02/06/14 4 4 2 2 I sat in the examining room and noticed that the sheet on the examining table had not been changed so when Dr. Shahrokhi told me to lie on the bed I told him to change the sheet first. He seemed shocked at my request and justified that it was the previous elderly lady who just had her blood pressured tested. I said nothing but in my mind I thought, how do I know and it doesn't matter. Not only that, he didn't ask much about my cough and his prescription didn't stop my cough. I had to see a second doctor which finally stopped my 3 -4 week cough  Respond

27/01/14 3 1 1 1 I felt completely ignored from the moment I stepped in - there was no indication that this doctor had any interest in having a relationship with me; as a family doctor should. Theoretically, he would be my doctor for decades. . . but I will be switching as soon as possible. He omitted details when telling me about getting blood tests for the first time, and generally dismissed everything I said.  Respond

25/11/13 1 1 1 1 I was in his office with my father... I am personally very disappointed...my father was sick and because of his age he is very scared and getting nervous easily with any sickness...actually he did nothing for my father the time he was his patient.. we were there 10 times just for a referral that every time they were forgetting to send...we had waited 1 month for a referral..THIS DR DOES NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT CUSTODY ...after 1 month waiting for a referral he was shouting at my father telling that"what else can I do for you"...I am really sorry for him...this shouldn't be a Dr language...  Respond

10/06/13 3 3 3 3 Wow! I read most of the comments and above 95% are negative about Dr. Shahrokhi. I agree with them all specially he is only a money doctor and he is always in rush to wrap-up the visit. He does not listen and keep intrupting you. He is not suppposed to practice. He is also marketing for his next door pharmacy guy which is not professional. I am going to change my family doctor as he was not able to diagnose my issue. I discovered my problem by reading on internet and trying to explain, but he did not have patiance to listen.  See Responses

13/05/13 2 1 1 1 Hi, I went to see this doctor for a serious sports knee injury and basically got blown off. I was expecting to have him bend my legs or even stand up to see my balance, but nothing. I explained that I felt something pop and tear, and that symptoms were very symptomatic of an MCL or ACL tear. but he just touched my knee cap with 2 fingers for a split second, and said "pain meds, and physio"....thats it!! all it took was 15 seconds of an appointment..I asked for an MRI or xray referral and he said no, not for a few weeks. Meanwhile I cant even bend my leg more than 2 inches or sleep cause the pain is so unbearable. What kind of doctor does this? I just felt like he didnt care one bit, and rushed me out and pain meds were the answer.. I felt the need to sign up on this website and tell everyone about this guy and now I see TONS of negative reviews. Not surprised! I went to another doctor hours later and he said without a doubt its MCL and MRI is now scheduled. Please dont see this guy!

19/04/13 2 2 3 4 I think he is a good doctor, problem is he does not spend enough time with patient. I think he thinks about money a lot. Maybe not, but he is always late, in rush. He is knowledgeable and has good diagnosis skills. Needs to care more about his patients, otherwise he is a good doctor  Respond

27/03/13 2 2 1 1 "Dr." Shahrokhi should not be calling himself a doctor. My mother almost died because of his misdiagnosis. And my female friends were advised to get breast examinations (by him) when they had simply gone to him for common cold treatments. This guy does not care about his patients. He works to make money and he is unethical in his practice.  Respond

12/10/12 1 1 1 1 Terrible! I have never seen or heard of such un-caring, selfish, unprofessional doctor. He should not be called a physician. I wonder who gave him a license to practice this profession. He just cares about making the visit fee. Awful office management, uncaring doctor. Do not go there! I'd rather stay sick or wait in another clinic than seeing this doctor again. No wonder his clinic is deserted.  Respond

I've decided to change my family doctor ASAP. you can never trust this guy. what a waste of time & energy.  Respond

05/12/11 1 1 1 1 I wouldn't call him a doctor- a businessman fits him better, a very rude one. I pretty much share the same comments as others left here about him. He is indifferent, ignorant, and doesn't present a professional approach to his responsibilities as a GP. He barely hears you when you talk, and a patient can say he never reads their files. That’s why he ends up calling patients by a wrong name, which is very insulting. He takes his resentment towards the medical system that doesn't allow him to directly charge patients to his patients. Since he is not allowed to bill the patients (as it is common in his country) he doesn't care about treating people. Money is all that he knows unfortunately.  Respond

20/06/11 1 1 1 1 This person ( sorry cannot call him a doctor as he is NOT ) is the worse ever. Very rude to patients not caring at all and not helpful. Took my mom there who is suffering from a very bad dementia and he treated her so bad that he made her cry!!! He has no knowledge of anything. He is all about money. If you ask him to spend time to find what is wrong with you, he will tell you that he does not get paid enough and cannot spend more than 5 minutes with you. His staff are very rude as well!!!!Please do not waste your time and care about your health and do not go to this person for anything. We told him that we have found another doctor so please transfer our medical record to her office but he still refuses to do so after 2 weeks and keeps coming up with the most stupid excuses that the person that does that in his office is away for a month and nobody can do that!! He does not care that my mom is a very ill person and cannot wait for a month for her files to get to another office to be able to see another doctor!! JUST STAY AWAY!!!  Respond

22/03/11 1 2 1 1 Very ignorant. Village medical clinic doesn t have friendly staff. He is punctual because no one likes to see him. He is not helpful at all, in one instance he told me, that he wished science had not improved as much, so that he could tell me to go home and sleep and my disease would go away, similar to cave age. If this is his attitude towards his practice, go figure the rest. I have been critically ill twice (misdiagnosed by this Doctor) and have gone to the next doctor finding out that my situation was actually far more critical. He is least attentive to your issue and does't put much effort to find the root of your illness... Not sure how is it still around.  Respond

