I was please with Dr. Buell until I got sick beyond medicine 101. I had to go to CareNow because I couldn't get in to her office. As I got worse I saw a NP two days later and called every day for 3 day telling the receptionist I was worse. She told me to go to the ER. I was admitted and stayed for 7 days. Dr. Buell dismissed me after 10 PM with extremely elevated bp and elevated glucose I immediately started my search for a new doc and only had to go to 2 before finding one who ran extensive test and refered me to specialist. I now have several issues of which several result from the medicines Dr. Buell ordered while I was in the hospital. Stay away from Dr. Buell unless you have the common cold or flu! If you have anything which isn't textbook you'll suffer from her treatment if not from the hours of waiting to see her.

She has a helpful and courteous group of nurse practitioners, which is a plus since that is who you will see every time after your fist visit. Also on the down side she is slow to recommend specialist. She opts instead to order multiple costly tests, that a specialist would find unnecessary.

Worst primary care physician EVER. I work at a hospital full-time and have NEVER witnessed this poorly run of an office. It took 3 HOURS to see this doctor and she spent 2 minutes with me. The ladies at the front desk were even more unimpressive and were unhelpful from the very beginning. How VERY disappointing.

I'm ranking service as "poor" becuase of the wait times. The office is poorly managed, and the wait times are a symptom of this. Medical attention is great however. The office would do well to offer e-mail corespondance to patients, place penalties for late appointments (instead of penalizing those that come early or on-time) for example, see them on a work-in basis only. I love the equipment in the office and the staff is very friendly.

The wait time is very long...sometimes 1 1/2 hours and then when you get called to the back you have to wait another 45 minutes to an hour.I feel like I am rushed through my visit and very insensitive to my weight issues. I have been a patient of Dr. Buell's since 1999 and have only seen her twice. I really want to find another doctor but don't want to start all over with someone else.

I haven't seen Dr Buell herself in a long time. I do see her PA Rebecca alot, however. She's very attentive, personable, and her concern for her patients shines through. I've had difficult health problems over the years, and when she needs help diagnosing, she does consult with Dr Buell before she prescribes or diagnoses me. I appreciate the attention, as well as her commitment to deliver good health care. The last time I tried to get in to see Dr Buell, the wait was well over two weeks, so i just see Rebecca.

Patient 10 years. Good at first. Have seen changes and none are good. Wait time is ridiculous. Now it is time to go. I have not seen Dr. Buell in years. Never available. Last visit I had she was curt and insensitive. Had a "get over it" attitude and a superiority about her. She also decided to stop renewing a serious medication I was on without telling me. She just would not return the call to the pharmacy. When I called the office, I was told it was cancelled because she will no longer prescribe it. I never received a call or letter informing me that it was being cut off and I could no longer take it. I assume that new research came out giving her reasons. I am accept being off of the meds. I guess there was a reason she will no longer prescribe it. I wouldn't know because she did not bother to tell me of the cancellation. It was not priority to tell me that I would be going off of it. I need medication so I have to find something. I will with a new Dr.

I haven't seen Dr Buell in 4 years since she decided to get into my personal business when I came to see her for an illness. The wait time is horrible and you cannot get an appointment same day..or even same week at times. Have seen Monica, the PA and love her. She takes time to see her patients and is very nice. I was sick a few weeks ago and went to CareNow. I was seen, given rx and out the door in 2 hours. Could never get that service in Dr Buell's office. How sad not to be better than an Urgent Care Center...not that it seems to matter to the doctor or staff. Dr Buell is no longer my family doctor and will continue to use CareNow when I am sick.

I have been a patient of Dr. Buell's for 8 years. Long waits-yes. But she ALWAYS takes time for me and answers my questions and takes care of me. She really does care and I have no problems being able to see her upon request.

The last time I saw Dr. Buell was 2003. Getting an appointment with her takes several weeks to a several months. Since then I have seen the Nurse Practioners. I have waited almost an hour to see the NP. I have had prescription meds called in to the pharmacy and the longest I waited was a day. There wasn't an immediate need for the medicine. As far as lab work, I recieved results within a week. Hopefully the individuals that caused delays for other patients is no longer an employee

Dr Buell's waiting time is unexcusably long. One and a half hours is the norm. Even when I am teh first appointment of the day. I have watched drug reps walk in and out of the office on every occasion while the patients wait to see her. I make my appointments when the office first opens in the office to minimize the wait. But I still have to wait over an hour. She no longer is my doctor.

