he listens and gives patients time to talk to ensure that he really has the full story on the factors that are impacting a patient's health.

I just read a Washington Post article on websites for rating doctors. It made me visit this one to see whether my last two internists were on here. I am a current patient of JR. He's fantastic. My former internist was terrible, but more than a few of my co-workers were patients of JR. On their advice, I switched to him. He's been great. At his first physical visit, he spends a good deal of time to get to know you. He's always responsive, and very pleasant. I'm so happy with JR that even after I left my last job and my insurance changed, I still go to see him. This, despite the fact that JR does not take my current insurance, which now pays only 80% of his bills. He's that good.

An extraordinary doctor. Twice in the years I have been going to him, Dr. Ramey has gone light years beyond what is normal and necessary. At least one of those times, it probably saved my life.
