Dr. SImonte is a great doctor. I appreciate that he takes the time to explain things. One of my pet peeves is a doctor who acts like he's in a hurry & doesn't really have time for you. But Dr. Simonte gets three gold stars in my book. Would recommend him to anyone with asthma & allergy problems.

I think this guy is AWESOME. I don't understand the reviews that say he spends too much time with people. Who doesn't want a doctor to spend time w/you especially if this was your son, wife etc. He is so different from any other doctor I've seen BECAUSE HE SPENDS THE TIME needed! I see him regularly for my asthma & for my son's asthma. I think Dr. Simonte is caring and doesn't spend time "nonchalantly chatting" as stated below. I wonder if those are real reviews below because anyone who has seen him knows that he is all about caring for & treating his patients. Sometimes I wait to see him & sometimes I get right in. This is a doctor's office & things happen. I know he has had emergencies walk in off the street (since his office is at ground level)! If it was you or your child having an asthma attack, you want to go see him & not wait 4 hours in a ER. Also the front desk is as good as it can be. I've had calls when he has run late so I don't think those reviews are real. He's the best

Dr. Simonte is from a different era of medicine. Never once have I felt rushed during an appointment, and he's gone out of his way to give me the best service possible in however much time I've needed. He suggested that I use an air purifier in my apartment to combat the allergy patches that were forming on my face, and it worked perfectly. Thanks, Dr. Simonte -- Dianha

The Receptionist was very helpful in scheduling appointment and notifying of cancellation. However, upon entering the office (which is comfortable) the experience went quickly downhill. Waited for 30 minutes and finally got up to ask when I would see the doctor. Was assured that it would only be a few minutes. Finally shown to a room and waited another 5 minutes. When I came out of the room, I realized that the doctor was assissting yet another patient. Waited a total of 45 minutes and got no service. Was then informed that the office had been backed up all day. I asked why I wasn't called and asked to come in later if they knew they were backed up. The doctor was extremely defensive and not apologetic at all. Not respectful of patient's valuable time.

He is my regular allergist but last year I had a severe drug allergy (dentist gave me wrong meds). He squeezed me in, gave me meds, was concerned how I was getting home, called teh next day. He is great! My companys medical staff LOVE him!

One of the best doctors I've ever been to see. Dr. Simonte takes the time to listen to you and fully explains everything. If you are sick of impersonal doctors who are more interested in a patient's insurance copay than his health, Dr. Simonte is a great option.

Wow. After a bad experience with a so-so allergist, I switched to Dr. Simonte. He is a very caring and conscientious doctor and I highly recommend him. He has really helped me understand my allergies and live with them better. (Oh, and the shots are working too). His receptionist Alan also deserves high praise for being so helpful every step of the way. One small criticism: they are so nice they aren't very good about enforcing the no-eating rule in the waiting room. I once saw someone eating trail mix in there, which could be a nightmare for a patient with nut allergies.

I love Dr. Simonte. He's the best. He's super nice and super smart. He never makes you feel stupid for asking any question and he's very accommodating in terms of schedules. I wish I could see him for everything and not just my allergies.