Dr. Buell is our family doctor. Unfortunately, she is seldom the person who sees you when you have an appointment. Always the Nurse Practitioner. I haven't been in five years because a Nurse Practicioner diagnosed me with an ulcer and prescribed me medication. I was really pregnant - and the medication she prescribed was dangerous for my unborn. He's alive and well now, only because my gut told me to get a second opinion.

DR BUELL HAS BE A VERY GOOD DOCTOR TO ME AND MY FAMILY. I HAVE EVEN REFERRED MY FAMILY TO HER. ALL THOUGH I DON'T SEE HER VERY OFTEN, I DO SEE ON OF HER NP. SHE HAS 3 NPS BUT THERE IS ONLY ON I PREFER TO SEE. SHE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND TAKE HER TIME TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS. I WOULD RATHER WAIT A LONG PERIOD OF TIME TO SEE A DOCTOR WHO IS WILLINGLY TO TAKE HER TIME WITH ME AND MAKE SURE I GET THE CARE MY FAMILY AND I NEED. THAN BE PUT IN A ROOM THE DOCTOR COMES IN AND SAYS YOU HAVE THIS OR THAT GIVES ME A PRESCRIP. AND SAYS SEE ME IN TWO WEEKS. SO JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A BUSINESS SCHEDULE UNDER STAND HER'S YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY PERSON WAITING TO SEE HER.

Horribly LONG WAIT...over an hour (I'm a busy person too), completely unexcusable! Then even longer wait for me to undress for my PAP test (over 20 min). I put my clothes on and walked out.

VERY LONG WAIT 2+ HOURS EVERY TIME. WENT IN TO SEE THE NURSE PRACTIONER AND WAS MISSED DIAGNOSED WITH A SPIDER BITE ON MY TOE, IN REALITY I HAVE DIABETES. WAITED ALMOST A WEEK TO CALL IN MEDS FOR MY DIABETES AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE. ALWAY AN EXCUSE. WHEN CONFRONTED ABOUT THE LONG WAITS, SHE ALWAYS SAID SHE SPENDS TIME WITH HER PATIENTS, BUT THEN SHE WOULD SPEND MAYBE A MINUTE OR TWO WITH ME AND BE DONE. TERRIBLE ATTITUDE.

I will change docs. 1 hr wait time common, Can't comment about Dr. Buell herself b/c I only saw her once 4 yrs ago, every other visit has been w/ Nurse Practioner. Request for prescription not called in by nurse on a Friday, even though request was submitted at 1045am. Staff called me for the pharmacy's phone number at 4:30pm, but Pharmacy claims no call was received. Result: I have to wait till Monday for prescription. One cannot leave a message on the office phone. While in office heard unappropriate conversations taking place in the hall while I was awaiting to be seen. All female "treatment" staff makes me uncomfortable, not due to lack of skill or knowledge, only a personal preference. Nurse's possible neglegent failure to call in prescription is unexcusable and I will not return to this Doctor office. This is a good doctor office for people who are not often sick or in need of non-emergancy medical attention after the work day ends. My wife is also unsatisfied.

Extremely long waits. 2+ hours is not uncommon. Has NEVER returned a phone call. Prescription refills take days to process. This is the worst doctor I've ever had. Very impersonal. Just plain doesn't care.

Dr. Buell was a terrible doctor, I had a virus for several months that inflamed my lymphnodes and caused my liver cells to die at a higher rate than normal. After a few weeks of testing she decided that she had no idea what was going on with me, and decided that I should just come back in a month and see how things were going

Have been pleased with my care by Dr. Buell. She is helpful and knowledgeable. When given a new prescription, she always sends me home with at least a months worth of samples, which is very helpful. Her staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The only negative is the long wait for test results.

Cannot get calls returned by Dr. or staff re: urgent concerns. Received a positive pregnancy blood test result just over a month after bloodwork was done. Bloodwork results were revealed when I questioned nurse practicioner when I still had concerns and returned to the office for another appt. after completing bronchitis prescriptions. I am still concerned re: chest x-rays I was sent for the same day as bloodwork a month ago.

Consistently long waits. Generally 1 to 2 hours. Once waited over three hours for a ten minute office visit. Office staff doesn't return calls. Prescription authorizations take days to process. Annoying voice answering system with multiple menu selections makes it virtually impossible to speak with anyone in person.