06/03/11 1 1 1 1 "Rude, arrogant, unprofessional and always in a rush" Yes the exact phrase which somebody else told about him! staff are wonder to find documents. he is looking the ground to find some cash on it. AVOID this clinic (park rotal village) they are sick and make you sick.  Respond

08/02/11 3 3 1 1 Very disappointed with my visit to this doctor. I took my young child to see him and found him cold, unhelpful, lacking empathy and difficult to obtain information from. I feel this is unacceptable when dealing with young children and will avoid him in future.  Respond

15/01/11 1 1 1 1 Rude, arrogant, unprofessional and always in a rush. I've taken my 80 year old mom to see him a few times, he messed up her ultrasound tests so we had to go back to the lab again, mistakenly stopped one of her medication and then accused us of "screwing up his prescriptions", and the last time we were there, he made us wait for 45 minutes and then rushed out of the room to have his sandwich!! Stay away from him and that office. We're never going back there again.  Respond

21/12/10 4 4 1 1 If I see that Dr. Sharoukhi is the DR. on staff that day, I turn around and walk out. He is detached and arrogant, and bizarrely misdirected. The last time I saw him, I asked for a refill of my antidepressants, as my long-time family doctor (who works at that location) was unavailable. He launched into a series of odd questions eg. "Do you find yourself going on spending sprees"? I explained that I am not bipolar, but simply needed a refill, as my doctor had indicated on my chart!  Respond

18/12/10 2 2 2 2 He is always in rush, not listening to you- When you feel sick and you have signs he thinks you are just making a story! and at the same time he is thinking about his own plan for the rest of the day- sometimes his is in good mood, sometimes angry and rude!  Respond

17/11/10 1 2 2 2 He has a really bad memory. Every time I showed up with bloating from my period he kept insisting I was pregnant even after I had told him three times I had been celibate for 2 years. He also does not want to get to the bottom of whats wrong. He just treats symptoms. His students are really unprofessional. I had one dude stare at me and went on about my age and how good I looked. It was like creepy guy. Front reception is unbelieveably dumb. I had one lady call me to drive in for an apt for a normal pap smear then when I came to see the Dr, he rolled his eyes and said " why are you here." I told him your staff called me and insisted that I come in. Then I became really ill and rather than help me he just let me get sicker and sicker until I demanded to see a specialist. I wouldn't trust him for anything serious.  Respond

01/09/10 4 2 1 1 I don't think he has enough knowledge for the job becuase he has 2 answers for everything: either "there is no cure for it, learn to live with it!" or "I have the same problem myself!!!" and he says that for everything!!! He is also always in rush and doesn't wanna listen, kinda rude considering that I always need less than 5 mins time...All together he hasn't ever helped me! I am going to find a new family dr.  Respond

25/05/10 1 5 1 2 I found this doctor to be unhelpful, pill pushing (as if pills are the answer to everything) and disrespectful. As a senior I expect as doctor to take a little time and give me some credit for having brain in my head. I don't know if the fact that I am a female has anything to do with his attitude. I would never recommend him.  Respond

16/03/10 2 3 1 1 He should have been a runner, he doesn't listen to yo carefully and prefers more number of patients rather than better quality of job. Actually his knowledge doesn't look enough for dealing with most of the diseases but he tries to keep you rather than refering you to a specialist. All he does is prescribing the same medications you used before. I will not recommend him at all.  Respond

02/02/10 3 1 1 2 Extremely rude and judgemental. This doctor made fun of me for getting a tatoo. He makes you feel uncomfotable. Piece of advice for the females, always ask for a nurse to be present. It'll make you much more come and less distressed. Better yet change doctors.  Respond

26/11/09 5 5 5 5 Dr. Shahrokhi is an outstanding doctor. He is always polite and friendly, listens carefully to one's concerns and is extremely knowledgeable. My wife and I have been his patients for a long time and have never had any concerns. We always feel comfortable going to him and the waiting period is always short, unless there has been an emergency situation. We feel he goes out of his way to ensure that we get the very best possible advice and care. His medical knowledge is extensive and up to date. He prescribes medicines that are appropriate and effective. As needed he never hesitates to refer one to the appropriate specialist. In summary we are entirely satisfied with his service and have no hesitation in recommending him to others.  See Responses

10/09/09 1 3 1 1 He does not recall your last visit or bother to look at your chart before entering the room. Although I had booked a complete physical he did not do all that needed to be done in one visit. He makes you rush through things and takes things personally. Not a true professional.  Respond

27/08/09 3 2 1 1 It was a nightmare for me every time I saw Dr. Shahrokhi, as I felt disrespected every time I saw him. My experiences include, “you are allowed 10 mins. app. with me”, being questioned at the reception desk (as I was checking in) why I was there. In response, I referred to the medication we had discussed two days ago. His blunt answer was, “I will not prescribe it to you” to which I said, “I can discuss this later”. To cut a long story short, he prescribed me the said medicine because I told him about the “G” plan that he did know about. The final stroke came when the receptionist told me, “Dr. Shahrokhi told me to tell you to be quick as he has many patients today.” Dr. Shahrokhi has strong monetary priority in his profession, lack of knowledge and experience. What would College of Physicians and Surgeons say about the “Code of Ethics” that Dr. Shahrokhi signed at the end of his Canadian physicians training?  See Responses
